Hi my name is Eleanor, l have been doing housesitting for the past five years. l really enjoy it so much i love meeting new people and looking after your animals. I love to travel. I am a matured aged retiree, very clean, tidy person and a nonsmoker.
Hi we are a loving, caring, retired couple looking for house sitting in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne, anywhere from Carlton to Warrandyte, Ivanhoe to Kangaroo Ground, Kew to Eltham and more.....We like the variety of living in many different locations after being in the one place for many years, (where we were very involved in the local community) before settling again. We have had many animals of our own over the years and we would love to look after your dogs, cats, chooks, guinea pigs, bees, etc. and as we are home a lot, your animals will get lots of attention and not be left for long periods. We are very active and love to walk, so your dogs will get plenty of exercise. Our animals (cats and dogs) were always inside animals, so got lots of cuddles and play time. We are mad gardeners (at least one of us is! The other one is good at mowing). So your garden will be in good hands. We are very reliable and honest and will leave your home in the same condition as we found it. We have excellent references, both character and sitters, and our referees are very happy to speak to you and tell you how well we looked after (and spoilt) their pets. Please feel free to contact us and have a chat.....Gwendoline and Alan
Annette and I left Sydney 8 years ago and worked as volunteer Rangers in the N.T. and assistant teachers in an aboriginal school. Then we house-sat twice in Swan Hill and while Annette completed a Masters in Medical Science looked after 3 properties in Tasmania. We looked after 4 properties on Kangaroo Island minding a vineyard/farm (finch, dog, 73 cattle, 1 poddy-calf; we love animals) until March 2015. We then moved to Western Australia where we have cared for another 7 places, 6 of them with farm or domestic animals, taking us through until early-May 2018. Non-smokers, we are active, love the outdoors, bushwalk, jog, participate in flora & fauna surveys, swim but we also enjoy reading, theatre and cinema. We have police clearances and recent references, which we are only too happy to supply. The house that we still own in Sydney is rented out and, as owners, we have an awareness of the property situation from that perspective. We can guarantee that that any house, animal and/or grounds that we mind will be looked after with the utmost attention, respect and care. Thank you.
We are a couple, aged late 50’s-ish, who have been married for over 30 years and arrived in Perth in September 2015 from the UK on a 4-year working visa as a result of a job opportunity in the medical profession. We started house sitting as a way of saving sufficient funds to allow us to take time out to explore Australia in greater depth before we return home. We are reliable, house proud, non-smokers who would treat any property with respect and in accordance with the owner's wishes. Our own property in the UK is currently being looked after by our 30 year old son who is very trustworthy but we know how anxious it can be when you are away from your home for any length of time! We began house sitting in February 2016 and have sat for a number of house owners around the Perth area, some of whom we have returned to several times. Sue works full-time at a variety of clinics around Perth while Gerard is not employed so would normally be around any property throughout the day; both are keen gardeners and since Gerard has plenty of time on his hands, extra duties over and above the norm should not be an issue. We have never been dog owners (nor looked after any, actually) but generally like animals and have looked after the pets our three children had as they grew up - rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, fish and birds. We have references from previous sits available for your perusal.
We are currently renovating and rebuilding our home. We are both working, Peter is full time and Janine is part time 3 days a week. We are both animal lovers and would treat your pets as our own. We only have a cockatiel as our dog passed away last year. Once we are back in our own home we will certainly be adding a dog or two to our family again. If for some reason our cockatiel wouldn't fit in your household we are able to have it bird sat with friends during our stay in your home. We are both tidy and clean home keepers. We would also look after your gardens and lawns during our stay.
I am a mature, honest and responsible female, currently a home-owner myself of an investment property. I have recently moved after a rental lease period expired and put my possessions in storage until I purchase a property for myself. House-sits of long term period preferred but any period considered. I have previously owned and lived in my own home until moving to Brisbane in 2012 and would care for yours as if my own.I am an animal lover and have considerable experience with all types of animals having run my own small farm in NZ and volunteered at Taronga Zoo for 2 yrs. I was an owner and rider of horses in my earlier years. I had a very loving, elderly female cat whom passed last year and miss not having a pet to care for.I am very fit and agile with a great interest in road cycling and mountain-biking. Gardening and lawn-mowing would be no problem if needed.I can provide references if required . A Police Clearance is available if required also.Hope to hear from you soon. Tracy
Hi!We are experienced house & pet sitters who will take affectionate care of your home and pets. We are a non-smoking, reliable and trustworthy couple with great references. We know how important it is to have your pets in good hands during your holiday. We've both had dogs of our own back home and really miss them. We love spending time with animals and we will take care of your pets as if they were our own.During previous house sits we have looked after various wonderful dogs (some rescue dogs among them), cats and parrots. I (Yvonne) used to take care of my own horses, dogs and rabbits before I came to Australia. Andres also had his own dog and looked after three cats that lived at the hostel in Brisbane where he worked. We met in Brisbane and lived there for two years before we moved to Melbourne this year as Andres started studying Carpentry here.We will keep you updated during your holiday and send you pictures, so hopefully you won't miss your pets too much!Verbal references available on request. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Hi my name is Carolyn and we have over three years of full- time house sitting experience. We are looking for long term house sitting jobs, preferably around Brisbane. I have owned homes for 30 years and understand how home owners expect their home to be looked after, pools included. We currently have home based businesses and work mostly from home. I can supply references from previous house sitting assignments and personal references. We are pleased to attend an interview/ meeting process for new assignments.
Hello everyone!New to this site, I'm moving home to Victoria after several years living abroad in the UK and Europe. I'm a school teacher and writer, planning to spend some months developing side projects, which enables me to be quite flexible on location. Having lived in a variety of shared houses and independent rentals over the last decade, I'm very conscious and considerate of maintaining a clean environment. Very happy to help out with a spot of gardening too, especially during the coming spring months.By nature I'm caring and affectionate towards all animals, but especially dogs, having always grown up with our beloved family dogs as furry best friends. Not having a pet has been one of the big sacrifices of living aboard and instead I'm a very proud auntie to my sister's adopted Pomeranian! I can assure that your pets will be pampered with attention, exercise and cuddles when in my care, and I would be available to be present at home during most of the day if desired. Happy to provide references on request. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line! I'm eager to explore new areas whilst looking after both home and precious pets, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Retired School Teachers...foot loose and fancy free...loving this adventure of ours...seeing the country...no time constraints...been married for 40 years...clean, tidy, responsible, reliable, honest & trustworthy. I have had a successful time so far and met some nice people and formed new friendships during my stays.Happy to co-operate with owners wishes whilst minding their house/property and or pets. Will have my partner most times depending on our family committments. We are both very fussy about cleanliness and will treat your home like our own.If practical I will meet personally, otherwise would like to talk on the phone. We are committed, honest and very reliable, please see references for more information.Kind regards Frank Anderson.
Hi! I'm friendly, respectful, responsible, conscientious and clean, and currently taking extended time off from work. I would be happy to look after your home and pets. I moved to Sydney several years ago to work in a not-for-profit renewable energy advocacy organisation as a community organiser. I loved my job, but it's an intense and emotionally draining line of work, and so I'm taking a long-overdue sabbatical to rest, recharge and regroup. I think of it as taking a year of my retirement early. So far I've spent this time helping people out by house-sitting in a number of places, while also keeping up several hobbies and getting involved in some local volunteer activities.I grew up with dogs, walking and feeding them every day, but I've also had experience living with and looking after other pets. I've recently completed house-sits in Sale (VIC), Melbourne, Busselton (WA), the Blue Mountains, Glebe and Lane Cove, and am currently house-sitting a place in Waterloo. Across all of these I've looked after dogs, cats, chickens, gardens, and, of course, the houses themselves. I have some great references that I'd be happy to provide.I'm an outgoing, active and outdoorsy person, though I'm fairly quiet when at home. I will happily spend my time looking after your house and pets, reading, practising my cello, going bushwalking and jogging, volunteering in things like local bush re-vegetation projects, and occasionally going out to spend time with friends. I also hope to pick up a bit of tutoring work to provide me with some food money. I haven't yet applied for a police check, but I'm happy to if you need.I'm also happy to share with you anything else about me that you'd like to know, and I look forward to meeting you, your home, and your beloved pets.---TESTIMONIAL:(Copied across from Aussie Housesitters website. For my other testimonials, see my 'References' section.)Vicky - Lane Cove NSW - Sep 2017:Nick looked after our house and dog recently while we were away for 3 weeks. Our dog Radar is not the easiest of pets but Nick did a great job. He took great care of both house and dog and the house was very clean and tidy when we got back, complete with welcome message and chocolates to meet us on our return. We appreciated the fact that Nick kept in touch with us by email which made sure we knew all was well in our absence and which we definitely appreciated. I would definitely highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a reliable and completely trustworthy person to housesit.

Hi guys, I'm a 26 year old Sydneysider looking for some affordable housing and furry company while I save for a while in this pricey city we call home. I love to write, cook, adventure and meet new people. I study online and work a location-independent job which means I'm often home during the day to give your animals some love and keep the house safe and looked-after. I am bubbly, caring and responsible, and have experience house and dog/cat/fish sitting. I also run (though pretty poorly!) and if you happen to have an active dog am happy to bring them with for a little workout :)I drive a car (sedan), and will need a place to park nearby.

Recently moved to Melbourne for 12 month+ contract. I am keen to explore different suburbs before deciding where to settle. I have been sharing a house in Brisbane for several years with 2 large dogs (Kelpie and Mastiff/ Labadour cross) and miss their companionship. Last Christmas I minded a house in Brisbane with 3 small dogs, a fish tank and birds which was fun and kept me amused. The dogs enjoyed my company, playing fetch, watching TV with me and sleeping on my bed.Earlier this year, I minded a house in Ipswich for 10 days which included 2 active dogs and 2 cats.
I'm housesitting as it allows me to affordably live on my own and have the company of animals plus I get to contribute to others through giving you security for your house and love and companionship for your pets and they get to stay home while you are way.I am fit and healthy, I do not smoke, seldom drink alcohol, and will not behaving social gatherings at your place - I tend to go and visit my friends rather than they come to me as most have families to consider I love having animals around – they are great company and apparently I am great company for them to – I have met very few cats or dogs that aren’t friendly towards meI like to meet you before you go away as I want to know how you look after your house and pets because I will look after you animals like you do. I feed them the same way you do, I walk them as much like you do as possible (Taking dogs for walks is always a good excuse to take a break and get some good exercise) and they get to sleep in their usual place as well – be that on the bed I am sleeping in or on their own bed or outside. If it is needed I am also very happy to give them any drugs they need whether that be tablets or injection - and they will be given just the way you want them given. As I work and study from ‘home’ I can be “home” a lot if your pets require that or I can be out and aboutI have experience with cats as I grew up with them and I had my own cat for 17 years - you can't really say you own a cat - a beautiful large male tabby who lived a very comfortable life. I have also looked after other people’s cats. And with dogs - I have helped look after friends and housemates animals over the years as I have travelled around to many places so I have experience with a variety of dogs – Great Dane, Viszla, Collie and Collie cross, Ridgeback Mastif, Retriever cross, Cavoodle, Jack Russell and other more mixed dogs, - so any size is fine.I have also looked after budgies, fishes, pet mice, rabbits and hamsters over the yearsI will take care of your home as if it is my own precious place – and will leave your home in much the same way as I found it or maybe cleaner so that you come home to what you like and slip back in to your ways.Since I 'work and study from home' I can move around happily and easily and happily adapt to my environment – I have house/pet sat in Coburg, Reservoir, North Fitzroy, Greensborough, Doreen, Caulfield North, Rosanna, North Frankston .Much as I'd like to have a long block of time short stays are fine too. While you are away I am very happy to keep you updated with emails and/or text messages if you like - I use Whatsapp for my overseas messaging. Looking forward to helping you out – Cheers Julia Reading
I'm Petrice a 27yr old nurse, currently living in Eltham with my parents and their dog. I am looking for any length house sitting while I save for my own place. I love dogs and have previously house and dog sat. Growing up I have always had some type of animal to look after so I will look after yours as if it is my own. I'm very clean and tidy and a non-smoker. Also very active so if you're pet requires a walking or running buddy I am more than happy to do so!
We are a semi retired couple who own a villa on the Central Coast which is currently rented out till Feb 2018.We love animals of all kinds especially dogs and look forward to caring for your animals as if they were our own.We are a non smoking, fit and energetic couple who would be more than happy to exercise your dogs daily.Look forward to hearing from you soon,Regards,Debbie and Colin Wood.
Dear Home Owner, we know the difference between a house in the home so would look after your home as we would our own. We also believe in karma - do good to receive good. Dates we are available for house sitting : 19th July end of October 2017 Ideally East or North entrance homes November December Melbourne House SitsWe are looking to move out of Sydney (want something quieter and over the rat race!) so are looking to save some money to buy sometime as well as get a feel for where might be nice to live. We both love animals, want dogs of our own eventually and are not allowed to have pets where we are so would love to have animals around. We are both very active so walking dogs, even twice a day would be a pleasure. Luisa works casually caring for the elderly or others in their homes or nursing homes and doing massage. I work from home (have my own business writing and speaking on natural health & Ayurvedic medicine). Once or twice a month I go to Sydney or elsewhere for the day. I am wanting to write another book so will be home a lot. Luisa would be home a lot too thus we could give lots of company to pets and/or gardens etc if needed during the day. Obviously, we both work in the health field so don't smoke, drink much or have parties etc and are mainly vegetarian. We just like being quiet, with pets & preferably near nature. We don't have any kids though have 14 nieces & nephews between us.Once again, we would love the opportunity to look after your home and any pets, gardens etc. We would be very happy to supply any further references or even contact numbers of people you can talk to directly as we know how important it is to be confident, comfortable and happy with anyone and written testimonials are never as reassuring as speaking with people. We are also happy to come and say hello to you/your pets etc prior to any decision where possible too if it helps. Thanks for your consideration and hopefully we can connect with you soon. Have a lovely day. Mark & Luisa
John and I are retired. We are both 69 years young fit & healthy. I was an Office Manager for a carpet emporium and John worked with Telstra for nearly 50 years finishing in a Project Managerial Position. We sold our beautiful home on the Gold Coast in 2012 and bought a Fifth Wheeler to take on Australia wide. We have been doing just that for just over five years. We now have firm friends whose homes we have looked after. We will look after your home as you would yourselves. We are both house proud, John did love his garden and he is a very handy guy to have around. We have loved and lost our beautiful Alaskan Malamute "Tully" so we realise how important pet(s) are.John has laid pavers, created a rubble drain, fixed a leaky roof. Maintained acreage, trimmed hedges. Generally hands on with the unfinished project or two. If a pool has to be cleaned he is the man to do it.We have looked after chooks, birds, cats, fish, dogs, cattle, 1 horse and 2 ducks and guinea pigs.I love keeping the house in tip top condition and I am able to do bookkeeping/office work if it is needed. We pride ourselves with the excellent references that we have received.
I am a single, non-smoking professional currently living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and working at the Department of Health. I am a responsible, reliable and considerate person, and would take excellent care of your property. I have travelled the world and have been a considerate guest wherever I have stayed.
