Julie & Ken

  • Gold Coast & Hinterland, Sunshine Coast, Central Coast (Qld), Northern QLD

We are a married, mature aged couple and enjoy very good health. We lead an active life playing golf and lawn bowls and love family, animals, walking and meeting people. We holidayed as 'grey nomads' travelling Australia for 25 years but changed our holiday plans 2 years ago when we decided to investigate housesitting and caring for animals while their owners travelled. Ken is a retired electrical technician and Julie worked as a secretary in private enterprise and government departments till retirement. We have police checks and can provide a very nice reference from a satisfied houseowner in Townsville. We are very interested in housesitting from 19 June 2018 following a housesitting assignment on the Gold Coast. We are non-smokers, have a very high standard of housekeeping and are happy to provide tender, loving care for dogs or cats. We are very much aware of the confidence and trust homeowners must have in a prospective housesitter and feel we can meet that criteria successfully.

I am a clean, non smoker, young retired Australian man originally from France. I have lived in Australia since 2007. I am an Australian citizen. I love the company of dogs and pets. I can assist with small jobs as required including gardening and lawn mowing. I enjoy sporting activities including cycling, swimming, walking, skiing and running.

Recently I have separated from my partner, and have started to enjoy house sitting.

I have lived in a house with a dog for 11 years and cared for the dog as my own. I have also cared for the local wildlife by providing food and water for the birds and echidna's that visit the property. I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, fish and a tortoise.

Please contact me for references by email: gerardinenzo@gmail.com or at 0466 469 694

  • NSW, Alice Springs, QLD, VIC

A responsible & trustworthy 33yr old non-smoker, I have housesat worldwide & have great references. I love having animals around me, & especially adore cats and smart dogs. I am house-proud, & really enjoy every-day tasks of caring for a home as if it were my own. A scientist, ecologist then yacht-stewardess, I am not quite sure i have finished with travelling the world, but it sure is nice to come home for a while. Housesitting gives me the chance to work out 'where' and 'what' next.

*** Although I usually sit alone, I am lucky to be accompanied in my journey now by my partner Sebastian, who will be in Australia til end of March and used to housesit during his travelling days, several years ago now. He is a German psychologist turned yoga teacher/acro yoga instructor and therapist in thai massage. He manages his own AirBnB (one of his rooms here: https://www.airbnb.com.mt/rooms/19358524
With his profile at the bottom of the page and many positive references.)

*** I worked for a number of years as a medical scientist, saved and bought a townhouse in Melbourne, before deciding to see the world, pursuing my love of nature and animals by participating in various volunteer projects in Latin America for two years, then working as a yacht stewardess to supplement further travel throughout Europe. I have been lucky to housesit (and boatsit) caring for many different pets all throughout my travels, which in turn gave me with much-needed animal companionship and a place to care for as if it were my own. Now I am returning to Australia for a few months to visit my best friend and her new baby (in Warragul) and to exact some repairs upon my townhouse (Glenroy).

*** I will not be working in this short time so I will have heaps of quality time to spend with your pets and be added security presence for your home. I enjoy my own time and quiet space and am the sort of person who prefers to meditate or do yoga than go out to parties. I do not take drugs, and am a firm NON-smoker (Sebastian, likewise). We do enjoy the occasional glass of wine with dinner.

*** I am an extremely clean and tidy person, (force of habit from working in the yachting industry) so I appreciate the same in my surroundings. Any effort you make to clean and tidy your home before you go will be returned in-kind as I always leave a home better than how I found it, and with more joy in my heart for doing so when it is obvious you take pride in it too.

*** I have used Happy Housesitters in the past when I had to leave my own cat and home, so I totally understand how you feel & will keep you updated via email, facebook, whatsapp or Skype, as frequently as you wish, whilst you are away. The health and happiness of your pet, security of your home, and your peace-of-mind are my top priorities.

*** I can provide great references upon request (many of my sits have been overseas and by word-of-mouth, so references have not been sent through the happyhousesitter site, though I have plenty), and am happy to meet either in person if possible or via Skype, before you commit so you can see if I will be the perfect fit for you & your pets.

*** I have experience with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, fish, and birds.
I am experienced & comfortable with administration of medicines. Please contact to discuss any requirements.

*** Finally, I love all animals and seek first and foremost to keep them comfortable and happy, healthy and enjoying life. No request to this end is ever too big or too small.

I am a single, mature aged, non-smoking gentleman with experience in house and pet sitting.

As a recently retired school teacher, I am looking for an opportunity to extend myself and broaden my travelling experience by living in an area for longer than a fleeting visit as is usually the case when taking a holiday from work.
I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, walking, and recently, craft creations.

Whilst not having my own pets these days, I have had the rather usual menagerie of a cat, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, white mice and chooks.

I have a reference and photos which are attached.
I look forward to be of assistance.

Regards

Richard

PREFERENCE FOR MALTA LONG SIT during Jul-Dec 2018
LONG TIME SITTER HOST, HOME & PET OWNER

Introduction
Hello - I am at a time of life where I am available to be the brilliant house and pet sitter you are looking for. I am a single professional, self-employed Australian with two adult sons (pursuing their own careers). With no family around me, I no longer need to be based in one location. I enjoy the freedom that house sitting offers where I can be a devoted animal lover to other people's pets while enjoying your location. Being agile and moving to different cities suits my Internet based (email traffic, not heavy downloads) work very well and as I have lived in almost all of Australia's capitals & various cities overseas, I am very much at home wherever I am.
I will consider any sit with a preference for long house sits (3-12months). I am open to being in any location, city or region…here are some of my favourites: NYC, Spain, Malta, Central America, Chile, most countries in Europe and NZ. I am self employed as a facilitator, business management consultant and executive coach where I conduct my work 'virtually' via the Internet & Skype. This means I can work anywhere as long as I have fast, reliable Internet.

Why I want to house sit
Through past house sitting experience, I recognise the value of house sitting to pet lovers & security for your home while giving me flexibility & variety in lifestyle. I have travelled extensively over the years and am resourceful and socially inclusive. Your pets and home will receive my responsible and loving attention and I will be proactive by staying in touch to keep you informed about how everything is going without being a burden. You can learn more about me via my LinkedIn and business websites which I'd be happy to send you, along with my CV, biography and character referees, for information. I live simply and cleanly and will be very respectful of your home, belongings, security and privacy. I don't own a car, so, I’d welcome the use of a car if possible please, especially for overseas or remote/ distance house sits.

My experience & promise to you
I promise warmth, openness, transparency and genuine care of your pet family and your home. I am pleased to have 'home based' work so I offer a strong presence & companionship for your home & pets. I have been an Australian Army Officer with a top secret positive vet security clearance (21yr), consultant to most Australian Commonwealth Govt departments, 3yrs as deputy chair and director Crime Stoppers & National Trust boards. I pride myself on maintaining high integrity, sound judgement, balance, reliability and being a proactive communicator. I'm also a very loving and gentle person with animals. You can depend on me to keep you informed and to make decisions about your pets and home with your priorities in mind. I am comfortable with all types of animals and those with special needs. I will reach out to people in your immediate community network, as advised by you, if needed. I've been a home owner for 25yr, an animal lover for life and I know the value of a quality house sitter. I've had the joy of 7yrs experience as a host to my own house sitter, so I fully understand and respect the responsibility that comes with this position. I am also a 'live-in' sitter for people with frequent short absences, so I can be there while you come and go.

My aim is to give you absolute peace of mind while you are absent while having a cost effective home solution for myself (as a 'local'!) in a new environment. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet family! My previous hosts are all happy to chat with you and I can email you their references if you wish. Wherever possible, if I am in your city, I will always try to meet with you and your pets in advance of the sit so we know that 'everyone' is comfortable. Warmly, Lisa

NOTE: I AM COMMITTED WITH HOUSE SITS UNTIL JUL18 WITH A FEW VACANT WINDOWS JAN/FEB/MAR18….. I WELCOME CONNECTING WITH YOU IN ANTICIPATION OF FUTURE SITS WELL IN ADVANCE. Note that it's always worth checking in with me in case I am free due to hosts' change of plans. Let's chat!

I am a 47 year old female, single, non-smoker, non-drinker working in Forensic Sciences at Macleod so need to be able to commute daily. I have been employed in Forensics since July 2001. I have recently sold my home in Kilsyth and am keen to just "chill out" for the next few years without a mortgage....ahhh mortgage free for a few years is a wonderful thought. I love all animals whether furry, feathered, hooved etc and currently have an old husky of my own, Dylan is 11 1/2 years old. (house trained, doesn't dig or destroy property, she sleeps most of day now :) ) I volunteer at RSPCA Burwood every second Friday for the day. Being a home owner myself (until recently) I understand the gravity of inviting a stranger into your home to care for it, I can assure you that I would respect your home as if it was my own. I love being outdoors and active. Gardening is one of my passions, so if you have a garden that you need nurtured and not just kept, I would be glad to help out. I have my own trailer so I'm quite willing and able to lay some mulch or do a tip run if the garden needs it. If you think I may fit the bill, please, get in touch with me and we can meet to discuss your needs. Long term house sitting eg 6 - 12 months would be quite suitable for me as I must move out of my house by December 21st 2015.

Hi,

I love animals, am considerate, quiet and very reliable. Love to roam and take pictures and feel at home in both urban and country environments.

I have been running Airbnb properties for the past seven years, mostly as a 'superhost' so am clean and responsible around the house, and enjoy meeting new people from everywhere.

House sitting is new to me but care of animals and gardens is not. I have experience with most animals including dogs, cats, horses and wilderness wildlife.

I am hoping to find a long term house sit, but will consider short sits if I am in the area.

Responsible retired couple available to care for your home, domestic pets and garden.

We are a retired couple (non-smokers) from Brisbane with interests in golf, gardening, photography and genealogy. We enjoy road trips, spending time in one place and leisurely exploring an area and community. Since 2014 we have undertaken a number of house-sitting assignments and have found it a rewarding experience. We are always respectful of someone else’s property and possessions, taking care to maintain the property to a high standard.

We have owned dogs, cats and birds in the past and they were always considered an integral part of our family. We would describe ourselves as “animal lovers” and have experience in the care of domestic animals such as feeding, administering medication, grooming and walking.

We would feel privileged to be given the opportunity to take care of your pets and property.

I hope to sit Winter in 2018 in Northern climes so if you have need of a reliable, clean non smoking sitter for your home or pets let me know.Happy to chat by phone or Facetime.

I am a retired University & TAFE Lecturer. I own my home, have a reliable car and since I worked overseas for the last five years I currently have no pets. Previously though I have lived on the land all my life.Have had cows, horses, pigs and all kinds of poultry, fish and house pets. I have had several dogs ,my last was a pure bred blue roan cocker spaniel. I was owner of Serendip Siamese and bred and exhibited Siamese and Foreign White cats. My last lovely cat died at age 17 before I left for work overseas. I am familiar with most farm animals, though not for the past five years while working overseas.
I am a keen gardener and past Secretary of our local Garden Club plus a former committee member of Noorat Residents Association. I have family all around Australia and like to house sit and incorporate brief family visits while sitting interstate.
I am a responsible, honest, caring animal lover, a house proud non smoker & non drinker who loves to read ( addicted to my iPad which has 500 books for me to choose from while I sit for you !). I like winter sitting in northern climes and being home to water my garden in Spring/Summer if possible(so I take only short local-ish sits during this time). I will consider sits in Perth for two/four weeks over Christmas which would allow me to see family and spend some of Xmas day with them.

I am new to this site but have been sitting privately and with Mindahome and have reviews available as an attachment here. As a Teacher I have had a Victorian Police Clearance and Working with Children Check for work- now expired due to retirement). I now have a Federal Police Check Certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police (Australian National Police Check Certificate).
I will care for your home and garden as my own, and your pets with loving care and attention.
Thank you for your consideration.

I am a happy, friendly, 62 year old semi-retired house-sitter who is a fit, non-smoking, mature female; honest, reliable, house and garden proud. I grew up on a farm thus have familiarity, experience, patience and love for animals and pets, having grown up caring for many various pets of my own.
I have a passion for gardening and landscaping; I have the time to care for, walk and empathize with your pet/s missing their owner/s while keeping your home safe and as you left it. I have always owned my own homes and worked in responsible professional positions; married for 39 years to an electrician who works away six months of the year, with adult independent children living interstate pursuing professional careers.
I will respect your home, garden and beloved pets with the care I show my own. I can supply a Police Check, Working with Children Check (pets are our children!), House Owners and character references when required.
I am willing to listen carefully to your instructions, preferences & requirements. Thank-you, Dianne :)

We are a mature couple (68 and 72 year olds) non drinkers and non smokers. Fit and able to do garden and walk pet. We like to ride our bikes to explore whatever region we may visit.
The idea is to head north each year to escape the southern winters.

Derek

  • ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC

Hi, My name is Derek. I'm 61, single and this is my third year house sitting. I'm currently in Wallington near Geelong enjoying the company of three character cats and a Scotch Collie.

I thought house sitting would be a great way to get to see and know more of Australia and Australians. The home owners, pets, locals, culture and geography I'm meeting continue to supply a wealth of positive experiences. It's also a pleasure to be able to help people get away in the knowledge their homes and pets are in safe, committed hands.

Skills under my belt include gardening and house maintenance as well as pool care. I have owned, as well as looked after many pets; being experienced with dogs, cats, birds, chooks, ducks, horses, alpacas, a Shetland pony, poddy calves, fish and bees (a former orchard interest). I am reliable and would keep your pet's established routines as close to normal as possible.

I understand how important peace of mind is with respect to the well being of pets. As such, I keep in regular email contact with home owners regarding pets and always attach pics of their escapades. I also spend the majority of my time around the house and therefore, with your pet/s.

I am also responsible with the care and security necessary to keep a house safe and sound. I drive but don't have a car (environmental); public transport does the job. I live simply via a connection with Buddhist philosophy and practice. I don't drink or smoke. I would consider any location in Australia - city, country town or rural. Longer sits are preferable; 4 weeks plus - but would consider shorter periods depending on location and bookings.

If you think I could be suitable, ring or text if dates fit and I'll get on line and/or phone you. I'll forward references and referee contacts when applying for positions. Thank you for your consideration.

We are a retired couple in our very early 70s who enjoy travelling to different parts of our wonderful country.
We travel in a caravan just under 9 meters in length and are happy to stay in the van or in your home as required.
We head north each year to escape Melbourne's winter, have done a number of housesits in the Bundaberg Region and would now like to explore other regions.
We are home owners who thoroughly enjoy house-sitting and would look after your home as if it was our own.
Although we do not have any pets of our own, we have experience looking after horses, dogs, cats, chickens, fish and guinea fowl and are confident we could look after any other animals you may have.
Please contact us any time to discuss your needs further.

Recently retired from working in aged-care, now embracing house sitting full time to travel and explore Australia and meet new people.
I am an active, non-smoking, mature single female. I consider it a privilege to care for your pets, home and garden.
Have owned and loved cats, dogs (including two long haired Chihuahua which lived to the ripe old age of 18), fish, birds and even my daughter's mice.
I live a healthy life style, am reliable, honest, responsible, trustworthy and very tidy. I supply all my own consumables so that you are not inconvenienced.
I will enjoy looking after your pets and home while you are away and ensure that they will be taken care of as you would expect. With love and kindness.
If I can be a assistance, I would love to hear from you.

Kaz

  • ACT, NSW, Alice Springs, Darwin, QLD, SA, TAS

My name is Kaz, and I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I am 66 years old, non smoker, and love animals - particularly dogs. My last 4 legged companion (Tigger - a retired Greyhound) passed away several years ago. His passing (at the ripe old age of 14) meant I could take on new ventures.

I love new places, and looking after furry kids - fishy, feathered kids if necessary!!

Having worked in extremely remote communities over a 10 year period, I am organised and adaptable, and would look after your home and pets as I would my own. Up until late 2014, I owned my own home. I sold, in preparation to moving to country NSW in November of 2016. I have been permanently housesitting since 2012.

In March of 2014, I closed my landline crystal and mineral business, and moved to selling online. Which means that I work from home. I have my own internet connection, and chose Telstra as my provider, as their coverage is (generally!!) greater.

I am happy to provide details of referees. I have regular clients, and house/pet sit for some of them several times per year....

Some feedback from clients:

"It is always reassuring to know the dogs can be at home rather than in kennels We were able to enjoy planning the trip and then eventually being away with your great service. The dogs were well cared for and obviously enjoyed your presence very much so we are happy too!! No problem if you use these comments". Joe and Anne, Perth, WA

"We were very happy with Kaz. Fergie is a rather strong and dominant rescue dog with a few problems such as separation anxiety and we came back to find her actually better than when we left! So much so, that I have asked Kaz to meet up for a walk with the dog so I can learn from how she handles her!

For the first time ever, our cat had not pined and lost weight. The house was neat and tidy and Kaz had go above and beyond in every respect." Carol and Punch, Perth, WA.

Referee's contact details available on request.

Hello Home Owners

As a writer of children's books and songs I am free to go anywhere and make my home anywhere, as long as I have my computer and good internet access (I have my own wireless internet)
Writing, editing and research keeps me at home most days, so your pets will have plenty of company to keep them from fretting over your absence. I am an avid 'dog whisperer' fan and find those methods of interacting with dogs successful with dogs I know well, and also with dogs I have just met.

HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE
Since 2013 I have completed 20+ housesits all without a problem and am often asked to do repeat house sits. I have no complaints and have never received a complaint. I have many references which home owners were happy to provide.
I house sit up and down the NSW & Queensland coastline from Hervey Bay to Newcastle & Gosford. I plan to spend more time in Newcastle/Sydney from October 2016. I am planning a long term car trip to Airlie Beach/Cairns beginning June 2017 and am endeavouring to secure house sits along the way,
ABOUT MY LIFE & FAMILY
I am an ex-infants teacher and have worked as a carer to the disabled (certificate 111 )
I have a daughter and a granddaughter in Newcastle. They have a beautifully trained and extra loving male staffy, Nungo. I house and dog sit for my family several times a year when they go skiing or visit their favourite destination, Hamilton Island. Nungo keeps me company and we have a lovely time together.
I currently share a beautiful house in Murwillumbah, NSW with my sister and her staffy Uschi who is 8 months old. She arrived here at 7 weeks of age and is a delight to have in my life.

WHAT I OFFER?
I have been a loving caring friend to my own dogs and cats. I have lived with animals in my own homes long term, and have looked after the pets of my friends and relatives.
DOGS & I
In the last few years I have learned much about dog psychology, and find this knowledge useful when approaching and looking after other people's pets.
I had experienced house sitting and dog sitting for friends, so I thought I would put my experiences to good use and start house sitting professionally.
CATS & I
As a child we always had a cat. Always a female & therefore I have experienced the birth (and care) of many kittens.
As an adult I had two cats on separate occasions, Victoria and Adelaide. Victoria was baited and that was a horrific experience. The only thing that settled me was to go to the shelter to get another kitten. Adelaide approached us with her big meow.... no decision necessary. She lived a happy long life.

TRUST AND COMMITMENT
I have looked after many children, dogs, cats and the elderly in my career as a teacher, as a nanny, as personal carer and also as mother and grandmother. I have a great respect for life and all creatures and view life as a precious gift.
I understand the services I need to provide as a house sitter, and these fit easily into the way I live my daily life.
I have owned my own home and rented many others and have always left these homes as I found them or better.
My main goals in life are: to do no harm, add joy where possible and to enjoy myself through trying new ways of living.
That is why I feel house sitting is a great experience! Great for the home owner, who will receive peace of mind and excellent care for their home and pet/s. And great for my writing, providing new opportunities for me to meet more people and investigate 'the other side of the fence'.
Looking forward to meeting you, being of service and building a relationship of mutual trust.
Krystyna
Ps… please read my references, but contact details for references will be given only after we are close to agreeing on the house sit. I respect the privacy of all parties involved.

Katie

HAPPY HEALTHY HOUSE SITTERS.
We are professional married sitters. I was a registered nurse and Ben did 22 years in the RAAF.
We have been house and farm sitting for over 3 years now and have met some beautiful people. We are very house proud and can turn hand to anything. We have many return sitting positions as all our clients have been please with our work. We tend to take longer positions now, as this allows our pet and home owners to have a decent holiday. Our children are grown up and living away from us. We are both retired so our time is our own. We don't have any pets of our own thus we can spoil yours. We have a large caravan if need be, for accommodation, however most of our hosts prefer us to live in their homes.
We have looked after homes in towns where we have looked after a dog with a broken hip and animals with all sorts of other disabilities.
We have sat farms where our duties included looking after all a variety of livestock. Slash paddocks and feed and pen animals. We also looked after stations in the bush and outback. Including 7 months on a station in Cape York for the wet season and 12 months on a farm in Northern Qld.
We are experienced and very happy to look after cats, dogs, goldfish, cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, llamas and alpacas.
We are both non smokers and occasional drinkers.
We are very proficient at looking after swimming pools as well.
We enjoy golf, fishing, walking and cooking.
We have police checks and reference available on request also.
If you are looking for exceptional sitters please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to looking after your property.
Kindest regards
Ben and Katie Hall

Happily married, and still in love after many years of working together 24/7, we decided to retire early and take the time and opportunity to explore this great Southern land. With our four-legged child, a 6 year old Poodle/Maltese X, we like to spend periods of time in places that please us. We've met fabulous folk and seen wonderful sights on our journey. Now we'd love to learn more about the area in which you live!

In our former life we were kitchenware wholesalers and retailers, with a cooking school - where John taught many culinary classes. He is passionate about real food and good nutrition, and continues to cook up a storm on the road!

Michele is a qualified dog trainer. A Certified Training Partner of the, internationally recognised, Karen Pryor Academy she works with private clients and also volunteers at RSPCA centres. Caring for your pets is an absolutely joy for her - and she'll happily train any problem behaviours you may be experiencing ... or just teach your fur baby a few neat tricks in your absence! All just part and parcel of the house sitting service! With Michele in residence, your pets will enjoy the time out and holiday just as much as you will!

We also have experience with a variety of farm animals, and can administer needles and medications as required. We enjoy the outdoor life enormously!

We're mature - AND we still know how to have fun! We're energetic, active and interested in everything. Walking every day is important to us, and keeps us all fit. Other than that, we're quite content to stay @ home and enjoy the ambience. Pottering in the garden is always a pleasure - never a chore. We have a travelling, potted herb garden ... essential for the chef! Actually, we're healthier and happier now than ever before.

We're non-smokers and we need a smoke-free environment. We keep a clean and tidy caravan, and will treat your house with due care and respect. We're responsible, reliable and trustworthy.

As former home owners, we understand that you want the peace of mind that comes with the right people caring for your critter-kids and castle. We are those people, and would love hear from you.

Links to Michele's professional training qualifications, and other relevant information is available on request. This site will not permit us to include them in our profile.

Character references also available on request.

I have been house-sitting full time since 2014. I put my home in storage to undertake a masters degree by research. I have a lot of time to stay "in" if required which suits pet owners. While house sitting I am happy to live in different suburbs and the surrounding areas of Sydney and up to 2 hours or so out of Sydney. Eventually I aim to buy my next home, and this is a great way to experience different locations.
I have been really enjoying the house sitting community and it suits my current life of studying and doing much less work.
I love animals and, apart from the last 8 years, have always had pets of all descriptions most of my life. Mostly an inner-city person recently, I have lived in different places over the years including by the ocean, on a river and on a farm (Farm was twenty years ago) and raised animals of all kinds from baby lambs and calves to cats, dogs and birds. I have always pet sat for friends when they went away and the pets always take to me quickly as I do them.
I have worked in the arts and business for twenty five years and now run a small home based business as well as my study. I have grown children who are totally independent and I feel this is my time to explore new ideas and live in new areas. House sitting is a great way to live in new areas and transition to a new home eventually for myself. I am very responsible, a garden and pet lover. I do need to stay within reasonable commuting distance of Sydney for study and family, but short stints even interstate are not impossible.

Have been travelling and house sitting for friends and mostly through "bush telegraph". We prefer to stay in our van and use toilet/shower in house... if available. We have farm sat at Oura, via Wagga for the last 3 years , Longest period 4 months'. Have assisted with cherry orchard. . picking, packing, sales etc. Gardening. pruning, general maintenance, lawn mowing. Monitoring small flock sheep, llamas, and caring for the girls, two kelpie dogs!!! We have also cared for house/farm property at Culcairn. As we have to travel back to Wagga on a regular basis to assist and care for elderly relative we can no longer travel to far away. Our family live on South Coast NSW and Bairnsdale Vic and our plan is to eventually settle in the Bairnsdale area so would be very interested in finding house sits there. We are both non smokers, hubby enjoys the occasional beer, plays social bowls, loves yarn especially with retired truck drivers.. working with machinery. We both love animals and enjoy caring for them, we have had our own fur pets, but when our little dog had to be put to sleep we decided .. no more until we settled down.. I enjoy gardening, movies, reading and have done volunteer work ( not so much, since we been travelling) scrapbooking, card making. walking. We are both very tidy and particular how we care for our own and other peoples possessions. We are happy to try most chores on farm and Ron usually is the worker, I do what I can to support him. He also likes fishing and we enjoy visiting new places, meeting the locals and the occasional visit to local club. Have written references.

I currently live and work in Melbourne, living in a share household. I house sit as I also enjoy having time to myself. I also love caring for pets. Over the past years I have sat on many occasions with many homeowners asking me back to sit for them.

I will take really good care of your pets. I genuinely enjoy both cats and dogs. I Like taking dogs for walks and offering lots of affection. Same for cats too...except the walking.

Will also take good care of your property and leave it in an excellent condition.

I have excellent references. A police check. I don't smoke.
I am a friendly respectful guy who is very clean and tidy
Cheers, Patrick
