Trustworthy Non-Smoking Single Mature Female. Animal Loving. No Dependents.Hi, I’m Sandra and for the past two years I have been living in Italy getting to know my parent's heritage. I have returned to Melbourne and am currently looking after homes & pets for my friends. I love the flexibility of being a house & pet sitter and hence have joined happyhousesitters.com.au based on a recommendation of a close friend. I am 60 years old and a self funded retiree. In my professional life I was a Sales & Marketing executive working in senior management roles for Fairfax, Media Monitors, Iinet & Sensis. During that time I lived in Brisbane, Sydney & Canberra. For me, "home is where I am living".I would describe myself as mature, responsible, good humoured (I always wake up with a smile) & easy going. I enjoy both quiet times at home relaxing, cooking and reading as well as being active & outdoors playing golf, cycling or just walking soaking in my surroundings. I can guarantee you peace of mind while you are away and a tidy clean house and happy pet/s on your return.Further references can be supplied on request or you can view my LinkedIn recommendations @ https://www.linkedin.com/in/screstani/
We are a professional couple located in Canberra and have previously completed a local house sit in between the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one. We have a seventeen year old daughter who loves school and enjoys part-time work. She is a mature young lady who loves animals of all shapes and sizes. We enjoy meeting and looking after new furry friends during house sits and our daughter currently does this in our home for Don't Fret Pet. We are clean and tidy non-smokers who respect other peoples property and privacy. Whilst we don't have Happy Housesitters references we are happy to forward both of our work histories which include over two decades service in the AFP and an executive HR management role with a not-for-profit.Our house sitting interest at the moment is for holiday breaks (either in or out of school holidays) as a family, or sometimes individually as I (Tony) don't work full time. Occasionally I am happy to get away for a break by myself. My wife encourages it;-)If you are after a small family who will take care of your pets and home as if they were their own then we would love to help.
About Zoe---Hello! I am excited to be able to offer you my experience in caring for my homes and pets over the years! I was a pharmacist for 35 years, and yes....that means I am very detail oriented and like to keep a very clean, organized home! I am fit, work out at the gym, and keep active with hiking, cycling, walking, and kayaking whenever I can! I have also done some casual housecleaning work, which I enjoyed (!). I miss my Westie cross "Chester" and within family members in Winnipeg, there are 7 cats and 4 dogs---who are ALL so much fun!Why I want to house sit---Now that my 4 children are grown and on their own, and I have downsized tremendously, I am ready to travel the world to care for homes and pets and meet new people! ( Not to mention the privilege of being able to hug, walk, feed and care for many new animal friends!) I miss not having a dog at home and really enjoy interacting with the many cats in my life---including all their unique personalities! Having grown up with a father in the Airforce, and moving a LOT, I am very adaptable to new environments and love the adventure of discovering new places and people! I am looking for longer house sits. I am a very caring, compassionate, conscientious person who loves people and animals, and am looking to use those skills in taking loving care of homes and pets so people can travel, knowing that their home and pets are in trustworthy, experienced hands! My experience---I have owned many homes over the years, while raising my children, with our dog, cat and rabbit(s)! As a single parent/homeowner, I have learned how to maintain a house well, and also to troubleshoot and know when to call for assistance! I have also earned money from housecleaning--so your house while be extra clean when you return home! I have done house sitting for my son and looked after his cat Sterling and his German Shepherd/Husky Cross- Elliott. I also have experience pet sitting cats through "Trusted House Sitters" and have 5 star references, as well as a criminal record check on that site. My own experience looking after dogs and cats within my own home comes in extremely handy. And surprisingly, as a pharmacist, I have had experience in dealing with customers and their pets regarding illnesses and medications as well! I am confident in being able to handle any health concerns with pets, as well as knowing when to call or go to the vet.****I am happy to supply my references, as well****

Happily married, and still in love after many years of working together 24/7, we decided to retire early and take the time and opportunity to explore this great Southern land. With our four-legged child, a 6 year old Poodle/Maltese X, we like to spend periods of time in places that please us. We've met fabulous folk and seen wonderful sights on our journey. Now we'd love to learn more about the area in which you live!In our former life we were kitchenware wholesalers and retailers, with a cooking school - where John taught many culinary classes. He is passionate about real food and good nutrition, and continues to cook up a storm on the road! Michele is a qualified dog trainer. A Certified Training Partner of the, internationally recognised, Karen Pryor Academy she works with private clients and also volunteers at RSPCA centres. Caring for your pets is an absolutely joy for her - and she'll happily train any problem behaviours you may be experiencing ... or just teach your fur baby a few neat tricks in your absence! All just part and parcel of the house sitting service! With Michele in residence, your pets will enjoy the time out and holiday just as much as you will!We also have experience with a variety of farm animals, and can administer needles and medications as required. We enjoy the outdoor life enormously! We're mature - AND we still know how to have fun! We're energetic, active and interested in everything. Walking every day is important to us, and keeps us all fit. Other than that, we're quite content to stay @ home and enjoy the ambience. Pottering in the garden is always a pleasure - never a chore. We have a travelling, potted herb garden ... essential for the chef! Actually, we're healthier and happier now than ever before. We're non-smokers and we need a smoke-free environment. We keep a clean and tidy caravan, and will treat your house with due care and respect. We're responsible, reliable and trustworthy. As former home owners, we understand that you want the peace of mind that comes with the right people caring for your critter-kids and castle. We are those people, and would love hear from you.Links to Michele's professional training qualifications, and other relevant information is available on request. Hi there! We are an Aussie female couple. Nat is an ex-Australian Federal Police Agent and Jodie an Ex-Resort & Accommodation Manager. Now aged in our late 40's we have been happily moving around the world as FULL-TIME PET & HOUSE SITTERS since early 2013.Our references from over 40 home owners who we have loved sitting for, sometimes many times over during the last 5 years, are attached to this profile as individual documents from each year (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). We can also provide phone and contact details for verbal references if you prefer.A bit about us...Natalie enjoyed a 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police, and Jodie has over 20 years experience in hotel and resort management, tourism and hospitality throughout Australia. We bring this knowledge, care and responsibility to your home. To say we love house sitting is an understatement. As natural teachers, we have spent the last few years helping others get started as confident and caring house sitters through our online course, the 'House Sitting Academy' and our own private network of quality sitters. This work does involve us needing reliable internet on any house sit we take on. Since the majority of our time is spent working online, we would spend most of our days and nights at home with your pet/s. For more information about us, including all our references and projects, please visit our personal site at www(dot)NatnJodie(dot)com. We always love meeting with home owners through Skype video so we can make a personal connection with you and your pets, and feel into whether we are the perfect match for each other. WHAT WE BRING TO YOU... OUR BACKGROUNDS - We are a vibrant & active couple who love animals & nature, connection and learning about new cultures and people. We bring our vitality to your pets and property, to spend quality time with your animals each day, giving them the same love & care we have given to our own pets since we were young, and to care for your property. Nat's 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police (certificate available on request) was spent largely in VIP Protection looking after the Australian Prime Minister, overseas Heads of Government, and various royal families, and a further 6 months in East Timor serving with the United Nations. Jodie has over 20 years tourism and hospitality experience, managing and maintaining various sized properties and Resorts all over Australia. We have both grown up with many pets in our lives since very young (including a many varieties of dogs, birds, Diamond Pythons, and tropical & freshwater fish) so having pets and looking after them is second nature to us; In fact it is strange not to have pets in our lives. We now always choose house sits with pets where we can. OUR PREVIOUS HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE -Between us we have done over 40 house & pet sits over many years in various countries, which has taken us from extremely remote rural properties, to snow environments, tropical jungles, the inner city, suburban and smaller village life. Along our journey we have also had to deal with extremes of climates and environments, from humid rainy season jungles, hurricane season in the Caribbean, sub-zero snow conditions in a number of Canadian & US winters, to living at altitude (3000+ meters), and are equally comfortable in all. We have also been involved in the professional training of several dogs we have minded.Due to Jodie's background, some of our assignments have included the management of in-house staff, B&B's and holiday Gites (self contained) for which we have been paid. Outside of such assignments however, we DO NOT charge for our house sitting, instead being massive advocates of the fair exchange aspect of house sitting and the ‘Sharing Economy’. OUR OWN PROPERTY EXPERIENCE -Over the years we have both owned our own homes as well as multiple investment properties between us. As such we are well used to:• Caring for and maintaining property• Chlorine and salt water pools• Jacuzzis• Indoor and outdoor plants, gardens, lawns, greenhouses and vegetable gardens• The responsibility for the general running of a household We both appreciate the importance and value of owning a home, possessions and pets. YOUR PRIVACY & SECURITY –With our Federal Police & Resort Management backgrounds, security & privacy is of utmost importance for us, and we fully appreciate it is for you as a home owner providing your home & possessions for house sitting. You can be completely assured your home and assets will be completely secure and maintained with us. Natalie held an Australian ‘Top Secret’ security clearance for many years in her Federal Police VIP Protection work.WHY DO WE LOVE HOUSE SITTING? Simply put, this is our life & our livelihood! Our internet based education business has enabled us to break free of any fixed location for work & allowed us to live a full-time 'digital nomadic' lifestyle since early 2013... a lifelong dream for both of us! 97% of our time has been spent house sitting since we left our previous fixed location of Dubai in 2013, and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. To us, experiencing back-to-back house sits with absolute ease since we started really shows us that we living our heartfelt purpose... and it certainly feels that way. We envisage living this lifestyle for many years to come, especially since sharing house sitting experiences and tips to inspire others to experience it, has now become the focal point of our business itself.House sitting is an incredible lifestyle for us, combining so many things we love. We absolutely adore the company of animals to break up our work life and enrich our experience, and enjoy constantly experiencing different locations & people of the world.Ultimately, we find ourselves at this stage of our lives really desiring to not just travel, but live for periods in different locations around the world for our own enriching experiences and to also facilitate our business ventures.Thankyou for taking the time to read our profile. We really look forward to connecting with you & seeing if we are the perfect match for each other. KindlyNat & Jodie
We are two retired guys who own a house in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and are renting it out for a year or so to drive around Australia. We would love to house and/or pet sit for other people on the way while they enjoy their time away. We have rented houses around NSW and Qld and have always treated them as if they were our own as is testament by the excellent references we have been given by the Property managers, and this is the way we would look after any properties that we are lucky enough to sit. We have had extensive experience with both domestic animals...cats, dogs, birds etc. after having owned all of these at some stage...one of which is shown in the pic I have uploaded...as well as farm animals whilst owning acreage in NSW and Qld.We are both extremely clean & tidy people, non smokers and like to ride push bikes, play tennis and go to sporting events like AFL, Rugby League, tennis etc.
Hi, We are a couple 67 and 60. We have just retired and have already done a number of house sits on Magnetic island and in the Brisbane area. We have enjoyed it immensely, we now would like to get more into house sitting to see more of this wonderful country. Our house sitting preference at this time would be Queensland or Northern NSW, however we are looking at all states. We have lived in our own house in Coffs Harbour for 40 years. We are a very stable couple who pride ourselves on looking after other peoples houses and animals the same as we look after our own. Although we have not had any dogs or cats at home we do have quite a bit of experience with animals, looking after many different kinds during the house sitting jobs that we have previously done. Spencer has also worked at an animal park for 40 years. We have bred birds as a hobby for the last 10 years. We are sure your house and animals would be in good hands with us looking after it while you are away. We are both non-smokers and enjoy the outdoors. References are available. Please call us to discuss any needs you may have.
We are Robert and Noelene and a conservative active early 60s retired couple based out of Ballan in Victoria and our medium term (2018) preference is for house sits in southern WA. Noelene spent her early childhood years in south west WA and we hope to catch up with a sister, auntie, cousins, and nieces and nephews. We have travelled Australia extensively and look forward to continuing to explore all locations in slow time seeking house sits that might run for 30 days plus. We have extensive housesitting experience including suburban, country, short term rental properties and a bed and breakfast. We also enjoy remote locations having spent some time in outback Northern Territory. We enjoy Pets and have looked after dogs, cats and fish mostly, sometimes multiples with 3 cats and 3 medium size dogs making for interesting mealtimes and walks. We have a well behaved Female Golden retriever that loves to meet other furkids.Gardens, Lawns, general house chores, forwarding of mail and handy person jobs are typical and we are not scared to accept responsibility and other chores as agreed. We are clean and tidy, respect people's property and work to leave a property in same or better condition.
Nick and Desley are grey nomads, originally from Qld, travelling Australia in our van. Our experience includes house sitting, farm/property sitting, caretaking and hosting bush camps. We've looked after horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, cats, chooks, poddy calves, checking water and fences etc and gardens. Also experience with looking after accommodation bookings and cabin and camp sites. We promise to respect your property and treat it as our own. We can supply referees and police checks and full resumes. We have no pets and are non-smokers. Currently looking for property sits SA and WA.
It’s a real privilege to look after someone’s home and we will respect that responsibility by being energetic and reliable in the care of your house and garden. We will follow through on the tasks you inform us of before you leave. Our aim is for you to depart relaxed and return happy. Hope to be able to help you soon – we can be flexible with our travel dates. We have recently listed our own on this site for house sitters, and have a caravan we are happy to stay in when house sitting if required. We are a very reliable couple and enjoy travelling. We will be in Tasmania early February for three months. (flexible) and would love to house sit and explore the area.

2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND 5-STAR REFERENCES FROM 7 SITS WITH 8 DOGS & 4 CATSWe are are Veronika (30) and Ladislav (32), a couple of animal lovers and experienced sitters (we can provide 7 verified references). We come from the Czech Republic, but for the past two years we've been traveling the world and house sitting while working online from wherever we are.We are responsible, non-smokers and definitely not party people. In our free time, we enjoy being outside, keeping ourselves fit by walking, running, hiking and cycling, Veronika is also practising yoga. When we are tired from sports, we like to relax by reading a good book.ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE:We both come from families of animal lovers which naturally transferred over us – Veronika grew up with 2 dogs, a very clever crossbreed saved from the street, and a big black Labrador. Ladislav, on the other hand, is the "cat person" in the relationship as his family has always had cats (all of them with funny names like „Ozzy“ after Ozzy Osborne or „Spock“ after the Star Trek character :-)). During our previous house sits we took care of eight lovely dogs, four cats and one rabbit. We think that animals, as well as humans, need to feel that they are loved - and that is something we can promise we can deliver. As we both like being active, we welcome all energetic dogs that can show us around and give us yet another reason for that long walk, hike or run. We can send you the references from our past sit on request, the page does not allow us to upload it or add a link. CONSTANT COMPANY FOR YOUR FURRY FRIENDS, SECURITY FOR YOUR HOUSEWe both work from home (Veronika in online marketing and Ladislav in IT), which means we will keep your furry friends company for most of the day so that they don't have the time to miss you - and you don't have to worry about the security of the house, either. KEEPING THE HOUSE, POOL AND GARDEN IN ORDERIn our previous sits we took care of watering the plants, mowing the lawn and maintaining the pool. We also don't mind light garden work provided there is an instruction session beforehand - we want to make sure we don't mistake your favorite plant for bothersome weed!OUR AVAILABILITYCurrently we are available for sits in WA, NT, QLD, NSW and TAS from September 6 to December 5 and alternatively from Jan 7 on (we have a month long sit scheduled in Torquay, VIC, commencing on December 7 and ending on Jan 6). We prefer sits that are at least 2 weeks long, within proximity of public transportation or with car provided. The only thing we really need a reliable wifi connection :) Thank you for your time reading our application and we look forward to hearing from you!

My name is Kaz, and I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I am 66 years old, non smoker, and love animals - particularly dogs. My last 4 legged companion (Tigger - a retired Greyhound) passed away several years ago. His passing (at the ripe old age of 14) meant I could take on new ventures.I love new places, and looking after furry kids - fishy, feathered kids if necessary!!Having worked in extremely remote communities over a 10 year period, I am organised and adaptable, and would look after your home and pets as I would my own. Up until late 2014, I owned my own home. I sold, in preparation to moving to country NSW in November of 2016. I have been permanently housesitting since 2012. In March of 2014, I closed my landline crystal and mineral business, and moved to selling online. Which means that I work from home. I have my own internet connection, and chose Telstra as my provider, as their coverage is (generally!!) greater.I am happy to provide details of referees. I have regular clients, and house/pet sit for some of them several times per year....Some feedback from clients:"It is always reassuring to know the dogs can be at home rather than in kennels We were able to enjoy planning the trip and then eventually being away with your great service. The dogs were well cared for and obviously enjoyed your presence very much so we are happy too!! No problem if you use these comments". Joe and Anne, Perth, WA"We were very happy with Kaz. Fergie is a rather strong and dominant rescue dog with a few problems such as separation anxiety and we came back to find her actually better than when we left! So much so, that I have asked Kaz to meet up for a walk with the dog so I can learn from how she handles her! For the first time ever, our cat had not pined and lost weight. The house was neat and tidy and Kaz had go above and beyond in every respect." Carol and Punch, Perth, WA.Referee's contact details available on request.

Annette and I left Sydney 8 years ago and worked as volunteer Rangers in the N.T. and assistant teachers in an aboriginal school. Then we house-sat twice in Swan Hill and while Annette completed a Masters in Medical Science looked after 3 properties in Tasmania. We looked after 4 properties on Kangaroo Island minding a vineyard/farm (finch, dog, 73 cattle, 1 poddy-calf; we love animals) until March 2015. We then moved to Western Australia where we have cared for another 7 places, 6 of them with farm or domestic animals, taking us through until early-May 2018. We are now committed until September 2018, after which another sit, particularly in the south-west, would be wonderful.Non-smokers, we are active, love the outdoors, bushwalk, jog, participate in flora & fauna surveys, swim but we also enjoy reading, theatre and cinema. We have police clearances and recent references, which we are only too happy to supply. The house that we still own in Sydney is rented out and, as owners, we have an awareness of the property situation from that perspective. We can guarantee that that any house, animal and/or grounds that we mind will be looked after with the utmost attention, respect and care. Thank you.
Hello. I am a professional writer and senior administrator, an animal lover and experienced housesitter. As someone who owns their own (small) cottage - currently rented - I know what a big thing it is to entrust someone with your home. I enjoy getting to know new animals and places and hope to be able to help you with your house and pet sitting needs soon. Have a lovely day.
