Karl has been in his role as a senior network engineer for 20 years with a high-profile telecommunications company. Leisah has previously held executive positions in the cosmetics sector but is now pursuing online study and so spends the majority of her time at home. We offer high-quality home and pet care and have undertaken multiple house sitting assignments over the last five years with repeat business. Hi ! I'm Brooke, I'm a Sunshine Coast local originally from a 5 acre property in the hinterland. I returned home from 2 years abroad earlier in the year and have been house sitting my parents home while they have been teaching remotely in Northern Queensland. They have now returned so I am available for other house sitting opportunities. I don't have any animals of my own as I have been moving around a lot over the past 5 years, but love to spend time with other peoples animals. I have looked after family pets over the years including birds, cats, dogs and assisted with some live stock. I have also completed other house sitting stays and can provide references. I work locally full time as a Marketing Manager for a Real Estate Company.
I'm a 38yr old nature and animal lover. I've been a personal in-home aged carer for the past 9 years, and am currently completing my studies in Art Therapy and Counselling. I'm responsible, trustworthy and reliable, and can provide great references and a current police check.I've been the carer of a beautiful adopted English Staffy for 10 years. Hello :) I am 46 year old happy and blessed Mum to an amazing (..reserved around those she doesn't know well, beautifully mannered, thoughtful, delightful, bright, fun..) 8 year old girl, Lily. (We can happily co-sleep so only one double/queen/king bed is all we need.) We share our hearts and home with a joyful Golden Labrador and 2 gorgeous felines - Lily's Dad lives with and cares for our fur babies whilst we are away.(Lil and I had a fantastic 2017 on/off pet/house sitting and met many wonderful people and pets whilst homeschooling :D In 2018 we have settled into a wonderful school again in but will still continue to pet/house sit when the right opportunities come along.)We are looking for short to medium term length stays in well cared for, light and airy homes in Vic. Being reasonably close to the ocean is something we'd love. Living in Ballarat we rarely experience the beauty, wonder and peace the ocean can bring :) The mountains would be wonderful too. Ideally we would love to be somewhere where the pets are allowed inside at least some of the time and we are not interested in a place that doesn't have pets to love :)Lily and I bring with us warm natures, optimistic and joyful attitudes and a reverence for all life...except perhaps flies, ha ha ;) :D We are looking forward to connecting with the right people for a mutually rewarding experience. We have a genuine desire to bring an atmosphere of happiness and harmony to your home and to provide your pets with all the love and care they want and need...and then probably a bit more :D We will be as respectful of your home as we are of ours, e.g. turning lights/appliances off when not in use, security conscious, keeping things clean and tidy.Warm regardsKim :)P.S. I am pretty handy around the house too. I can easily handle broken light bulbs or any other minor thing that can require attention in a home. I am no stranger to power tools and have a scroll saw, sander, mitre saw and dremel tool that I love to 'play' with. So please do not let the fact that I am not male or will not have a male with me put you off! ;) And just for your peace of mind, not that the need would arise, but we have family at home who wouldn't hesitate to travel to help us out in any situation. They are animal lovers too! :D
Hi we both fit 76 year olds or young had life time on the land as farmers so can do and handle most out side and inside jobs. Only do police check if you wish and pay for it as its expensive, have a caravan and spend a lot of time on road have references from past sits names phone number ect thank you Su And John
Hi there,I have recently returned to Perth after living in Victoria for the past 5 years. I work full-time at one of Perth's busy hospitals, and am currently looking for an alternative to renting to allow me some time to get on my feet and decide where I will buy a home here. I love the company of animals, although it's not a pre-requisite. I enjoy travelling, hiking, kayaking and most outdoor activities, but I'm also a sucker for a good book or film when you just need that day on the couch or in a hammock in the shade of a tree. I am an extremely clean, respectful person. I always treat other's homes or pets as if they were my own. Although I don't currently have a lot of references due to being new to house sitting, I have house-sat a few times in the passed five months for various friends, family and acquaintances, as well as a couple of people through Pawshake, who I know would all vouch for me. Please fee free to drop me a line for further information, or to arrange a meet and greet.Simone
Hi :)I am a single, well-travelled mid-30s female, who loves animals, is trustworthy, extremely clean and tidy, and very respectful of other's space and belongings :)I am an experienced house/petsitter, having done so steadily for the past 2 years, solely through word-of-mouth! I've decided it's time to join a reputable site as well, to expand on my fantastic existing home/pet owners' network :) I was inspired to start by my mother, who successfully house/petsat for over 8 years on the Sunshine Coast! I grew up surrounded by animals, and love to be around them. I have experience administering medication to animals as instructed, as a couple of my past petsits have involved older animals that require daily medication. I can provide general maintenance of plants/gardens, and I have also looked after homes without animals. Currently, I am an admin and project management contractor, who works from a laptop/home the majority of the time, with the occasional weekend graveyard shift on the side. Due to my flexible schedule, I tend to be at home during the day more often than a 9-5 worker. I like a chilled, relaxed home environment so you can be assured there'll be no parties or shenanigans in your home while I'm there :) I am an outside only smoker, and never near open windows or doors. I don't drive, so homes' in Mebourne's central/inner city areas, up to 15 minutes walk from public transport such as trams and/or trains, would suit best. I am a very 'low footprint' tenant in terms of other's space, and would care for your animals as you do :) References are available. For extra peace of mind, I can also provide a recent Police Check.I look forward to meeting you!
I am a single, fit and healthy 63yr old retired Nurse and part time house cleaner. I am very house proud and would treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I am also an animal lover and lead a lifestyle that promotes this. I have previously volunteered in an animal rescue center caring for a wide variety of animals including, dogs, cats, birds, ducks and many others. I have also volunteered at a rescue center for abused and neglected horses. I enjoy a quite lifestyle and spending time at home which gives me plenty of time to keep your fur babies company. I also have a passion for gardening.I sold my own home to travel around Asia and am not ready to buy another property at this stage. I thought house sitting would be a wonderful alternative as I have house sat in the past and enjoyed it very much.I can provide references and a police check.Looking forward to hearing from you.
We'll keep your pets happy and home beautiful. We're a couple in our 40s, together for over 20 years, with excellent references and current police checks. We're non-smokers and have no children or pets. We run our own digital media business and work mostly from home so we can be there to feed and love your pets and give them all the care and attention they'll need while they are missing you. We're just about fully booked for this year but will be available in inner Melbourne, within ~ 5km of the CBD, on the following dates: ~14 to 30 November 2018*After arriving from Tasmania in August 2015 we discovered house-sitting is a great way to experience Melbourne whilst we decide where to settle ourselves long term. We've been looking after pets full-time around Fitzroy, Carlton, Abbotsford, Richmond, Hawthorn and surrounds, ever since. We love all animals, especially dogs and cats. We've been owned by cats for most of our lives and have cared for birds, fish, bunnies, and reptiles, too. We successfully raised a puppy from 8 weeks to 18 months for Royal Guide Dogs Tasmania while nursing an elderly cat through her dotage with twice-daily medications, and we've since looked after other guide dog pups-in-training when their full-time raisers needed a break. We've also had a full roster of pampered pet dogs that we've minded on a regular basis in Battery Point, Hobart from 2012 to 2015. We understand that every household is unique and we're happy to do everything your way and keep it exactly as you like it. This is especially true with beloved pets - their health and happiness is our top priority and we'll maintain their familiar routines including feeding, grooming, exercise, and lots of affection and play. Our years of experience in puppy-raising, dog-minding, cat-caring, and general menagerie maintenance allow us to give your pets the best TLC, as well as providing exceptional housekeeping for your home.Feel free to get in touch with us anytime - we'd love to meet you and your pets and discuss your house sitting requirements in person.*As there are two of us, we may sometimes be able to accept bookings that overlap by a few days. We're available in Melbourne CBD and inner urban areas including: Abbotsford, Albert Park, Alphington, Armadale, Ascot Vale, Balaclava, Burnley, Carlton, Carlton North, Clifton Hill, Collingwood, Cremorne, East Melbourne, Fairfield, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, Flemington, Hawthorn, Jolimont, Kensington, Kew, Kooyong, Middle Park, Northcote, North Melbourne, Parkville, Port Melbourne, Prahran, Princes Hill, Richmond, Southbank, South Melbourne, South Yarra, St Kilda, Toorak, Westgarth, and Windsor.
Hi there, my name is Mikaela and I am a science/health care professional living in Sydney's inner west. Having recently moved back to Australia after living in the UK for just over 2 years, I am settling back into life here and looking for new pet/house sitting opportunities. While living overseas I was registered to the house sitting website TrustedHousesitters and pet/house sat across London for numerous home owners, with several becoming repeat customers.I have experience taking care of dogs and cats (often in multiples!) and have a well-developed understanding of everything it requires to keep them healthy and happy. I am a highly respectful person and understand the care and consideration necessary when looking after someone's beloved pets in their home. References from pet/home owners I have worked with are available. OTHER:- Full, clean drivers license- Non-smoker- Police Check- Working with Children CheckEXPERIENCE:- Seven years experience as a pet/house sitter and babysitter- Confidence with large breed dogs (I have grown up with German Shepherds) - Comfortable in administering medications - Home and garden maintenance - Excellent communication - I understand the need for updates and photographs to put your mind at ease while you are awayPlease feel free to get in contact with any questions you may have, or to arrange a meeting. I am happy to send through my resume and references. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi I am Alicia, I'm a 37 year old professional who works full time in finance in the CBD. I am originally from Melbourne and have recently sold my home. I'm housesitting for 2018 and am a nonsmoker. Doing a great job on your sit is very important to me as its how I get referrals for further house sits. Once committed I will never cancel! love animals and have previously owned dogs (various Labrador X's) including a number of rescue dogs (which come with their own unique challenges, but that I love). I have kept tropical fish and have shared houses with lizards, cats and a variety of birds (chickens, canaries, love birds and a cockatiel). I also have experience looking after marine fish, rabbits and guinea pigs. I work full time, however I am able to take your pets for up to twice daily walks with ease. I also have the ability to work from home at times, however, if you need someone to be at home with your pet all day every day, then, unfortunately, I am not the right sitter for you. I will give your pets lots of love and attention before and after work though, as well as weekends!I will live in and keep your home as I would my own, I prefer to always meet you and your pets in person prior to a sit and will ask you lots of questions to ensure your pets (garden and home) are looked after, not only to my high standards, but more importantly to yours. I will seek to understand your expectations on updates and contact whilst you are away, any health issues your pets may have had or currently have and anything I need to know about your home. In addition to previously owning pets, I have been housesitting since September 2017. I also have experience with administering numerous medication to animals, including injections, creams and twice daily tablets. I also have been to dog training with all of my previous dogs and am happy to help out if your pets have minor behavioural issues. Happy for pets to sleep either inside with me or outside as required by you.I have previously used housesitters to care for my dog and so understand the potential nervousness you can feel when leaving your home and pets in the hands of a stranger. I would love to be considered for your next housesit and look forward to speaking with you. Thanks Alicia
After studying yoga for a few years I've been moving between retreat and meditation courses and work in Sydney.House sitting gives me the flexibility to do this and I enjoy looking after pets and spending time in different neighbourhoods. It's been working out well.I'm respectful and tidy, and pets tend to warm to me easily. I grew up with a Jack Russell and have cared for many animals before. I had the honour of watching over two horses and ten chooks for a little while recently.I like to get a good idea of your expectations and follow the pet's routine to keep everyone happy. References and police check are available, please just ask. I'm new to this site though I have the following endorsements from another one:"We were very pleased with the condition of the house, garden and cat. We would certainly use him again."HELEN (Pennant Hills NSW, Jul 2017 - 3 months)"Alex was a fantastic housesitter - clean, respectful, helpful and I couldn't recommend him more! Even my cat warmed to him and she's pretty selective. Thanks again." ROBYN (Surry Hills NSW, Mar 2017)"Alex was the best house sitter we've had so far. He was polite, considerate, very clean, tidy, intelligent, and very reliable. Recommend" GRANT (Forest Lodge NSW, Dec 2016)Please ask anything you would like; We could do video-call or meet in person to discuss what you expect. Let me know how you are going and thanks for considering me.
I own my own company which I can run from anywhere that has internet, having suffered a recent relationship breakdown I have decided to hit the road and explore new places. I am a non smoker, love animals, grew up on a farm, love gardening, nature and the beach. Very clean and tidy, I am looking forward to housitting homes and or pets ??

We are a mature responsible couple who love to travel and experience the beauty and culture of the places we visit. We have always had pets, love animals and realise that making sure they are healthy and happy is of paramount importance. We also own properties and therefore know the importance of maintaining homes to ensure they are safe and well cared for. We are both in our fifties and recently retired from the workforce. We are fit and enjoy walking and outdoors activities. We lived abroad for 5 years and just enjoy slow travel, while meeting new people and experiencing new locations. We have had the opportunity to house sit in Spain and Portugal as well as housesitting on our visits back to Australia. We are mid-way through a 12 month sit on a lovely property in Northern N.S.W looking after a wonderfully energetic border collie. Why we want to housesitHousesitting gives us the opportunity to broaden our horizons, meet new people and of course look after animals. We love the idea of helping someone take a much-needed break without the worry of leaving their pets in care. We have experience in looking after animals and understand they are all individual with their own personality and special needs.
Hallo, I'm Suzanne Mercier and I'm starting a new adventure in my life - housesitting. It combines my gypsy nature with my love of animals. I'm a mature non-smoking and relatively healthy business person. On social occasions, I will drink a glass or two of wine. I love the movies, reading and long lazy lunches with friends.I am a previous home owner so I know how important it is to take care of such a significant asset, second only to your beloved pets. I am house proud and would look after your property the way I looked after mine. The aesthetics of my environment are important to me so I am clean & tidy. I would totally respect your privacy.I work in my own business and work from home around 50 percent of the time which means I would be even better company for your pets. I really love animals which means they will get lots of love and attention.I have been an 'amateur' house sitter over the past 18 months for homes and pets (both dogs and cats) in Bowral (Abby), Seaforth (Cosmo), Manly (Rufus & Neo), Glebe (Miss Tiffy). I have references available if you'd like to check them out.I do need wifi as some of my business is online. As I'm just starting this adventure professionally, I'm not sure what else you need or want to know. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to find out more Thanks and I'm hoping to meet you and your pets. All the bestSuzanne
Good morning. I am a retired widow, non-smoker, who lives on a farm in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. I am active and care for and maintain my 12 acre property mostly by myself. I currently agist horses on my property and in the past, have owned two of our own beautiful horses, a sweet cocker spaniel and later, two amazing poodles, who all lived past 17 years and who were part of our family. I am very keen to visit my daughter and her husband and spend time with my young grandchildren who live nearby at Meadow Springs near Gordon Rd. I have no time constraints so am flexible if you needed to alter your travel arrangements. I would be thrilled to spend time walking and playing with your lovely lab as they are such a kind natured breed. I lead a very quiet life and would be very happy to care for your home and your family member and spend time with them. I can arrange for references if you would like. Thank you. Colleen
