I am a single non smoking qualified assistant nurse, in my early 40's. Very much a clean living, (non smoking, non drinking and no drugs), and also am quiet, considerate and tidy. I am a responsible, reliable and enjoy reading, some music, bushwalking and enjoy some gardening and also an animal lover. (I've some experience with farm animals also).I'm a house proud person who will look after your home, as if it were my own. I'm able to collect mail, water gardens, keep your home clean and tidy, lovingly look after your animals, and will base myself there (for the required time), around work, also working from home. I did have some house sitting experience at Mt Cotton, taking care of a friends house, garden and dog, but am unable to get references because the owners have moved overseas. I'm able to provide a police clearance on request and will be happy to meet with you, to get started.Thankyou, and I look forward to talking with you very soon.
My name is Kaz, and I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I am 66 years old, non smoker, and love animals - particularly dogs. My last 4 legged companion (Tigger - a retired Greyhound) passed away several years ago. His passing (at the ripe old age of 14) meant I could take on new ventures.I love new places, and looking after furry kids - fishy, feathered kids if necessary!!Having worked in extremely remote communities over a 10 year period, I am organised and adaptable, and would look after your home and pets as I would my own. Up until late 2014, I owned my own home. I sold, in preparation to moving to country NSW in November of 2016. I have been permanently housesitting since 2012. In March of 2014, I closed my landline crystal and mineral business, and moved to selling online. Which means that I work from home. I have my own internet connection, and chose Telstra as my provider, as their coverage is (generally!!) greater.I am happy to provide details of referees. I have regular clients, and house/pet sit for some of them several times per year....Some feedback from clients:"It is always reassuring to know the dogs can be at home rather than in kennels We were able to enjoy planning the trip and then eventually being away with your great service. The dogs were well cared for and obviously enjoyed your presence very much so we are happy too!! No problem if you use these comments". Joe and Anne, Perth, WA"We were very happy with Kaz. Fergie is a rather strong and dominant rescue dog with a few problems such as separation anxiety and we came back to find her actually better than when we left! So much so, that I have asked Kaz to meet up for a walk with the dog so I can learn from how she handles her! For the first time ever, our cat had not pined and lost weight. The house was neat and tidy and Kaz had go above and beyond in every respect." Carol and Punch, Perth, WA.Referee's contact details available on request.
We are a mature age professional non-smoking couple. With occupations in healthcare and sales/management, we have excellent work and life ethics and would guarantee you would be pleased with us caring for your home and pets. We have rented out our house on Sunshine Coast and are now working and travelling our way around Australia in our caravan. We are fastidious with keeping our home/caravan in a high level of cleanliness We are always willing to house sit in rural areas or provincial towns as we would to be able to park our van. We are happy to sit in suburban areas if there is space to safely park our caravan. We are able to house sit for longer periods of time. We would consider it a privilege to look after your house or farm, pets and gardens. References available on request. Over last few years we have house sat across eastern Australia including Bendigo, Caloundra, Alexandra Headlands, Hervey Bay, Burleigh Waters, Mount Cotton and Sheidow Park SA.
Hi, We are a couple 67 and 60. We have just retired and have already done a number of house sits on Magnetic island and in the Brisbane area. We have enjoyed it immensely, we now would like to get more into house sitting to see more of this wonderful country. Our house sitting preference at this time would be Queensland or Northern NSW, however we are looking at all states. We have lived in our own house in Coffs Harbour for 40 years. We are a very stable couple who pride ourselves on looking after other peoples houses and animals the same as we look after our own. Although we have not had any dogs or cats at home we do have quite a bit of experience with animals, looking after many different kinds during the house sitting jobs that we have previously done. Spencer has also worked at an animal park for 40 years. We have bred birds as a hobby for the last 10 years. We are sure your house and animals would be in good hands with us looking after it while you are away. We are both non-smokers and enjoy the outdoors. References are available. Please call us to discuss any needs you may have.
Hi I'm Paul and I am now retired after finishing my career as a Town Planner working in Local Government. My wife (Janet) is currently working as a Teacher’s Aide. We own our home and have lived on the beautiful Sunshine Coast for 20 years after living in Melbourne, however we love to travel and experience new places! Our 3 children have grown up and have moved on to live in other parts of Australia. We have one dog, an 11 year old Australian Terrier named Ziggy. We share the “doggy duties” of daily walking, feeding, and of course, picking up droppings. We had an older Cocker Spaniel but she is no longer with us. Our cat also lived lived to the very old age of 21. We have arrangements in place for our dog to stay elsewhere so any house sit by us at your home would not involve our dog.We have done several house swaps here in Australia and overseas and a couple of these involved taking care of cats. Paul has now completed several house sits minding cats & dogs and keeping the host's home and garden neat and tidy. We now wish to do house sitting so we can stay a little longer than typical house swaps. We are house and garden proud and understand what is required to take care of your home and your pets.We are both non-smokers. References and Police Check can be supplied upon request.

Responsible retired couple available to care for your home, domestic pets and garden. We are a retired couple (non-smokers) from Brisbane with interests in golf, gardening, photography and genealogy. We enjoy road trips, spending time in one place and leisurely exploring an area and community. Since 2014 we have undertaken a number of house-sitting assignments and have found it a rewarding experience. We are always respectful of someone else’s property and possessions, taking care to maintain the property to a high standard. We have owned dogs, cats and birds in the past and they were always considered an integral part of our family. We would describe ourselves as “animal lovers” and have experience in the care of domestic animals such as feeding, administering medication, grooming and walking. We would feel privileged to be given the opportunity to take care of your pets and property.
Hello Home Owners! This year I am focusing on house-sitting around the Toowoomba area; some areas in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast . Petrol costs too much to go further afield, unfortunately.Being a pensioner, and a retired teacher,I decided House-Sitting was my only way of having a break/ holiday from home. I have done several successful years of pet and home-sitting ..all with dogs, cats, birds, fish , etc., and even a pet python. I am police-checked a few times over [ for volunteer work], and hold a current Blue Card. I carry a pet first aid kit in my car.I am a keen gardener, and cook..you may find a meal in your fridge or freezer on your return.I am used also to looking after pools.I am an inveterate animal-lover, with a rural back-ground. I do not smoke , and have the occasional Guinness. I don't throw wild parties.. nor even sedate dinner-parties, as meagre pensions don't run to that!!!! I bring my own mobile larder, laptop, printer, mobile internet modem for my emails , and mobile phone with unlimited calls, so I do not need much, apart from some space in the fridge and the freezer, and access to wifi for my web searches. I have my own transport..a battered Falcon wagon with three dog restraints in the back.Currently, I do not have any pets of my own, as my beloved Westie, Cailan, passed away last year.References are available.
Hello. I have been a house sitter for just over 6 years . Most of my house sits have been by referral in Tasmania, and I have had requests to be on the Mainland too. I work mainly from home and therefore, I am able to move freely between house sits. Most of the house sits I have been asked to do have been to look after people's precious little dogs and/or cats and I have had the odd rabbit, horse, sheep, cows and chickens :) I grew up on a farm with a love of animals and a knowing for what they want. Sometimes, people just want me to be a presence in their home for security while they are away. Some have trusted me with their business banking and talking business calls and sales. I have been both home owner and a landlord and I have a healthy respect for both positions. I am looking forward to connecting with home owners who value my experience and what I have to offer. Those who I've house sat for ,would be delighted to provide a reference for you and I am happy for you to call them once we have made contact. Warm regards, Joanne.
Recently retired from working in aged-care, now embracing house sitting full time to travel and explore Australia and meet new people.I am an active, non-smoking, mature single female. I consider it a privilege to care for your pets, home and garden.Have owned and loved cats, dogs (including two long haired Chihuahua which lived to the ripe old age of 18), fish, birds and even my daughter's mice.I live a healthy life style, am reliable, honest, responsible, trustworthy and very tidy. I supply all my own consumables so that you are not inconvenienced. I will enjoy looking after your pets and home while you are away and ensure that they will be taken care of as you would expect. With love and kindness. If I can be a assistance, I would love to hear from you.

Over the past years I have sat on many occasions with many homeowners asking me back to sit for them. I will take really good care of your pets. I genuinely enjoy both cats and dogs. I Like taking dogs for walks and offering lots of affection. Same for cats too...except the walking. Will also take good care of your property and leave it in an excellent condition. I have excellent references. A police check. I don't smoke. I am a friendly respectful guy who is very clean and tidyCheers, Patrick
Hello. I am a retired senior federal public servant, mature (sadly!), married woman looking to do some house sitting. I live with my husband in our own home on the Gold Coast and we currently have a dog and a cat. I am an experienced "pet" person, having had all manor of animals in my home, from mice, birds, fish to cats and dogs. Our own dog (a kelpie) is currently 7 years old and a very crazy young thing, needing lots and lots of exercise. He was supposed to be an outside dog, but somehow that rule hasn't been fully applied! Our cat is almost 4 and is very much busy with chasing the dog around. I am able to garden, clean the pool, look after the house and pets. I am a non smoker. Though I plan to "house sit" usually by myself, there would be times when my husband would join me for a short break. We are both thoroughly house trained! We are planning to formally retire in a few years and I feel that house sitting in different places would help me to get a feel for various districts by living like a local, rather than as a tourist. I am most happy to look after pets and would look after your home well. I have now done many house sits (and many return sits) and can forward names and contact details for these house owners as references. I have a written personal character reference that I can send on to you as well. Hopefully all will tell you how wonderful I am. Oh, and also that I am honest, reliable and trustworthy. You can email me on email@example.com anytime. My preference is for short breaks, up to three weeks or so, and around the ACT or anywhere in NSW. Thanks. Eeva
My husband and I are both retired, although Ian does work every now and then for his previous employer (finance area). I retired 3 years ago but had been a School Admonistration Manager (14 years). I still have security clearance to work in schools, therefore have had the full criminal record check. We did our first house sitting and pet minding "job" in March and April 2015 (6 wks) and we looked after lovely little dog and cat(See Reference) and we then did another house sit, pet minding (5 wks) looking after another gorgeous dog (See Reference). Our background in brief: Five adult children. Married 42 years. We now live in an Over 50s complex and are enjoying it very much. We had previously lived at Sylvania, southern suburb of Sydney, for 35 years. Always been involved in community activities (Judy - P&C life member, and raising money for various charities. Ian - Soccer Chairmans award for volunteer work, also local Scout group committee member and volunteer work). We love pets, growing up I had a poodle, and Ian had a Jack Russell. Our family dog was a Staffie called Cypress. She was loved for 14 years, and when the timing is right we will have another Staffie. But we love all pets. We are honest and reliable, and would take good care of your home, inside and out. Ian really enjoys mowing lawns, yes he does. And I love pottering in the garden. We would now like to do more travelling and exploring of this wonderful country. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Hello, my name is Barb. I am 59 years old, single, and don't smoke or drink. I lead a fairly quiet life, am respectful and reliable and very aware of the sense of responsibility required in caring for someone else's home and pets. I also love gardens and plants so I would also enjoy looking after your garden.I am a very tidy and clean person who has respect for all environments. I have been an owner of dogs for 20 years. I am pet friendly, responsible and reliable. I am of good character and trustworthy both with your home and your pets - something that is very important to me, and I empathise with the decision to have someone in your home taking care of your precious pets. When I go away I have pet sitters come to my home so my dogs are in a safe familiar environment in my absence. I am fit and healthy (non smoker) and am able to walk dogs and maintain a clean house. I will respect your home and your privacy. My partner is a stock agent. He is very capable with all requisites re the land and animals. He has cats and aviaries and Ollie the cockatoo. He is a real farm gem. He also works as a gardener on a property in the Western District. He is very capable and versatile and can and will turn his hand to anything. I am interested in house sits by myself, or with Wes, depending on your requirements.Hope we can assist each other .

Henri and Meredith have deep ties to the Northern Rivers community. They are both members (and medal winners) of Ballina Toastmasters (and former executive members of the Club). As business owners themselves, they are also active members of Byron and Beyond Networking and Ballina Business Alliance, both networking groups for local business people. Other local memberships they have include Byron Writers' Festival, Lismore Theatre Company (Meredith performed in a play for the Group in 2016 and Henri was stage manager) and Henri is a member of Screenworks. Both Meredith and Henri run their own business. Meredith owns LaughterWorx - where she develops program and one-off events for businesses, community groups, aged care facilities, events, conferences, gyms etc.. to help participants build resilience, confidence, improve communication and team harmony and bust stress using laughter. Meredith also likes to give back to the community, and in May 2017 ran free Laughter classes in Lismore for those affected by the floods to try and find their funny bone mojo again. She also runs Laughter classes for North Coast Community College (having completed Term 1 2017, currently half way through Term 2 and booked for Term 3). Meredith is also author of one non-fiction book (The Busy Woman's Guide to Inner Health and Outer Beauty) and is researching the second book in her The Busy Woman's Guide series. Henri's business is LAMB, which stands for Local Authors Mobile Bookshop. The business is devoted to promoting the works by authors from the Northern Rivers. It's the only outlet of its kind and they are really proud of it. LAMB travels to markets and shopping centres to showcase the wide range of publications. Henri is also an author of six books, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as an actor, director and playwright. His plays have been staged in Australia and the UK. In February of 2017, Henri was awarded the Nancy Fairfax Writer-in-Residence at the Tweed Regional Gallery (courtesy of Byron Writers' Festival); and in 2016 he won the Mary Shelley Frankenstein 200 award for a short story. You can look for their Facebook pages and websites to find out more information. The couple took up housesitting on returning from an extended overseas trip in 2015, and found it so enjoyable they haven't stopped yet. Both love animals, and since their last cat passed away before they went O/S, petsitting has allowed them the pleasure of being with quite a range of wonderful critters! Neither smoke, and with both working mostly from home there is usually someone around to keep your pet/s company.Meredith's mother moved to Ballina from Sydney in early 2017, so housesitting locally means they can stay close to her. Meredith and Henri have looked after homes as far away as Maryborough (Qld) and as close as Ballina. Earlier in 2017 they chook/fish/budgie sat for nearly a month, and in May/June/July 2017 are dogsitting in East Ballina. Last Christmas/New Year they cat sat in Mt Tamborine for a month, and the homeowners were so happy having Meredith and Henri in their home, they booked them again for late August 2017 for a month. (Mt Tamborine is a little bit out of the way - but the cats are so gorgeous they just couldn't say no!).Meredith and Henri would be more than happy to meet up so everyone can make sure they are a mutual good fit. This could be via Skype, in a coffee shop, or in your home. Please feel free to send through any questions. References can be made available upon request.

I'm a mature aged, non-smoking female who has chosen to housesit as an alternative to renting. I've been housesitting since September 2011 and I really enjoy the lifestyle. House-sitting is a great way to save money until I can afford a place of my own, plus I enjoy experiencing different places. I love animals (was raised on a dairy farm), and am experienced in dealing with all their cute little quirks (and messes!) and providing a load of pats and affection if required. However, having a pet is not a requirement for me to house-sit.I keep the homes I house-sit for in good condition and am very respectful of the homes I care for.. Owners have been very happy with the condition I leave their homes, gardens and pets in and I've had many return house-sits and referrals as a result. Any tasks that need to be done in your absence - like mail collection and putting out the bins - are part and parcel of the house-sitting lifestyle and I'm happy to do them for you. I work at home part time for a super company and I also do some writing so I spend much of my time working on my computer. The good news for you is I'll be around to keep your pets company and hold down the forte, so your pets will be well looked after and your home will be well attended. I enjoy my own company and peace and quite around the house. When I'm at home it's just me, so you can rest assured that there won't be a continual procession of visitors stampeding through your home. Of course, I can go on about how responsible, reliable and trustworthy I am....but why not get in contact with me so you can decide for yourself. I have great referrences and a police check...what more can you ask for in a sitter?
