We're 2 young students who house sit to have independence without having to scrape by with rent whilst studying. We are quiet and sensible students who both adore animals and are quite active. We are happy with both short and long term sits, and ANY kind of animal (seriously- between us we've had dogs, cats, fish, chickens, galahs, ferrets, frogs, guinea pigs, plus Josh has farming family and is experienced with farm animals). Feel free to message through any questions :)

Hi I am a single, mature female. This is a time of exploration for me, I work as a casual, agency, theatre nurse, a job that can take me all around Australia. My children are grown and I am free to enjoy different places and people. I have always had animals and love nothing more than the unconditional love they bring to life. I am vegetarian, I neither smoke nor drink and I have practiced and taught yoga and meditation for the past 30 years.
I look forward to the opportunity to house sit for you,

We are experienced house-sitters, who are taking a sabbatical from work (Stuart from Save the Children & Dianne from Gartner). We have relocated back to Australia from the UK, and are continuing our house-sitting adventure in this beautiful country. Stuart is an Australian/British dual-citizen and Dianne is Dutch, with Australian Permanent Residency.

We are mature and reliable individuals, who own properties in the UK and Australia. We have completed many house-sits and we're delighted to have received great references for these. Our experience includes providing medicine to cats, and handling veterinary emergencies, as well as looking after dogs, chickens, birds and other small pets. We will follow any specific requirements you have, such as grooming your pets, keeping them indoors when required and any specific needs for your home.

You can be sure that we'll look after your beloved furry friends and your home, as if they were our own.

We have many five-star reviews for our house sitting on TrustedHousesitters - you can view our profile and reviews at the following site: - We also have detailed references and UK & Australian police-checks, so you can be assured of your home and your pet's safety and security by selecting us as your next house-sitters.

Spencer & Kerry

  • Hunter Valley, North Coast, Darwin, Brisbane, South Eastern, Central Coast (Qld), Northern QLD, Western QLD, TAS, Perth, Northern, S. West

Hi, We are a couple 67 and 60. We have just retired and have already done a number of house sits on Magnetic island and in the Brisbane area. We have enjoyed it immensely, we now would like to get more into house sitting to see more of this wonderful country. Our house sitting preference at this time would be Queensland or Northern NSW, however we are looking at all states.
We have lived in our own house in Coffs Harbour for 40 years. We are a very stable couple who pride ourselves on looking after other peoples houses and animals the same as we look after our own.
Although we have not had any dogs or cats at home we do have quite a bit of experience with animals, looking after many different kinds during the house sitting jobs that we have previously done. Spencer has also worked at an animal park for 40 years.
We have bred birds as a hobby for the last 10 years.
We are sure your house and animals would be in good hands with us looking after it while you are away.
We are both non-smokers and enjoy the outdoors. References are available.
Please call us to discuss any needs you may have.

Lorraine & Terry

It’s a real privilege to look after someone’s home and we will respect that responsibility by being energetic and reliable in the care of your house and garden. We are non-smokers/drinkers and are in good health.

We have cared for many cats & dogs on various house sits and have excellent references and National Police Clearances.

We will follow through on the tasks you inform us of before you leave. Our aim is for you to depart relaxed and return happy. Hope to be able to help you soon – we can be flexible with our travel dates.
We have recently listed our own on this site for house sitters, and have a caravan we are happy to stay in when house sitting if required.
We are a very reliable couple and enjoy travelling. We will be in Tasmania early February for three months. (flexible) and would love to house sit and explore the area.

I would be very interested in house sitting for you while you are away from home.

I am a non smoking professional person who works fulltime with no children or pets. Having house sat continuously in the Canberra vicinity since Christmas 2006, I have a reputation as a trusted and reliable house sitter.

Being from a farm, I am very used to caring for animals large and small. I particularly enjoy walking dogs.

Please be assured that I would look after your home, pets and garden as if they were my own.

Happy to provide references if required.

We are travelling around Australia with our 2 kids who are 11 and 12. We would love the opportunity to mind someone's home. We are leaving at the end of July and will be gone a year starting with going through cooper pedy, Alice springs and Darwin and around WA and back in Adelaide around Christmas and then heading off to Tasmania and up the east coast.
Our kids are respectful and would also treat your home well. Looking forward to opportunities!! We are clean, tidy and we don't smoke or drink alcohol. We live a clean and healthy lifestyle and love animals.

  • ACT, NSW, Alice Springs, Darwin, QLD, SA, TAS

My name is Kaz, and I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I am 66 years old, non smoker, and love animals - particularly dogs. My last 4 legged companion (Tigger - a retired Greyhound) passed away several years ago. His passing (at the ripe old age of 14) meant I could take on new ventures.

I love new places, and looking after furry kids - fishy, feathered kids if necessary!!

Having worked in extremely remote communities over a 10 year period, I am organised and adaptable, and would look after your home and pets as I would my own. Up until late 2014, I owned my own home. I sold, in preparation to moving to country NSW in November of 2016. I have been permanently housesitting since 2012.

In March of 2014, I closed my landline crystal and mineral business, and moved to selling online. Which means that I work from home. I have my own internet connection, and chose Telstra as my provider, as their coverage is (generally!!) greater.

I am happy to provide details of referees. I have regular clients, and house/pet sit for some of them several times per year....

Some feedback from clients:

"It is always reassuring to know the dogs can be at home rather than in kennels We were able to enjoy planning the trip and then eventually being away with your great service. The dogs were well cared for and obviously enjoyed your presence very much so we are happy too!! No problem if you use these comments". Joe and Anne, Perth, WA

"We were very happy with Kaz. Fergie is a rather strong and dominant rescue dog with a few problems such as separation anxiety and we came back to find her actually better than when we left! So much so, that I have asked Kaz to meet up for a walk with the dog so I can learn from how she handles her!

For the first time ever, our cat had not pined and lost weight. The house was neat and tidy and Kaz had go above and beyond in every respect." Carol and Punch, Perth, WA.

Referee's contact details available on request.

Linda Lee & Steven David

  • Sydney, Alice Springs, Darwin

Steve is a freelance nature photographer and I am a freelance nature & outdoor travel writer. We spend most of our time roaming Australia taking photos and writing articles, and from time to time we like to take a break to catch up on work and to spend time in one place caring for animals and/or tending to a home and garden. We are both animal-lovers, and the only drawback to our lifestyle is that we can't have pets. Steve was previously a primary and middle school teacher in a number of schools in the Melbourne area. I was a child-therapist many moons ago before becoming a full-time freelance writer. We are both originally from the United States but we are now proud Australia citizens (a process that included police background checks). We will care for your animals, and your home and garden, as if it were our own. Please visit our website at Natural Wanders for more information on our work and our background. You may also want to visit our Pet & House Sitting Facebook page at
-We are a non-smoking, vegetarian, married couple who will keep your home tidy and clean and your pets happy and safe.
-We work from 'home', in this case your home, so we would not be leaving your animals for long periods during the day.
-We would not invite others to your home, and aside from a glass of wine or a beer with dinner, we don't drink.
-We have respect for the privacy and property of others: simply close the doors of (or advise us of) rooms you do not want us to go in and we won't!
-Once we accept a housesit, we do not back out unless there is a dire emergency. Please email us if you have any questions. Thank you.
*For your protection, we are email, phone & address certified, identity verified via document check, letters of recommendation. We had police checks when we went through the process of becoming Australian citizens.

  • Alice Springs, Brisbane, South Eastern, Central

My children have all flown the coop and after years of love my pets have all grown old and sadly for me, passed on. I have been house sitting FT since the end of 2016.

I love gardening, pets and living an organic healthy lifestyle. Until I am ready to settle down again I would love to help you look after your home, garden and pets.

I have just given up FT work and am moving to the Bribie area with the intention of helping to look after my elderly parents.

Police check and references from previous sits are attached.

Ask any questions you want, I am happy to answer :)

We are a young 20/21 year old travelling couple from the U.K, exploring Australia; looking to live like locals. We are polite, tidy and clean people who intend to treat your home like our own and leave your house exactly the way you left it. We both love animals, with experience in owning dogs, cats, horses, geckos, fish, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens ( Becky has also previously helped/grew up on farms in the UK so has experience in handling sheep and cows, also she has experience of hand raising lambs, puppies and kittens from birth). Becky's mum was a vet so she has picked up some tips and knowledge over the years in terms of animals health and wellbeing, so you can be sure your furry friends will be safe and loved whilst they are in our care.

We are an active couple who love going to the gym and going on long walks with our dog, Molly, back at home in England. I especially enjoy taking her along for bike rides through local forests, fields and parks.

We have both previously house and pet sitted in England so know what is expected of us in terms of house sitting. I have previously worked as a gardener for 4 years, along side my normal job, so am handy with a mower if required!

We both have had police checks (CRB) done in the U.K numerous times for previous employment working with children.

We are a non-smoking couple.

If you would like anymore information on us please do not hesitate to message us!

I love animals, am considerate, quiet and very reliable. Love to roam and take pictures and feel at home in both urban and country environments.

I have been running Airbnb properties for the past seven years, mostly as a 'superhost' so am clean and responsible around the house, and enjoy meeting new people from everywhere.

House sitting is new to me but care of animals and gardens is not. I have experience with most animals including dogs, cats, horses and wilderness wildlife.

I am hoping to find a long term house sit, but will consider short sits if I am in the area.

Wendy & Brian

  • Darwin, Sunshine Coast, Central Coast (Qld), Northern QLD, Northern

Wendy and Brian are a recently retired couple who are driving the full circle in 2017.
We attempted this several years ago but after two years in WA housesitting in the Bunbury area (several repeat housesits),
in Mandurah, Denmark and in Perth we came home to Victoria for family commitments (wedding).
We then went north to Queensland and spent twelve months in housesits in Warwick, Toowoomba and Mackay.
In October 2016, we looked after a house in Bunbury WA (we flew over from Vic) where we
caught up with our favourite dog Zoe (we have looked after her numerous times) and two cats.
It was great to get back into housesitting in WA again.
In 2017 we completed the full lap via Broome Darwin and Mt Isa then south to home in Bendigo.
Our plans for 2018 are to head north from Victoria after Easter and would love enquiries from anyone in Queensland who would like
their loved pets and homes cared for during their absence. We will be in Queensland for May, June and July 2018.
We now have a confirmed open housesit north of Port Douglas to fit in with any other sits we may be able to assist with.
As we will be staying in cabins in caravan parks for our trip we have no need for special parking space for a van.
We are an active, outdoor loving ,NS, houseproud couple who value and respect others' property and privacy.
We enjoy gardening and can ensure you that your pets will be given the love and attention that they are used to.
We can supply names of referees from our repeat housesits, can provide current police checks and we are prepared to pay a bond if required.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like further details, we will gladly return a call if your email contains a phone number.

Natalie & Jodie

  • Canberra, Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter Valley, North Coast, Alice Springs, Darwin, Brisbane, South Eastern, Central Coast (Qld), Adelaide, Mid North, West Coast, TAS, VIC, WA

Hi there! We are an Aussie female couple. Nat is an ex-Australian Federal Police Agent and Jodie an Ex-Resort & Accommodation Manager.

Now aged in our late 40's we have been happily moving around the world as FULL-TIME PET & HOUSE SITTERS since early 2013.

Our references from over 40 home owners who we have loved sitting for, sometimes many times over during the last 5 years, are attached to this profile as individual documents from each year (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). We can also provide phone and contact details for verbal references if you prefer.

A bit about us...

Natalie enjoyed a 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police, and Jodie has over 20 years experience in hotel and resort management, tourism and hospitality throughout Australia. We bring this knowledge, care and responsibility to your home.

To say we love house sitting is an understatement. As natural teachers, we have spent the last few years helping others get started as confident and caring house sitters through our online course, the 'House Sitting Academy' and our own private network of quality sitters.

This work does involve us needing reliable internet on any house sit we take on.

Since the majority of our time is spent working online, we would spend most of our days and nights at home with your pet/s.

For more information about us, including all our references and projects, please visit our personal site at www(dot)NatnJodie(dot)com.

We always love meeting with home owners through Skype video so we can make a personal connection with you and your pets, and feel into whether we are the perfect match for each other.

We are a vibrant & active couple who love animals & nature, connection and learning about new cultures and people. We bring our vitality to your pets and property, to spend quality time with your animals each day, giving them the same love & care we have given to our own pets since we were young, and to care for your property.

Nat's 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police (certificate available on request) was spent largely in VIP Protection looking after the Australian Prime Minister, overseas Heads of Government, and various royal families, and a further 6 months in East Timor serving with the United Nations.

Jodie has over 20 years tourism and hospitality experience, managing and maintaining various sized properties and Resorts all over Australia.

We have both grown up with many pets in our lives since very young (including a many varieties of dogs, birds, Diamond Pythons, and tropical & freshwater fish) so having pets and looking after them is second nature to us; In fact it is strange not to have pets in our lives. We now always choose house sits with pets where we can.

Between us we have done over 40 house & pet sits over many years in various countries, which has taken us from extremely remote rural properties, to snow environments, tropical jungles, the inner city, suburban and smaller village life.

Along our journey we have also had to deal with extremes of climates and environments, from humid rainy season jungles, hurricane season in the Caribbean, sub-zero snow conditions in a number of Canadian & US winters, to living at altitude (3000+ meters), and are equally comfortable in all.

We have also been involved in the professional training of several dogs we have minded.

Due to Jodie's background, some of our assignments have included the management of in-house staff, B&B's and holiday Gites (self contained) for which we have been paid. Outside of such assignments however, we DO NOT charge for our house sitting, instead being massive advocates of the fair exchange aspect of house sitting and the ‘Sharing Economy’.

Over the years we have both owned our own homes as well as multiple investment properties between us.

As such we are well used to:
• Caring for and maintaining property
• Chlorine and salt water pools
• Jacuzzis
• Indoor and outdoor plants, gardens, lawns, greenhouses and vegetable gardens
• The responsibility for the general running of a household

We both appreciate the importance and value of owning a home, possessions and pets.

With our Federal Police & Resort Management backgrounds, security & privacy is of utmost importance for us, and we fully appreciate it is for you as a home owner providing your home & possessions for house sitting. You can be completely assured your home and assets will be completely secure and maintained with us. Natalie held an Australian ‘Top Secret’ security clearance for many years in her Federal Police VIP Protection work.

Simply put, this is our life & our livelihood!

Our internet based education business has enabled us to break free of any fixed location for work & allowed us to live a full-time 'digital nomadic' lifestyle since early 2013... a lifelong dream for both of us!

97% of our time has been spent house sitting since we left our previous fixed location of Dubai in 2013, and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. To us, experiencing back-to-back house sits with absolute ease since we started really shows us that we living our heartfelt purpose... and it certainly feels that way.

We envisage living this lifestyle for many years to come, especially since sharing house sitting experiences and tips to inspire others to experience it, has now become the focal point of our business itself.

House sitting is an incredible lifestyle for us, combining so many things we love. We absolutely adore the company of animals to break up our work life and enrich our experience, and enjoy constantly experiencing different locations & people of the world.

Ultimately, we find ourselves at this stage of our lives really desiring to not just travel, but live for periods in different locations around the world for our own enriching experiences and to also facilitate our business ventures.

Thankyou for taking the time to read our profile. We really look forward to connecting with you & seeing if we are the perfect match for each other.

Nat & Jodie

Josephine & Ross

  • NSW, Darwin, QLD, TAS, VIC, WA

Update!!! Ross needs a new hip so we had to advise all our pet sits we couldn't sit for them this year. Better to pull out now while they still have loads of time to get new sitters than mid way though a sit. We love what we do! We will be back in action ASAP so watch this space!
Hi, my husband and I are recently retired teachers 62 and 63 who have lived and worked in the same area for 35 years. Of course as teachers we had regular police checks and we can also provide lots of references. After retirement we went to Canada, Hawaii, Far North Queensland and Tasmania. Yes we have caught the travel bug! We also had sits in Queensland, NSW and Tassie and would love a sit in NT, SA, and WA!!
We are friendly, reliable and caring and now that we are retired, our children have grown up and our beloved pets passed away we are rattling around our house with time on our hands. We love animals and always look after all our friends and neighbours pets, houses, gardens and mail when they are away. One of them suggested pet and house sitting as it involves travelling, animals and gardening! As a retired couple we are available for any length of time and we can plan to house sit everywhere in Australia for the next 12 to 24 months after which time we hope our children will provide us with grandchildren to spoil. As my husband Ross is a very keen fisherman we try for locations close to good fishing areas and he takes his fishing boat.
We will take meticulous care of your house, mail, indoor plants, veggie gardens and lovingly look after dogs, cats, birds, fish, chooks, rabbits and guinea pigs. We are more than happy to be in touch with you prior to the pet and house sit and we can also give you updates during your trip so get in touch with us any time to discuss your needs and travel dates as we will try to accommodate our time to suit your needs.
We prefer the northern areas of Australia during the winter months and escaping the cold Victorian winters. Ross is a keen fisherman and gardener, I adore reading and writing and tend to be more of a home body and we both really enjoy seeing new sights and meeting new people. You can leave knowing we will take extremely good care of your pets, house and garden and while you’re away. Ross and I are looking forward to getting to know you and giving your pets our love and attention. Prior to handover we would prefer a written list of your requirements and instructions and of course contact details such as your mobile number and email address. We know the importance of trust in this relationship and can assure you of our honesty and love of animals, in fact we've found the hardest part of pet sitting is saying goodbye to the pets because we grow so fond of them. Luckily for us we have lots of repeat house sits which makes us very happy.

Hello, I'm Jessica and I'm happy that you've visited my page.

Some basic facts about me: I am a 30 year old, non-smoking, responsible person who is really excited about this idea of mutual exchange. Originally from the US, California, but currently exploring Australia. I am on the lookout for house sits that range from a week to a month plus.
Currently based in Sydney, so ideally looking around the general area. I do not have a car, so being close to public transit is important to me.

My lifestyle is pretty relaxed. I am in the process of launching a Virtual Assistant career, so I am at home doing things on the computer a lot. Of course its not all work and as much as I can I get out to enjoy all that Sydney has to offer. I am a clean person. You can be assured that I will be respectful of your space and keep your home clean.

What makes me a standout sitter?
As I mentioned I am very responsible. Having previous experience both house and pet sitting, I understand the importance of maintaining routines for your furry loved ones while you're away. I do not mind tending to other house matters as well during the stay such as watering plants, collecting mail and making sure the house is kept tidy. Of course, if there is anything else you would need done while you're away, I am flexible to help elsewhere where I can.

I also am happy to stay in as much or little contact as you're comfortable with. Want photo updates daily - no problem! Every pet/home owner is different but for me, it's important that you feel comfortable and confident during our agreed upon stay.

I am happy to speak via Skype, Google voice or whatsapp, before/during/after the house sit.

Outside of my love of animals and travel I have worked at a bank, taught English in Spain at elementary schools & summer camps and most currently pursing my passion to work with people in the hotel industry being the face of the hotel in reception.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Ian & Annie

  • Northern Rivers, Tweed Coast, Alice Springs, South Eastern

We're two young and fit retirees who are travelling around Australia on a permanent basis in our little caravan. We're planning to be mostly out bush because we enjoy bird watching, but will sometimes be coming into towns and cities and would love to look after a home for a while. We've rented our house out, so we know how important it is to have someone you can trust to look after your home! Gardening is something we enjoy, so caring for one would be fine.

For many years we owned two very spoiled cats and although we have never owned a dog we'd be happy to look after a small one. We've house sat a small dog, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chooks. Birds, pet mice, gerbils, small reptiles etc. are all ok. We wouldn't be suitable for large dogs or horses.

We can supply references from housesits we've done previously through happy housesitters if required.

We're currently looking for a house sit northern NSW or SW QLD for Nov-Dec 2017 (not Christmas-New Year) We know this is a long way off but we're planning ahead!

  • ACT, South Coast, Southern Highlands, Far South West, Snowy MTS, Alice Springs, Darwin, Adelaide, Far North, Mid North, South, TAS

We are a mature couple (58 and 62) and are both retired. We'd be very happy to come and look after your home while you are away and would treat your home and pets as we do ours, with all care. My husband Graeme and I are both active with plenty of bush walking and sailing and have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs and even smaller critters. I'm comfortable with farm animals and can ride a horse. I enjoy the garden and would be very happy pottering around, watering, mowing, sweeping - whatever.
Ive recently completed a Certificate in Animal Care through TAFE and Graeme is currently studying for his PhD spending a lot of time working on that. We have a home on the northern beaches of Sydney. Our neighbours are knocking down and rebuilding their home so we will be renting our home to them for the duration, leaving our dogs with them and hope, expect, to be travelling / house sitting for a year. We have done some house sitting already with return visits (or requests to return) and can supply references should you want them. We would be very happy to care for your home and animals and hope that you contact us if you think we're suitable. Thanks
Ps I'm also a JP

We are two retired guys who own a house in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and are renting it out for a year or so to drive around Australia.
We would love to house and/or pet sit for other people on the way while they enjoy their time away.
We have rented houses around NSW and Qld and have always treated them as if they were our own as is testament by the excellent references we have been given by the Property managers, and this is the way we would look after any properties that we are lucky enough to sit.
We have had extensive experience with both domestic animals...cats, dogs, birds etc. after having owned all of these at some of which is shown in the pic I have well as farm animals whilst owning acreage in NSW and Qld.
We are both extremely clean & tidy people, non smokers and like to ride push bikes, play tennis and go to sporting events like AFL, Rugby League, tennis etc.

  • Alice Springs, Darwin, Brisbane, Central Coast (Qld), Northern QLD

Hi, we are semi-retired professional, non-smokers and animal lovers. We have always lived with cats and dogs and I currently have 2 horses. We house sat for 6 months during renovations to our house in Sydney and had return requests, which we gladly accepted even after our house was ready as we had so much fun with the dogs and were missing having a dog in our lives at the time. That experience opened our eyes to the joys of house-sitting, meeting new people and animals and getting to know parts of NSW and beyond that we had never experienced. We are honest, reliable and responsible and appreciate the level of trust placed in us to take care of someone's home and their much loved pets. So far have not been phased by any care requirements, and are experienced with elderly and nervous pets as well as the boisterous and cuddly varieties! Happy to provide references. Up to date police check by my employer (hospital) so no skeletons in the closet!

  • Sydney, Alice Springs, Perth

Hi! I'm friendly, clean, honest, reliable, and I would be happy to look after your home and pets.

I moved to Sydney several years ago to work in a not-for-profit renewable energy advocacy organisation as a community organiser. I loved my job, but it was exhausting, and so I'm taking a long-overdue lengthy break to recharge. So far I've spent this downtime helping people out by house-sitting in a number of places, while also keeping up several hobbies.

I grew up with dogs, walking and feeding them every day, but I've also had experience living with and looking after other pets. I recently completed house-sits in Sale (VIC), Melbourne, Busselton (WA), the Blue Mountains, Glebe, Lane Cove, Waterloo, Epping, a second one in Sale (VIC), and now in Parramatta. Across all of these I've looked after dogs, cats, chickens, gardens, and, of course, the houses themselves. I have some references that I've attached to my profile.

I'm usually an outgoing, active and outdoorsy person, though I'm fairly quiet when at home. I will happily spend my time looking after your house and pets, reading, practising my cello, going bushwalking and going out to spend some time with friends.

I haven't yet applied for a police check, but I'm happy to if you need.

I'm also happy to share with you anything else about me that you'd like to know, and I look forward to meeting you, your home, and your beloved pets.

"Nick looked after our house and dog recently while we were away for 3 weeks. Our dog Radar is not the easiest of pets but Nick did a great job. He took great care of both house and dog and the house was very clean and tidy when we got back, complete with welcome message and chocolates to meet us on our return. We appreciated the fact that Nick kept in touch with us by email which made sure we knew all was well in our absence and which we definitely appreciated. I would definitely highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a reliable and completely trustworthy person to housesit." -- Vicky, Lane Cove, NSW.

"Nick has proved reliable, punctual, courteous and clean. We left him with 2 pets, a self reliant cat and a demanding dog.+ house for 3 weeks. Nick kept us upto date with the two and we were able to relax while we felt all was under control. Nick comes highly recommended from both my wife and I." -- Bevin, Epping, NSW.

I'm an experienced house sitter and have been house sitting full time now for over 18 months and prior to that at various short term house sits for a couple of years. I have experience with many dogs, small and large and up to 3 at a time, cats, chickens and birds. I enjoy walking the dogs and happy to walk them every day, if required, have also been known to have to walk a cat as well! I have also house sat where I have had to look after a pool and spa and watering of gardens. I also consider myself to be a clean freak and will return your home in the same condition that it was when you left and will look after it as though it was my own. In recent years I have been lucky to do an apartment sit in Hiroshima Japan, and a couple of house sits in NZ. I am a non-smoker and am single and have no pets. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
I have now just completed 6 months of house/dog sitting in Perth Western Australia and Darwin for 2 months and enjoyed every minute of it. I am now heading back south to the Sunshine Coast to where I usually live until the New Year. If you are looking for a house sitter while you have a break over Christmas/new year or school holidays I would love to look after your house and/or pets as though they were my own.

Hi there my name is brooke I am an 18 year old Australian female. I have been traveling around the Eastern side of Australia for the past 8 months or so and have had the opportunity to house sit near Manly recently. I really enjoyed this opportunity looking after two cats and the house itself, I am quite an adventurous person when it comes to going for walks or checking out the area I'm in but I'm not interested in nightlife type things so I can assure that your place will be looked after and someone will be there at night. I grew up on property and had lots of animals so I have always enjoyed the company of the little companions and look forward to having more opportunities like this.

Hi there!

My name is Nikki, I'm a 28 year old female from Scotland and I am studying my Masters in Landscape Architecture. I came to Melbourne in July 2017 to study and I will be staying in Australia until my final year of uni starts in Scotland in September 2018. My next semester starts in January but it is distance learning, so I will just be studying from home and don't have to attend uni which is why I thought about house-sitting. I've been renting an apartment in the CBD since I arrived but since I spend most of my time studying in the house anyway it would be nice to have a furry friend to keep me company and I would also get to see other parts of Melbourne.

Unfortunately at this point in my life I can't have a pet of my own because of university and travelling but I love all kinds of animals and I'm especially experienced in taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and bearded dragons. The beautiful miniature pinscher you see in my pictures is called Benji, my friend saved him from a breeder who obviously didn't care about the wellbeing of her puppies and as a result he developed some behavioural problems and was aggressive and possessive. I offered to foster him for her until he was ready to be around other dogs and as you can see with a little training and a lot of love he turned into the perfect little gentleman and can't get enough of cuddling on the couch.

I worked as an in-home carer for disabled adults whilst at home in Britain, therefor I have been extensively police checked and received specialist training and have certificates that confirm I am legally entrusted with the care of the most vulnerable people in society. I conducted personal care for severely disabled individuals and took them out for activities and assisted with general day to day living like shopping, preparing food, doing chores and I also maintained their homes for them so I am experienced with house cleaning. If you are interested in my references I will provide you with contact details for my previous employer who can verify my police check, that I worked there for over a year (the only reason I reluctantly left the job was because I was coming here to study) and that I am trustworthy and have the experience necessary to care for your house and pets. You also know that I couldn't have a criminal record or I would not have been granted a Visa or entry into Australia and I will provide you with photocopies of my drivers licence (full, manual and clean) and passport so you have my personal details.

I'm more than happy to send you daily pictures or video calls so you can see that your pet is being treated with the love and attention they deserve. I don't drink or smoke, I am a clean and quiet lodger and will provide a reference from my current landlord (who lives in the property with me) to confirm this. I am happy to meet you prior to making any house sitting plans so you can decide if I'm a good fit. I am a warm, compassionate person just looking fsor a furry companion to keep me company during my studies, I'm looking for longer house sits preferably around a month so I can see different parts of Australia but not have to move around too often. I'm happy to sign a contract with agreed terms and will even provide you with a bond to ensure your peace of mind.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Sue & Shaun

We have had dogs and chooks and love all animals.
