My preferred housesits are in the Hills area, Blacktown area, Penrith area and Richmond area.

I am a reliable, mature young lady. I am a non-smoker.

I am a primary school teacher living with a noisy family so I use housesitting as an opportunity to have some space and quiet.

I am also interested in buying a house in the future so I find housesitting a fantastic opportunity to get to know the neighbourhoods and functions of different houses.

I enjoy animals, and live a very tidy, active lifestyle.

I also work as a casual employee at a leisure centre.

I am interested in ensuring people have peace of mind that their house and animals are looked after whilst they are away. I have multiple house sitting experiences over the last 5 years and am called upon regularly for future housesits by previous clients.

My partner joins me for house sits. He is 24, currently working as Lifeguard Team Leader and is working towards a career in musical theatre. He was a part of the Mary Poppins production at Riverside Theatre in 2015 and continues to perform in amateur productions.

Dominic & Roie

  • Melbourne

Hi there,

We're a clean, well educated, healthy and conscientious couple who love pets and are very respectful. We're active, like to cook and enjoy maintaining a harmonious household.

Roie, 33 female, works full time as a Community Development Officer for local Government. Dominic, 32 male, (me). I'm a freelance writer currently on a Fellowship at the State Library of Victoria. I often works from home, so will be around during the day to tend to the pets and the house.

Roie and I currently live in an inner city apartment, (Carlton North) and due our love of nature, the beach and animals, house sitting is ideal. It's a situation where we get to spend time with animals, enjoying their company, taking them for walks, etc, while getting a break from our inner city life. Its a perfect combination for us.

We will treat your house with the utmost respect and look forward to getting involved in Happy House sitters.

Our best,
Thanks for your consideration,

Dom and Ro.

We are Anne-Marie and Reinhard, a couple celebrating our recent retirement by enjoying different parts of Australia by doing house and pet sits for people who love their homes, gardens and animals as much as we do.
We were chefs by trade and now live on the Gold Coast in a unit, where unfortunately we are not allowed to keep any pets. We have previously lived on property and owned and loved several animals, including dogs, cats and geese.
We are used to dogs of all shapes and sizes. Our dogs have included German Shepherds and a Hungarian Vizsla, all who required a great deal of exercise and training.
Over the years we have owned several cats. In fact, Anne-Marie is an absolute cate lover and has owned and loved cats all her life.
We are both active and healthy and enjoy long walks in the bush or on the beach. We have our own car, a Toyota Rav 4 which is ideal to transport dogs in.
We have references from several satisfied home homers who will be happy to talk to you if required.
Our motto is to look after your house, garden and pets as if they are part of our own family.

My names' Abbey, I'm a 31yo professional who works full time, studies part time and spends the rest of my spare time walking, hiking, at the gym, or finding the best coffee spots in the sunshine that Melbourne has to offer.

I absolutely adore dogs, they are just the best companions! I curreently rent and cannot have pets but cannot wait until I am in my own home and can get a pup.

I am super clean (a well known fact amongst all my girlfirneds haha) with an impeccable rental hostory too. I have spent many weeks & months over the years housesitting for old colleagues/friends etc.

I'd love to help out & spend some time with others' pups whilst they travel/away fromhome. Feel free to ask me any quesitons, I am happy ot provide a reference of the pup I've looked after, on multiple occasions.

Cheers, Abbey

I am in my late twenties and enjoy house sitting and love animals. I have mainly looked after dogs but am equally happy around all animals. I like to keep tidy, am a non smoker and respect other peoples belongings. I enjoy watching movies, playing computer games, arts and crafts, photography and spending time with my friends.

I graduated uni and have a full time job, Monday to Friday, but am normally home by about 4.30. I live in the south eastern suburbs (Aspendale) and grew up with pets (a cat, two dogs and many birds and fish).

I started house and pet sitting when I was a teen for friends and family when they went away, and decided to start full time professional sitting while at uni. I always loved animals since I was little however knew I would never be able to be a vet. Pet sitting has meant that I get to work with animals on a caring level. When caring for a pet, I always treat them as my own and have made life long friends with recurring clients.

I am always happy to meet both you and your pets before you leave. This means that your pets can be formally introduced to me to ensure they don't feel threatened or abandoned. As pets require an extra amount of responsibility, I do ask for a small fee for my one-on-one caring services, however I am happy to negotiate for long stays. This fee includes walking as required and any other special care your pet may need (medicine etc).

House only - No charge
Cats - $15-$20 a day
Small or non active dogs - $20-25 a day
Large and active dogs - $25-$30 a day
Multiple animals - I may add $5
(I do not charge extra for peak times and am happy to negotiate for long stays)

Maryann & Peter

  • Sydney

Hi there, we are Maryann and Peter.

We’re quiet, respectful, reliable and polite non-smoking professionals looking for house-sitting work while we save towards a deposit for our very own home.
We have experience with cats and dogs and utterly adore all animals, and so far, the animals we have sat with have loved us!
We have both lived out of home and understand house pride. We will keep your house clean and tidy, and we will love and look after your animals as if they are our own with plenty of hugs and love to give them.

We have decades of experience looking after pets of our own and those in our immediate family, along with this experience we also have experience in giving medications to animals, along with animals with higher needs such as grooming and making sure they are well looked after.
We have been booked out completely for the last 6 months with both short, and long-term stays, and are looking to continue helping people with their holiday needs, and continue to try and reach our own goal for being first homeowners!
We will leave your home in perfect condition exactly as you left it, and your pets will be in the best hands possible being well looked after.

We look forward to hearing from you!

[We both have our police checks and references which are available upon request.]

Review - Sarah, Oyster Bay. Sit date Sep 5 - Oct 23
"Lovely couple, came home to a happy cat, a clean house and all pot plants well and content. We were away 7 weeks and they sent us weekly updates the occasional video and photos. Would happily recommend."

Review - Marianne & Martin, Henley. Sit date July 13 - August 19
"Peter and Maryann house sat for us for five weeks from mid-July 2018 and again for several days in September.
They are a friendly capable young couple, with an obvious and clear affinity with animals. They kept in touch regularly while we were away with texts and photo updates of our cats using Whatsapp.
We have 5 indoor Persian cats, 3 bantam chickens and a large garden. The cats being long haired show cats, required daily grooming, which they mastered.
No problem was too hard and when a leak in the laundry arose, Peter engaged his father to fix the problem, Pete and Maryann were great house sitters who did an excellent job
We do not hesitate to recommend Peter and Maryann for future house sits."

  • Sunshine Coast

I am from Tassie and David is originally from NZ. We have been married 13 years. I have a daughter who lives on the Sunny Coast with her partner and baby, and a son who lives in Canberra with his partner.

David has had a mid-life career change(!) and accepted a placement at USC earlier this year, studying Paramedics. He moved from Tasmania in Feb this year to start the course. A big change from working in the construction industry!
I moved up in July and work full time across a 7 day roster.

We have rented out our home in Hobart and our lovely 'share care dogs' who are very lucky and enjoy two homes and two loving sets of humans are now staying full time with their other parents (my ex-husband and partner). We started this arrangement when we first separated and it has continued through the passing of the first two fur babies and into the lives we share with Bonnie (spoilt tomboy princess who thinks she is in charge of everything) and Walter (totally gorgeous loving rescue boy who has blossomed since he has been loved and cared for). We would love to bring them up at some stage for a 3 month stint but totally depends on our living arrangements.

I house sat twice before moving up to the Coast, each for one month. I am certainly happy to ask the owners for references. Neither house had animals, but I still could visit our dogs or take them to the beach, so that helped!

The first house had a lovely English cottage garden which just required a tidy up as necessary, but I still enjoyed getting outside and into the weeding and trimming! The second house was a maintenance free garden so not much to do there, gave me more time to take in the absolutely amazing views from inside the house!

We have two reasons for wanting to house sit, the first being our financial circumstances. With the reduction of one wage, renting has stretched us beyond what we feel comfortable with. We have an end date to our current lease and would really be pleased to look after a home and a garden. And it goes without saying, the second reason is because we miss having the dogs around and think it would be lovely to look after your babies to help fill this huge void in our lives.

Hopefully you can see from the photos we are very tidy people and love having a garden. This is why there is little appeal for us in having to rent a small apartment, We like the space and openness we hope to find in house sits. We also came up here with just the minimum amount of 'things' so finding furnished places to rent is difficult and if we rented an empty place we would have to purchase furniture. All these reasons led to the obvious solution of house sitting!!

We love the beach and walking dogs, ok with cats and would consider birds and poultry.
We only have one car, so being near public transport would be helpful (or access to a bicycle!)

I would look after your home the way you would.

I am 40 years old, animals/nature lover, single with no children, who works part-time. I have grown up with pets ( I love all of them ) and consequently I believe that I would be able to take great care of yours.
I am responsible, reliable and considerate person
I am houseproud and would consider it a privilege to care for your home, pets and garden. I have experience as house sitters and have excellent references. I would be happy to provide references on request. I am available from January, 15 - 2018.

  • Brisbane

Hi my name is Kevin I am currently working as a corporate manager and waiting to have my house built, for the past year I have been house sitting friends houses while they are on holidays and love the opportunity to spend time with their beloved pets and mind their house while they are away. I understand how stressful it is to leave your pets behind and knowing they will be looked after and happy is very reassuring for the owners. I have a trade back ground so i am very capable to attend to any household issues that may arrise. At the moment i have been house and cat sitting for the past month and it finishes up on the 16th January.
I have references, current police check, Blue Card and financially stable.

I'm a fit active 73y.o. retired pharmacist. Home owner in suburban Melbourne. Sober and non-smoker. Don't use drugs. Divorced, living alone. When married used to have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Love dogs, especially large ones. Fine with cats. Used to own chooks.

Looking to house sit just to provide an inexpensive change of scenery. My previous experience in looking after other people's houses includes occasional weekend home swaps with friends who live in country Victoria, and looking after their dog. They will vouch for me (contact details on request) and I can provide additional references.

***For the time being I'm available for short-term sits only (up to about 10 days) within Victoria***

Summary of experience:

Dec 2017/Jan 2018, completed a 6-day sit looking after a house on 5 acres in country Victoria plus 2 Border Collies, 2 cats and about 20 chooks and ducks.

In April 2018 I did a two-week sit of house and large dog in far north NSW.

July 2018 10 days looking after house and small dog in Barwon Heads Victoria

September 2018 5 days near Whittlesea (Vic). House on 25 acres, medium sized dog, galah, 6 chooks, and 3 horses. Reference from this one can be viewed on this website and I have excellent references (available on request) from all of the others.

Nov 2018 7 days at rural property near Alexandra looking after large dog and 3 cats.

I live a quiet lifestyle. Not a party person. I look after my home with great care and would do likewise with others.

I'd suggest arriving a day prior to your departure to facilitate an effective handover and help us both to feel confident in the arrangement.

I had a police check before starting some voluntary work and could provide confirmation of that. Also have a Working With Children Check card.

"We feel extremely fortunate to have found Fran (Francesca) through Mindahome.. She is honest, reliable, incredibly lovely and easy to talk to. Fran took excellent care of our two dogs (who clearly adored her) and she kept in touch with us while we were away with how things were progressing. She left our house spotlessly clean and tidy.We would have no hesitation in recommending Fran to anyone needing someone to care for their pets and home.
Kind regards, Lee and Patrick, Woodie and Alfie"

**BRONWYN -Mt Colah, NSW

"I was fortunate to be linked to Francesca via Mindahome.
Francesca cared for my home and my spoilt indoor loving cat for close to 1 month, whilst I enjoyed overseas travels. It was reassuring to know that Francesca would be responsible for the house and cat minding whilst I was away.
We were able to keep in contact via email throughout my trip so I was aware of any house or cat issues.
On return I found a tidy, immaculate house and importantly, a healthy and happy cat. My jet lag was eased by the fact that Francesca had made up the bed with clean sheets so I could have a long nap!"

Dear Francesca, We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Wyrley, and thank you ever so much for leaving the place so clean & immaculate; thanks also for your thoughtful touches: milk, bread, flowers etc. You seem to have found some good follow-up house sits: we're sure they will appreciate you just as much as we do!
Do keep in touch with us, and if you are still house-sitting next year, who knows? We might be able to call on your services again.
We wish you all the best in your future ventures, and hope to hear from you sometime.
Best regards, Maurice and Andrew"

**SARAH- Dulwich Hill, NSW

"Francesca Mulcahy housesat and cat-sat for my partner and I, while we were overseas for 3 weeks in March 2013. Without exaggeration, Francesca is the best house sitter we have ever had!

In the lead up to us going away, Francesca checked in with us a few times, of her own volition, to make sure she knew exactly what we were wanting to happen whilst we were away in regards to plant-watering, the various needs of our aged and cuddle-obsessed cat, and household security.

We came home to an impeccably clean and tidy home, a happy cat, thriving plants and an all-round lovely vibe.

When I first heard Francesca was back in town and available for housesitting, my first thought was that I wish we were going away so that she could housesit for us again.

I recommend Francesca without hesitation. House sitters this conscientious and professional are rare, so snap up the opportunity to have her take care of your home!"

**STEFANIE, DENNIS, LAUREN and ASTRO-Collaroy, Northern Beaches - NSW
It gives me great pleasure to write this reference for Francesca Mulcahy.
The first moment I met Francesca. I knew I had made the right decision.
Her smile, her mannerism and her proven reassurance that our home and our gorgeous dog will be in good hands, made me start to look forward to my holiday.
By having Francesca stay in our home, the pressure was taken off our neighbours and family members to constantly pop over and check that all was well.
To have Francesca stay in our home, allowed us to keep our dog in his home environment and so avoid the added stress on him if he had to be taken to a boarding kennel. Our dog immediately befriended Francesca. She is wonderful with animals.
We were overseas at the time the massive storm hit Sydney - April 2015. Nothing was too hard for Francesca, she simply went into survival mode and looked after our property as if it was her own. We saw the before and after photos and still are ever so grateful to her for all that she has done.
On arrival back from our 5 weeks holiday, we found our home perfect, just as we had left it and our dog happy and welcoming.
We highly recommend Francesca and we will invite her back to our home on our next holiday.
Thank you so much Francesca, our new friend for life.

**Peter - Newtown, 5 months

"Francesca is the best house sitter we have ever experienced. The cleanliness and attention to detail is impeccable. We highly recommend her."

**Kelly & Mark - North Ryde, NSW

"Francesca looked after our house and 2 pets while we were overseas. It was obvious from the moment I met her that she was capable, considerate and a sincere person. I felt at ease knowing she was looking after our home, pool, backyard and more importantly our dog & cat (who apparently grew a liking to her and followed Francesca everywhere around the house - she was never alone!).

During our time overseas Francesca kept in contact with me via text, updating me on how the animals were and what they were getting up to. On our return the house was spotless and the animals had been extremely well cared for (loved) and all in good health.

I hope that Francesca is available to stay again on our next family holiday. I am delighted to highly recommend her as a house sitter - not only does she genuinely love pets, but is a responsible & friendly person.
Many thanks,Kelly "

**BEC, MICHAEL & BASIL - Leichhardt, NSW

Hi Fran,

Once again thank-you so much for taking such loving care of Basil and our home while we were away over the past few weeks- we are so lucky and grateful to have had you here, and also the flowers and note were just so lovely to come home to! They smell so nice! Along with the clean house too. And also to catch up with you when we arrived was a bonus.
We really appreciate that you helped with cleaning up outside as well.

Hello! I am a single, non-smoking professional currently working in South Melbourne , so would prefer not to be too far from public transport to get to/from work (or if Bayside i could drive). Having owned a house myself in the past I am conscious of the care and security needed in keeping a house maintained, and am a house proud person in general. I love all animals and grew up with my house being nicknamed "the zoo" as we had dogs, chickens, ducks, Guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies, rats, fish and a galah! (As well as horses but they were not in our back garden). Though I had family dogs (schnauzers and boxers) growing up, when I moved out of home at 19 I had my first fur-baby, a red heeler who (despite being diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age) I was lucky to have as part of my life for 13 years. I was devastated when she passed 6 years ago and really miss having that companionship and happiness that dogs bring to your life. I am not in a position to have another dog as yet (but do plan to soon) so love to look after house where I can get some doggy cuddles (or any other animal too!). As you would imagine a red heeler required regular walks and with her condition, regular medication and treatment. So I am well versed in the importance of both.

I have been housesitting for the past year and a half at various homes and am really enjoying trying out different neighbourhoods (which was one of my core reasons for doing this) and of course having the animal companionship

I have looked after breeds of all sizes from labs, boxers, schnauzers, jack russells, staffies, boston terriers, cairn terriers to a rescue kelpie, a bull terrier, a whippet and currently with a lab puppy (as well as many cats and some chickens and a rabbit) .So I am comfortable with all breeds and I am fine with a daily/twice daily walks and have many sits requiring this -particularly the more active breeds.

I am available for any length of house-sitting (longer the better) and can provide personal or professional references as required. I also have a police check which I can forward as required. I am a responsible and reliable - and love a quiet environment. I am 40 and a bit of a home body so would be around a lot to look after your property (and any pets) when I am not at work (which is normal Monday - Friday hours, no weekends). I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a mature, responsible and highly conscientious 53 year old lady who is currently on her seventh successful house sit. My 15 year old daughter and I are well-travelled and highly respectful people that adore animals and find we easily establish rapport with them. We often become the ‘aunties’ to our new fur friends on our house sits. We will treat your home and fur babies with lots of care, love and attention. You can be assured you can holiday with no worries at all about your home and your pets. We lead a healthy lifestyle and are clean living and non smoking. I only work online , so can give your fur babies lots of love and attention. I am a friendly, healthy, happy person that is easy to get along with. I do have a unique gift with animals, they almost always like me on first sight, which says a lot about a person. We are currently house sitting as we love the freedom and lifestyle it gives us ( we have a base in Redcliffe, a small cottage) and as we no longer have dogs or cats of our own, just love looking after other peoples. My daughter is very mature for her age and is a lovely person with masses of compassion for animals.
We are more then happy to supply references if you require them, both from house sitting, work, school and personal.
I really hope you consider us as we believe you’ll be very happy with us.

We are a retired couple who love bushwalking, fishing, our national parks, beaches and coastal headlands. We are clean and tidy and respectful of other people's property, respect the neighbour's right to privacy, peace and quiet, and love pottering around our garden, vegi patch and orchid greenhouse. Non smokers/drinkers. We have an affinity with dogs (and wildlife) having recently lost our third dog, an Alaskan Malamute, the previous dogs being an English Springer Spaniel and a German Short-Haired Pointer. All our dogs have been members of the family.

We would love to house mind in the same high manner we love and respect our own house in and around the Central and North Coast of NSW, including South West Rocks, Hat Head, Nambucca, Port Macquarie, Foster, Laurieton,North Haven, Urunga, Coffs Harbour, Yamba and Iluka. We have previously house sat and have engaged house sitters. See references.

Below, however, are copies of responses from our most recent house sits:

# South West Rocks, June (and August) 2018.

"Hi Lyn & Chris
I hope you arrived home ok, the boys were watching the door all day waiting for you to come back.
Thank you so much for a fantastic job with the house, gardens & looking after the boys (dogs - Ollie and Baz).
I'll let you know when next I'm holidaying, hoping to get to Cairns soon, so I'll let you know my dates.
Lovely meeting you both & catch up again soon.
Di, Ollie & Baz."

# Ocean Shores, November 2017

Lyn & Chris looked after my house dog & chooks for 2 weeks in November
They cared for them well spoilt & fussed over my border collie & kept me up to date with everything.
On my return LYN had a lovely meal waiting which was wonderful after a long drive.
I would recommend them to care for your pets & home with total confidence.
My dog took to Chris instantly he fussed over her played games with her.. she is often very reserved around strangers.
Clearly they love dogs.

Thank you both

Hi there!

We are Tom 34y/o and Agnes 33y/o. Moving permanently from Melbourne to Adelaide. We are married and are both very friendly, helpful, reliable and can be trusted to take care of your home and pets.

We will be available to house sit for you from the 1st August 2018.

We think Adelaide and all that surrounds it are beautiful. We wish to purchase property there one day so we believe house sitting is a great way to learn about and experience the different areas.

This is a decision we are taking very seriously and plan to be involved in house sitting for approximately one year at this point. You, therefore, can be reassured that our main goal is to house sit for you in a very satisfactory manner.

We used to own a Florist business so we have a love for flowers and plants. We love animals and have experience looking after dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, birds and you can throw in a turtle too!
We have progressed on to become Security Officers in the security industry which is what we will be working as in Adelaide. In summary, we are hard working, clean, security conscious and know how to look after pets and gardens.

We both hold Victorian and South Australian security licenses. This requires that we both carry out national police and fingerprint checks. We can supply the police checks to you upon request.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and we look forward to possibly working with you.

Kind Regards
Tom and Agnes

Hello, my name is Simon, I'm a single 48 year old professional, non smoker who is clean and tidy and house proud, inside and out.

I have house sat for friends and friends of theirs, which included, garden maintenance, looking after their pets and decorating / painting (they chose the colour/s).

I'm currently looking at house sitting for financial reasons (separated) and undecided where I want to reside permanently.

Would pay for utilities in your absence.

Excellent references are available on request.

Hope to hear from you.

I am an animal lover from way back and although I can't have a pet of my own, I make up for that by being the best aunty I can be to your fur baby! Growing up in New Zealand, we always had dogs, cats, and birds, so I am very comfortable around pets. I have lived in Melbourne since 2011 and have been house & pet sitting for friends and family every now and then, however now I am looking to do so on a regular basis. I work full-time for a charity organisation based in Prahran, play softball throughout the year, volunteer as an English Tutor for Adult Migrants, and spend way too much time on Netflix. I have plenty of experience looking after pets, from big dogs that require multiple long walks or medication, to cats that love to chill out in front of the TV. I can provide a current police check as well as a reference from my most recent pet sitting job, and would love to chat with you if you have any questions.

Current Bookings:

House sitting - 12/10/18 - 31/10/18

Holiday - 01/11/18 - 10/12/18

House sitting - 12/12/18 - 8/01/19

Available: 08/01/19 onwards

Hello! I'm Ellie and I'm a 26 year old Brit travelling around Australia.

I am a non-smoker, a vegetarian and I absolutely adore animals, which is part of the reason why I love to house sit! I grew up with a cat back home in England and I also have plenty of experience looking after friend's dogs.

I'm a responsible, tidy and considerate person and it would be a privilege to look after your home, pets and garden. I am happy to provide references on request.

At the moment I'm looking to house sit in and around the Melbourne area between March and May to focus on my freelance writing. If this is of interest, I very much look forward to chatting with you!

Hi I am a single, mature female. This is a time of exploration for me, I work as a casual, agency, theatre nurse, a job that can take me all around Australia. My children are grown and I am free to enjoy different places and people. I have always had animals and love nothing more than the unconditional love they bring to life. I am vegetarian, I neither smoke nor drink and I have practiced and taught yoga and meditation for the past 30 years.
I look forward to the opportunity to house sit for you,

Hello, I am a single, non smoking 50-something woman looking for house sitting opportunities in and around Melbourne. I currently work in the CBD but am wanting to take some time off (hopefully next year) to travel around Australia housesitting. In the meantime, I thought I'd start locally.

I have lived with animals pretty much my whole life - feels like I grew up in a menagerie - cats, dogs, budgies, goldfish, guinea pigs, chooks. My last 2 fur babies were Turkish Van cats who lived to be almost 20 years old and passed away in 2016 - they were known by everyone as "the girls". I've been pet free since and really miss their furry company. The girls were indoor only cats (although they really really wanted to be big, brave, outdoor adventure girls) so I am a wiz at cleaning out kitty litter trays and am not offended by the occasional miss/mess and always assert that the fine coating of cat fur that I used to wear only added to my overall look.

I currently live in an apartment but have lived in houses with large gardens which I really enjoyed looking after so am happy to look after yours (should you have one). I am a bit of a minimalist and like to keep my home clean and tidy (but comfy) and will keep your home the same.

I've completed of housesits this year - reference for the first one is available in my profiles and I've requested a reference for the second sit. I have another 2 sits booked in for June/July and late August- early October. I have also attached a couple of character references and a police check to my profile. As I live locally, I can be available at short notice and am happy to catch up before you make a decision and before the sit starts.

We are a retired couple who live in the Isle of Man British Isles.
We visit our son and family every year for 3/4 months and they live in Success area.
We no longer own animals due to our travel commitments but have experience of all domestic animals and walk friends dogs when at home just because it makes for the best walking!
We completed a home stay of 14 weeks October - January last year and made lifelong friends with the owners who were located in Wellard on a lovely 5 acre plot..We are also therefore ok with Australian wildlife!
We are in Perth from 7/2/19 -4/5/19 But already have a commitment from 30/3/19 -12/4/19 and want to fit in other sits around these dates.
The owners of our Wellard house sit will be happy to provide references on request
We are very clean tidy non smokers and your home would be very well looked after in your absence. We are very fit and active with a love of the outdoors and have 2 bicycles which are well used on holiday

We are recently retired, non-smoking, active, acreage homeowners based on the Sunshine Coast currently looking to housesit Australia wide. Our interests are walking, swimming, yoga, and of course, travel! We have been running our own business for the past 28 years providing carpet, window and exterior house cleaning and pest control services to long standing customers looking for a quality service. Our customers were private home owners, body corporates and commercial property owners.
We are used to looking after a large garden and pool and have been dog & cat owners. We first used Happy House Sitters when we wanted to travel overseas and had an aging cat. It was such a positive experience that we have used Happy House Sitters on a further 3 occasions. Now that we have time on our hands and our 3 children are independent we are looking forward to the opportunity to explore new areas and seeing more of Australia.
About Us
CHRIS served in the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy and has worked as an airport fireman. He ran a successful cleaning business in the UK before moving with Michelle to Australia in 1990. Michelle and Chris then started a pest control and cleaning business which operated successfully for 28 years. Chris has qualifications in pest & termite control and pool maintenance.
MICHELLE worked in insurance and financial services and her qualifications include Cert III in Hospitality (resort management reservations) and Cert IV in property Services (Real Estate property management). For the past 28 years she has been working in the family business both hands on and running the office. She is also a volunteer adult literacy tutor.
Having used house sitters ourselves we understand the apprehension regarding leaving a prized home and much loved pet with strangers. We have always maintained our own home/garden/pool to a high standard and we are organised, tidy and security conscious. We have many long standing customers who would be happy to provide references as to our honesty, reliability and trustworthiness. . Police checks are available on request. Please see below references from Sharon for a house/dog sit we carried out recently and Georgina an Airbnb host.
We were delighted to have Michelle and Chris stay at our home in Noosa Heads and care for not only our home but also our dog Sunny.
We highly recommend Michelle and Chris to care for your home and pets.
Our home was treated with great care and respect, sparkling clean and Sunny was extremely well cared for, came home to a happy little dog greeting us then he ran straight up the hall to the room Michelle and Chris had stayed in looking for them frantically, couldn’t have a better indication of the fun he had, heaps of long walks.
Highly recommend Michelle and Chris and hopefully they’ll be available for our next trip away.

Michelle & Chris are a lovely, friendly & polite couple. They were easy to communicate with about their stay and I enjoyed hearing about their culinary adventures around Melbourne.
Michelle & Chris went above & beyond leaving the accommodation clean & tidy. I would happily recommend them to other hosts and would happily host them again.
Georgina, Melbourne

We look forward to hearing from you.
Best Wishes
Chris & Michelle
