Hello
Looking to run as far as possible from the impending Melbourne Winter.
I have an active profile on Madpaws and many happy clients, so if pets need to be looked after, I am more than happy to live with them. Please view my Madpaws profile here:
https://www.madpaws.com.au/petsitter/ormond-vic/michelle-l-extra-care-and-love-for-your-pets

I am a tidy woman, will have my own car (not a camper van) and own my own apartment in Melbourne, so am responsible and trustworthy (according to the bank :-)) I also have a profile on Airbnb which you might like to visit:
https://www.airbnb.com.au/users/show/176505901

Heading to Queensland I would be looking for work in the fitness and health industry. Have worked as a Yoga Instructor in Melbourne for over 12yrs and hope to find similar work in Queensland. Ideally the property would be close to either a yoga studio or fitness centre

Feel free to ask any questions

We are a 'senior' couple (non-smokers) and have recently moved to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland area after having sold our rural property in Tasmania late last year.

In 2017 we became "professional house sitters" and enjoyed the experience very much. However we made the decision to become home owners again late 2017, but this does not mean we have "retired" and will always consider any suitable situations.

We would particularly be interested in discussing our suitability for your needs if you live in the Sydney Northern/Eastern suburbs, Melbourne City suburbs or far North Queensland.

We are practical people and have mostly lived on small acreage properties in Tasmania. We've enjoyed the company of many pets over the years including 2 cats, 2 dogs, a pet sheep, 2 goats (so not 'pet'!) and chickens.

We have had work experience related to housesitting placements when we worked on a remote Pilbara island, and in Coral Bay, WA. Doug was responsible for pool maintenance and general groundsman work, and I did housekeeping duties - and kitchen hand! It was a great experience living on a remote island, and fairly challenging coping with a Pilbara summer. We have also worked in a remote Aboriginal Community in the N.T. Doug was the Essential Services Operator and I looked after the Creche in the morning before changing hats to be the Centrelink Agent/general office admin. person in the afternoon. It was another wonderful opportunity and gave us an insight into the lives of Australia's indigenous people.

During 2017 (our 'gap year') we had the pleasure of meeting several home owners and their pets, and now have experience with managing big, bouncy dogs to the little feisty ones, chooks and cattle.
We can supply excellent references with one home owner declaring we would win a house sitter of the year award - if there was one!
We fully appreciate that making the decision to have people you don't know come to your home and care for your pets, garden and house may be a difficult one. We would like to assure you we would take the time to listen to what is required for your 'loved ones' to remain happy in their home, and would promise to care and respect your property as if it was our own. We are honest and reliable people!

Most recently we had police checks done, which is a requirement for people working for the Australian Electoral Commission in OIC roles at State and Federal Elections, and this we have done on many occasions. We are in the process of obtaining our own police checks. Also police checks were done when working in the N.T. and when I did volunteer work for Vinnies (Airlie Beach) and The Red Cross (South Perth).

Our interests are travel, music (member of a Community Band) quilting, gardening, walking and baking. I love to discover new speciality shops, delis, etc. We enjoy concerts and the theatre.

Below are two references, contact details could be supplied once you have made contact with us, and as we receive new ones we will add them as well.

Thanks for taking the time to read our profile, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Thérèse and Doug Boote.

We are a retired couple who spend a lot of time travelling both domestically and internationally. We also use our caravan around Tasmania. We live in a seaside suburb just south of Hobart and we have a 2 storey house with well maintained gardens and we are both very house proud. We have had dogs and birds in the past but due to our frequent travelling we don’t have any pets at the moment.
I worked with Tasmania Police for 27 years and can provide a Police clearance if required. Jenny worked with the Health Department for 22 years.
We welcome the opportunity to look after your house and pets if required.

Hello wonderful house owners!

We are Matt & Yve :)

married professional couple in our early 30's, no children,
We prioritise fitness and health into our lifestyles, Our main activities are to cycle, swim, yoga, but most of all we love dog walks.

Our ideal weekend is relaxing and enjoying down time surrounded by fury and feathered friends.

Our main reason for house sitting is to conserve our funds and eventually be able to buy. We are fortunate enough to be able to be able stay with family and friends in between house sits who have maintainance and pets that we take care of from time to time.

We both love and have experience with all types of pets. My favorite piece of feedback that I've received so far is that I am a dog whisperer and can connect with most animals, even difficult ones, Yve has a gentle connection with cats and ferrets!

We are happy travelers and have much respect for the homes we have the pleasure of staying in and our surroundings.

Yve is Australian and I'm from London originally with a permanent visa for Australia, We are excited to explore anywhere our journey takes us! fortunately we work in flexiblie industries that allows us to travel and experience change.

Previously house sat for friends and family in England, Ireland and Australia and loved exploring the experience. :)
We can provide references as well as police clearance upon request.

clean, tidy and pro-active, We treat a home and it’s invitation like it was our own special space and We understand that every pets have different needs, every house has different requirements and instructions to discuss in person.

We are available as of July.

Look forward to hearing from you.

I am an and Educator and published children's Author since September 2015. (you can view my website at www.andrewgholt.com if interested) I was working full time as a teacher ( remote NT) these last 16 months till Easter which gave me time to completer the second book . Prior to that I lived on the Sunshine coast . From Easter 2019 I will return and run workshops for children on weekends and in the holidays whilst relief teaching. Reief teaching gives me more flexibility to work on the next book project, plus spend time with your animals too.
I am looking for a place to sit whilst writing some more and attending local markets on my way back up to the sunshine coast.
I have house sat before and as recent as September 2016 at Tanawha and October 2015 and then before in 2013 in Twin Waters.
I enjoy looking after animals and love spending time with them. I treat them as my own under the quidelines of each owner of course.
I am tidy neat and quiet. I enjoy the opportunity to practice yoga and became a qualified teacher in 2015 in Canada. I love bushwalking , reading about education and working on promoting the books I have published and writing draughts for future books. I am able to supply references if need so.
I have had a farm background as a child/teenager and have always had animals in my youth. My extensive travel as a teacher these last few years prevents me from having my own, so I would love the opportunity to look after yours.
I look forward to connecting if you feel I would be the right match. Any questions happy to chat.
Andrew

I am a single female (non-smoker) employed in education (part-time). During some semesters and during semester breaks I work at home and other times I work one day per week for a few hours. That means I am at home to care for your pets full time or away only a partial day so I would be at home to care for your pets. As well, I have over two years experience with house sitting, where my experience includes three cats at one sit, three dogs at one house sit, birds, fish and cattle with more than seven references indicating excellent care for both home and pets. My goal is to provide excellence in the care of your pets and home. As well I have a police check. In the past I have had the opportunity to house sit/manage a bed and breakfast, where owners were happy with my work. As well I have been house and pet sitting for over two years and receive excellent recommendations. Additionally, I have both rented and owned a home with positive comments on the care of my home and garden. Pets" I grew up with all types of animals including dogs, cats horses and chickens. Animals seem to know I will care for them and react positively to me. My experience with pets includes obedience training. If you are especially interested in my care of your home, I would say that some of my friends might say that I spend too much time cleaning/organising my home and taking care of my yard-- but I enjoy it. For one home, the neighbors labeled my yard as the best cared for with its green grass (that I grew from almost nothing) and lovely flowers. My past times are simple including walking/jogging, reading, movies/tv, gardening and socialising with friends and family. I enjoy a simple life. You can expect that no parties would be held at your property and my focus will be on caring for your pets/home. Sincerely Maz

We arrived from the States in the 70’s, recruited to teach, and loved it so much we stayed! We are responsible, reliable, non-smokers and will look after your home in the same manner that we have looked after ours.
We have sold our large house (downsizing from 2 hectares to two bedrooms) and are now retired. We are great walkers and love all animals, having had many over the years.
We have house sat in the past (in Ashgrove, Qld. looking after the lovely Lola, two year-old poodle as well as Lucy in Mitchelton and two schnauzers in Fitzgibbon in 2016, 2017 three lovely little dogs in Forest Lake, Gizmo the cat in Carindale and the schnauzers again in Fitzgibbon, all references below). We are happy to be flexible with your dates. We have used house sitters when we have travelled. We understand how invaluable a good house sitter can be. We'd love to look after your precious pets and would treat your house with the respect that we would hope a housesitter would treat ours. Available for Facetime interview if requested. We hope to hear from you at your convenience. Thanks for the opportunity. Mary and Wayne
Police checks, references are available.

Retired from working in aged-care, now embracing house sitting full time to travel and explore Australia.
I enjoy the different environments, the many different pets and the people I meet.. I see this life style as an adventure, always interesting and exciting. I do enjoy exploring the area I stay in but prefer to spend my evenings in the home I am looking after.
I am an active, non-smoking, mature single female. I consider it a privilege to care for your pets, home and garden.
Have owned and loved cats, dogs (including two long haired Chihuahua which lived to the ripe old age of 18), fish, birds and even my daughter's mice.
I live a healthy life style, am reliable, honest, responsible, trustworthy and very tidy. I supply all my own consumables so that you are not inconvenienced.
I will enjoy looking after your pets and home while you are away and ensure that they will be taken care of as you would expect. With love and kindness. To be trusted with someones home and pets is a privilege.. I stick to the routine that the animals are used to and so enjoy their company.
If I can be of assistance, I would love to hear from you.

I have had a number of careers from Cadet Surveyor in Tasmania, a Patrol Officer (Kiap) with the Australian Government in remote outstations in Papua New Guinea, and a career in administration and sales in the Aluminium and Timber Industries in Australia.
I am a retired CPA (Degree in Commerce) and am a JP (Qual) in Queensland. I am a very practical and hands on person and able to take on many tasks.
As owner builders Margaret and I built our two story timber home at Hervey Bay where we lived for 20 years prior to basing ourselves at Agnes Water in Queensland. During our seven years in PNG I was posted to very isolated outstations where I was responsible for most government matters including police, magisterial, treasury and local government affecting the local people of a sub district.
We are quite happy to house sit in areas that are isolated.
Margaret as a retired early childhood teacher has taught in Primary schools in Tasmania, NSW, PNG, ACT and Queensland for the past 42 years. She loves gardening and outdoors.
We have owned swimming pools in Brisbane and Townville and know how to maintain them.
We have had many pets over the years. Our last two dogs were a German Shepherd and a three kg toy poodle who were great mates as we had them at the same time. We do not have pets now.
We have our own self contained off road caravan and could be independent.
We have house and pet minded at the town of Seventeen Seventy (near Agnes Water) on two occasions looking after three large dogs.
We are currently travelling our way around Australia and wish to see and experience as much as we can.
We have a son in Sydney and a daughter at Agnes Water and four grandchildren who we love dearly and visit regularly.
Above all we are friendly, have a good sense of humour, active and enjoy meeting people. You can rest assured that we would look after your property in the best way.

We are an Australian couple in our early 50’s who recently were lucky enough to retire early. We visited Mexico in March 2018 and returned in July 2018 on a semi-permanent basis. We visited Merida, Progresso, Tulum, Mahahual, Oaxaca City, Puerto Escondido and Mexico City, to see were our first port of call would be. We decided on Puerto Escondido and we have been loving the lifestyle and people here.

Prior to our retirement we were in Australia working full time, Dean in private schools in IT and Jeanette is an ex Bank Manager, and more recently a Business Systems Trainer in the Healthcare industry. We have a personal reference from a business / personal associate who has known us for over 30 years and we have taken care of their family pets when required.

Jeanette and I have owned our own homes for over 25 years and will treat yours well. Our family home of 17 years was on the Gold Coast had a large inground pool, and we have renovated 5 homes in both Australia and New Zealand. Dean especially is a handy man and would definitely be able to arrange and supervise any works/repairs on your property.

We are generally home bodies of an evening, so we like to do some site seeing during the day occasionally, but would be home each evening for your pets.

Our medium term plans is to head back to Australia in late November 2019, to visit my parents, children, dogs and extended family.

We look forward to speaking further with you and please let me know if you have further questions about us that we haven’t covered off.

We have two dogs back in Australia who are now homed with our sister (Charlie a chocolate toy poodle and Missy a toy poodle cross) we miss them a lot and have lots of love to give your pets.
Missy is our lap dog so we are very used to giving lots of pats and having her sitting on us for hours at a time. Charlie is high energy ball chasing boy, both our dogs like to have walks and playtime everyday. So getting the opportunity of spending time playing with other pets is something we love.

We are relatively new to house sitting, however we have done several in Mexico including travel to Lake Chapala in August 2018 to house sit for a lady with 2 dogs and have her as a reference available on request. In September 2018 we completed a 3 week house sit in Cuernavaca, caring for 3 dogs and 2 cats. Homeowners are happy to have people contact them for a reference also. Both of these recent sits have been through House Sit Mexico site. Both sits have been great and given us time with great pets and also given us the opportunity to see more of Mexico.
We took a break from housesits from October to March, as this is peak season in Mexico and we had visitors, so spent our time in Puerto Escondido. We have 3 upcoming housesits over April and July 2019, in San Miguel de Allende and Lake Chapala, Chetumal (all beautiful locations in Mexico).

We look forward to hearing from you.

About me:
I am an experienced house and pet sitter that enjoys taking care of pets and seeing new places. I enjoy the opportunity and friendships that house sitting brings. I don’t have my own pets so I really enjoy spending time with the animals while house sitting. I am a trustworthy, responsible, clean and non-smoking Australian male (37). I have a lot of house and pet sitting experience. I am reliable, practical, and easy to get along with. Your pets and home will be extremely well looked after by a capable person. I am a serious house sitter, one that does what they say they will do.

I am currently completing my post graduate studies in Psychology. I have dedicated my career to helping people get through hard times and become the best version of themselves. I am off campus so I study from home and this allows for additional time with the pets and keeping an eye on the house. This is part of why I have decided to do house sitting. The other reason is that I really enjoy it! I enjoy the variety of living in new places and meeting new and interesting people such as you! House sitting provides an enjoyable and adventurous lifestyle for me.
I have a current national police security check. In my work I have gained security clearances at the highest level that have allowed me to work at government sites such as ports, airports, government offices and defence sites which you need to have a clean record to obtain. I hope this indicates to you my trustworthiness. I have my own car and am independent in my style of living.

Pets I have looked after:
I go above and beyond with pet care. I love all types of animals and have looked after almost everything you could find in a backyard. This includes mostly dogs, cats and budgies, but also parrots, stick-insects, lizards, snakes, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs and even a tarantula! I do my best to not disrupt your pet’s routines so I feed them and walk them as close as possible to the same time that you do. I am happy to spend extra time with needy animals that get upset when their owners are away. I always make sure all pets eat enough each day. I also can administer medicines, worming tablets if need be. Any special dietary requirements are catered for and an extra walk or games no problem at all. In the case of an emergency, I will contact you and drive your pet immediately to your preferred vet.

I have looked after many rescue cats and understand they can sometimes need extra time and affection. From 2013-2015, I saved, reared and fostered 21 stray kittens at my house. They all were tamed, vaccinated, micro chipped, de-sexed and found happy homes!

Types of houses I have looked after:
I have experience looking after large multi storey homes with extensive gardens and pools, houses on acreage, normal size family homes and small apartments.

Extra things I can do:
If you like I am happy to send you email or text updates on the house and pets so that you know everything is ok and see how your furry friends are going.
Clean the pool if you have one.
Mow the lawn and water the gardens.
I will collect the mail every day and If you like I can forward you any important mail via email if you need me too.
Put out/bring in the garbage bins
Start car if needed to prevent battery going flat (please note I have my own car and would not drive yours).
I leave the house fully cleaned before you come back so that you arrive to a fresh tidy home. This includes the pool and gardens. I can also mow the lawn if you need it.
I can also pick up some groceries before you come home so you can take it easy when you arrive. Most people like to come home to fresh milk, bread and juice.

A quick note
I also prefer that we have a written agreement that outlines my duties with detailed instructions, vet contact, trusted person or family member contact (if you are overseas), authority to be in the house while your away (Id like it if the neighbours don’t think I am squatting in your house!) and any other things that may be needed to be carried out around the house.

I am happy to send you some references if you request.

If I sound like the type of house or pet sitter that you would like then please contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
Brett

Gary: 51, Naturopath / Vanessa: 49, Writer / Alfred: 19 Student

Hi I am Gary of a family of three. We are very loving and family orientated. Over the decades, we have had many animals in our family, so far: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, a bird, chickens, fish and mice. We are still looking for a forever-home dog after our rescue-dog, Bella, died in 2017.

We believe in sustainability and alternative environmental options instead of industrial/chemical options - if we have to use a mainstream option we don't mind, but obviously environmental is our first choice. We love and accept all the people and culture that embodies our beautiful Earth. Our lives are simple and we aren't too radical when it comes to our social life. We do like meeting new people, however.

We have owned our home in the past and are conscious of maintenance and upkeep to ensure the house retains its value. We always leave the home in the way we found it. It would be an honour to care for your home, your pets and your garden. We take pride in our housekeeping.

We are new to House Sitting and are on our second assignment. Both assignments were personally offered to us. Please see our reference from the first assignment. Our current assignment is complete on 11 July – we can supply a reference when the homeowners return from being abroad. We are happy to discuss any issue regarding your needs. Please contact us.

My interests are fishing, gardening, spiritual matters, natural medicines, reading, walking, cooking and renovating. (Police clearance)

Vanessa's interests are arts and crafts, religion/mythology/spirituality/fairytales, Wisdom Crosswords and cryptograms, gardening, home preserves, board games/cards, bargain hunting, upcycling/recycling, music and family. (Police Clearance)

Alfred's interests are gaming, reading, creative writing, film, family movie night, entomology (insects) and neuroscience. He is on his Gap Year 2019.

Although we have no experience, we are willing to train regarding the care of farm animals and horses.

Christina & Reiner

  • ACT, Sydney, Central Coast, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA

We are a responsible, trustworthy, non-smoking freelance/semi-retired couple with plenty of common sense, responsibility and reliability.
We are German born with Australian Permanent Residency/European Citizenship. We both held responsible positions in our careers. Reiner enjoyed a managing position for over 15 years at a renowned public health insurance in Duisburg and I was the managing director of an interior design company and the owner of a reputable home and giftware store with a number of employees in Sydney. We are currently enjoying some time-out and are possessed by the travel bug and welcome this alternate lifestyle of housesitting around the world. While Reiner has the freedom to pretty much enjoy the better things in life I would still like to take on some casual work in the area for a few hours per week depending on the housesit tasks. This way we have more time for ourselves and do the things we truly enjoy, we also have the flexibility to travel with or without our caravan (in Europe) and also do the things we really love doing, like walking, riding bicycles, yoga, meditation reading, cooking, crafting, listening to music..
As of lately we have been taking care of Reiners elderly parents but as things are stabilizing now and they are at good care we are ready to take off to new ventures, again.
We aim to take a professional approach to housesitting and would like to undertake a variety of housesit assignments around the world. We have many years of travel experience and are easily and quickly comfortable elsewhere. We would feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to housesit in different countries and experience their history and culture and learning a new language is always great fun. Housesitting enables us to experience diverse areas and cultures and getting to know the community we live in.
We have both been brought up surrounded by pets and they played a huge part of our life and they have been treated like family members. Our travelling lifestyle precludes us from having our own pets so we particularly love to spoil your beautiful two or four legged family members that we have entrusted to our care.
We have already had some positive experiences in the housesitting community and we would very much welcome the opportunity to sit for you. We are an open minded couple and our time traveling throughout Europe with our Caravan has been introducing us to our nomadic life style. We are not new to the concept of ‘house-sitting’ and regularly find ourselves taking care of the pets of our (camping) neighbours and spoiling their dogs and cats with cuddles or walk or sit them.
We feel that housesitting is home away from home. We look after everything as we would if the house was our own. We both own properties and have a good common sense of how and what to be taken care of. We have renovated our own properties and landscaped our gardens so we can put our hands to most things should the need arise in an emergency.
We know that it may be worrying for you to leave your pets and home; we are very conscious of this and we will make sure that we communicate regularly by e-mail, Skype or whatsapp to reassure you that all is well.
We recognize the importance of selecting the right house-sitters to look after your home, pets and garden. We are genuine animal lovers and having pets to look after is a pleasure for us. We are also house proud and we will keep your house and garden looking clean and tidy and maintained in good condition for your return.
We can provide police checks and any other information you may wish to know upon request. Happy to Skype also as an introduction and a way to get to know us more upfront.
Do contact us as we are always happy to discuss your individual house-sitting needs.

Kind regards,

Christina & Reiner

I have been an owner of dogs for 20 years. I am pet friendly, responsible and reliable. I am of good character and trustworthy both with your home and your pets - something that is very important to me, and I empathise with the decision to have someone in your home taking care of your precious pets. When I go away I have pet sitters come to my home so my dogs are in a safe familiar environment in my absence. I am fit and healthy (non smoker) and am able to walk dogs and maintain a clean house. I will respect your home and your privacy. My partner is a stock agent. He is very capable with all requisites re the land and animals. He has cats and aviaries and Ollie the cockatoo. He is a real farm gem. He also works as a gardener on a property in the Western District. He is very capable and versatile and can and will turn his hand to anything. I am interested in house sits by myself, or with Wes, depending on your requirements. I do have references on this site, from previous happy pet owners. Hope we can assist each other ..

Hello. I am a retired senior federal public servant, mature (sadly!), married woman looking to do some house sitting. I live with my husband in our own home on the Gold Coast and we currently have a dog and a cat. I am an experienced "pet" person, having had all manor of animals in my home, from mice, birds, fish to cats and dogs. Our own dog (a kelpie) is currently 7 years old and a very crazy young thing, needing lots and lots of exercise. He was supposed to be an outside dog, but somehow that rule hasn't been fully applied! Our cat is almost 4 and is very much busy with chasing the dog around. I am able to garden, clean the pool, look after the house and pets. I am a non smoker. Though I plan to "house sit" usually by myself, there would be times when my husband would join me for a short break. We are both thoroughly house trained! We are planning to formally retire in a few years and I feel that house sitting in different places would help me to get a feel for various districts by living like a local, rather than as a tourist. I am most happy to look after pets and would look after your home well. I have now done many house sits (and many return sits) and can forward names and contact details for these house owners as references. I have a written personal character reference that I can send on to you as well. Hopefully all will tell you how wonderful I am. Oh, and also that I am honest, reliable and trustworthy. You can email me on eevahelena@yahoo.com.au anytime. My preference is for short breaks, up to three weeks or so, and around the ACT or anywhere in NSW. Thanks. Eeva

I currently live and work in Melbourne, living in a share household. I house sit as I also enjoy having time to myself. I also love caring for pets. Over the past years I have sat on many occasions with many homeowners asking me back to sit for them.

I will take really good care of your pets. I genuinely enjoy both cats and dogs. I Like taking dogs for walks and offering lots of affection. Same for cats too...except the walking.

Will also take good care of your property and leave it in an excellent condition.

I have excellent references. A police check. I don't smoke.

To whom it may concern:
I have had the pleasure of knowing Susie Tapp since January 2014
During this time Susie Tapp has had a 12 month lease on a two bedroom Granny Flat on the lower floor of our home.
To the present time, now over 15 months she has proved to be a reliable and very respectful tenant.
Susie has paid her rent without default and we did not hesitate to renew her lease for another 12 months, as she requested.

Most importantly she has maintained our property well. We were able to be absent, knowing that all would be fine.
She is dependable, friendly, kind, and generous, helpful beyond what could be reasonably required.
I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Susie Tapp for whatever position she considers herself qualified to fill.

Yours faithfully,

Maleny, Queensland
23 March 2019

To whom it may concern,
Susie Tapp looked after our home and our three cats during the first week of March, this year, while we holidayed in New South Wales.
When we first met Susie about a month prior to this, we immediately felt comfortable about leaving our home and animals in her capable hands.
At our request, Susie kept in touch with us while we were away, so we were able to check on how our cats were going in our absence.
All our cats are rescue cats who, although friendly, are very cautious of strangers, and they generally take a long time to become comfortable with those they don’t know. One of our cats is particularly nervous and has a habit of not eating when feeling anxious or unsafe.
When we got back after just a week, however, it seems Susie had already managed to create a good relationship with all the cats and had even managed to have them sitting on her lap. They all looked relaxed, well, and cared for on our return.
In addition to taking great care of our cats, Susie also looked after our home, which was spotless on our return.
We will not hesitate to ask Susie to house and pet sit for us again in the future and have, in fact, booked her for three weeks in March next year.

Regards,
Tina & Becca

I am most happy to write this letter in reference to Ms. Susie Tapp’s positive qualities exhibited around our family. Ms. Tapp has established great relationships with those she has visited in Texas throughout the years.

She has developed friendships along the way and has been respectful to all of us that have interacted with her here in the US.

Ms. Tapp is responsible and shows great respect toward the different members of the family.

She has been left in charge of caring and managing the daily aspects of the home with not giving us any reason for concerns.

To whom it may concern:

I have known Susie Tapp in the capacity of Housesitter for our bed and breakfast  property at Reesville near Maleny. She has provided this service for us while we were on holiday in February 2019, and is doing so currently while we are overseas for 2 months.

This included full house cleaning, laundering of linens, and preparation for arriving guests. She also was on hand to meet and greet guests and attend to any issues that might arise during their stay.

Susie was entirely professional, well received by guests and scrupulously honest. She has no hesitation in going above and beyond her expected duties to ensure our guests have the best possible experience while staying in our house. She has a very welcoming manner and is very thoughtful, and aware of the need to create the best possible impression when dealing with guests.

In addition she has looked after our pet dog and cat, with genuine affection for them. This included administering medical treatment for our dog, which was done very diligently. We have felt confident to holiday away, knowing our home, business and pets are in caring and capable hands.

I would recommend Susie to anyone needing a responsible and caring housesitter, and happy to provide a verbal reference if required in addition to this testimonial.

Kind regards

Hi,my husband and I are retired teachers 63 and 64 who have lived and worked in the same area for 36 years. Of course as teachers we had regular police checks and we can also provide lots of references. After retirement we went to Canada, Hawaii, Far North Queensland and Tasmania. Yes, we've caught the travel bug! We've had sits in Far North Queensland, NSW, Vic and Tassie. We would like a sit in WA. SA.or NT but you would need to give us plenty of notice so we can organise our travel details.
We are friendly, reliable and caring and now that we are retired, our children have grown up and our beloved pets passed away we are rattling around our house with time on our hands. We love animals and always look after all our friends and neighbours pets, houses, gardens and mail when they are away. One of them suggested pet and house sitting as it involves travelling, animals and gardening! As a retired couple we are available for any length of time and we can plan to house sit everywhere in Australia for the next 12 to 24 months after which time we hope our children will provide us with grandchildren to spoil. As my husband Ross is a very keen fisherman we try for locations close to good fishing areas and we need room for his fishing boat.
We will take meticulous care of your house, mail, indoor plants, veggie gardens and lovingly look after dogs, cats, birds, fish, chooks, rabbits and guinea pigs. We are more than happy to be in touch with you prior to the pet and house sit and we can also give you updates during your trip so get in touch with us any time to discuss your needs and travel dates as we will try to accommodate our time to suit your needs.
We prefer the northern areas of Australia during the winter months and escaping the cold Victorian winters. Ross is a keen fisherman and gardener, I adore reading and writing and tend to be more of a home body and we both really enjoy seeing new sights and meeting new people. You can leave knowing we will take extremely good care of your pets, house and garden and while you’re away. Ross and I are looking forward to getting to know you and giving your pets our love and attention. Prior to handover we would prefer a written list of your requirements and instructions and of course contact details such as your mobile number and email address. We know the importance of trust in this relationship and can assure you of our honesty and love of animals, in fact we've found the hardest part of pet sitting is saying goodbye to the pets because we grow so fond of them. Luckily for us we have lots of repeat house sits which makes us very happy.

Hello,

We are a non-smoking, mature aged couple who will look after your home and pets as if they were your own. We are willing to travel to most areas of Australia. At the moment we are looking for a house-sit in NSW, Victoria or Q'ld, but are willing to consider/travel other states. We are experienced house sitters, having done many sits over recent years including many return requests.

Our reasons for house sitting are simple. It gives us the opportunity of seeing different parts of this beautiful country, and it also to gives us the opportunity to provide the home owner with peace of mind that their home and animal/s will be extremely well cared for, should we be granted that privilege.

We take pride in what we do, being both neat and tidy. We enjoy a quiet life, are very capable, employ common sense and take care of things the way we would hope some-one would do for us.

We have cared for many different animals, cats (many varieties including Ragdoll, Himalayan, Russian Blue, Birman, Burmese, Siamese, much loved long haired and short haired moggies, all with different personalities and requirements, some indoor only felines). We have cared for number dogs (Malamut-cross, Border Collie, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Staffy, Flatcoat Retriever, Labradoodle, Swiss Shepherd to name a few), fish, chickens and cows a herd of 20+. In recent times we can add sheep and goats. We have looked after suburban properties and rural/semi-rural with water tanks and septic systems, pumps and bio-cycles.

We can provide excellent references upon request. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Debra and Tom

Hi there, I'm a semi retired 50 something male (non smoker) who looks after people's pets and homes. I have had many happy clients, including lots of dogs and cats and horses and cows (see pics); I'm sure their owners are happy too.

I have many references from pet owners who you can speak to; including police personnel, doctors and business owners, so you can check my bona fides.

I have much rural experience and I'm rather handy with tractors, diggers, ride on lawn mowers, chainsaws and the like. Homes in my care have varied from farms to cute cottages to executive palaces and high security homes.

My preferences are northern rivers of NSW / sthn Queensland and the greater Sydney area, and now, Melbourne. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks :)
