My name is Michael Mathews. I have been house and pet minding since 2008I do have a web page which has many testimonials:www.perthhousesitters.com.auI am a mature male, single, very strong and healthy and very experienced with all types of animals.I am a non smoker, non drinker and have a current police clearance certificate. I am neat and tidy and take the house sitting commitment very seriously. An attitude of "she'll be OK mate" does not belong in the house sitting industry. I am meticulous and thorough and I always look upon myself as the "Occupational Health and Safety Officer" for your pets. The reason I got into pet minding was because I had been living with my partner for many years. She had 4 lovely pets. When we went our separate ways she took all her pets. I rented a unit and whenever I arrived home and opened the front door, I would experience a feeling of loneliness. There was just no life force, no energy...no pets to play with, no happiness, no laughter. It is not much fun watching TV without a cat on the couch and a dog at your feet. To get my daily "pet fix" I started house sitting and I can honestly say that the last few years have been the most joyful, blissful and rewarding years of my life.Over the past few years I have looked after hundreds of pets, including 26 Alpacas, big dogs like Rottys, little dogs like Chihuahuas, fast dogs like Huskies, asthmatic cats on ventolin pumps, ducks, fish ponds, chickens, bird aviaries, horses and elephants (only joking... but I would be happy to give it a go...imagine picking up their daily poo in a yellow poo bag!!!)I recently looked after a vets pets...3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 birds and 2 ferrets...they peed and pood everywhere but that is part of the job.I have looked after pets in the suburbs and on farms, even had to learn to drive a tractor to pick up all the Alpaca poo, and mow the grass with a drive on mower.
We are an older couple. We own our own home and we recently lost our little dog who had been with us for 17.5 years. Our little dog was certainly "part of the family". We love all types of animals. We are retired. Peter is a retired Senior Sergeant with the Victoria Police. He still works in the judicial system as a Justice of the Peace. I have a current Police Check. I was a teacher/school counselor. We have had experience house sitting and we do know how we would like people to respect our property so naturally we would do the same for others. We really love to travel and visit new places. We enjoy walking and reading when we are on holidays.Your house would be left just the way we found it on arrival. We can provide references if required.
About me:I am an experienced house and pet sitter that enjoys taking care of pets and seeing new places. I enjoy the opportunity and friendships that house sitting brings. I don’t have my own pets so I really enjoy spending time with the animals while house sitting. I am a trustworthy, responsible, clean and non-smoking Australian male (37). I have a lot of house and pet sitting experience. I am reliable, practical, and easy to get along with. Your pets and home will be extremely well looked after by a capable person. I am a serious house sitter, one that does what they say they will do. I am currently completing my post graduate studies in Psychology. I have dedicated my career to helping people get through hard times and become the best version of themselves. I am off campus so I study from home and this allows for additional time with the pets and keeping an eye on the house. This is part of why I have decided to do house sitting. The other reason is that I really enjoy it! I enjoy the variety of living in new places and meeting new and interesting people such as you! House sitting provides an enjoyable and adventurous lifestyle for me. I have a current national police security check. In my work I have gained security clearances at the highest level that have allowed me to work at government sites such as ports, airports, government offices and defence sites which you need to have a clean record to obtain. I hope this indicates to you my trustworthiness. I have my own car and am independent in my style of living.Pets I have looked after:I go above and beyond with pet care. I love all types of animals and have looked after almost everything you could find in a backyard. This includes mostly dogs, cats and budgies, but also parrots, stick-insects, lizards, snakes, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs and even a tarantula! I do my best to not disrupt your pet’s routines so I feed them and walk them as close as possible to the same time that you do. I am happy to spend extra time with needy animals that get upset when their owners are away. I always make sure all pets eat enough each day. I also can administer medicines, worming tablets if need be. Any special dietary requirements are catered for and an extra walk or games no problem at all. In the case of an emergency, I will contact you and drive your pet immediately to your preferred vet. I have looked after many rescue cats and understand they can sometimes need extra time and affection. From 2013-2015, I saved, reared and fostered 21 stray kittens at my house. They all were tamed, vaccinated, micro chipped, de-sexed and found happy homes!Types of houses I have looked after:I have experience looking after large multi storey homes with extensive gardens and pools, houses on acreage, normal size family homes and small apartments.Extra things I can do:If you like I am happy to send you email or text updates on the house and pets so that you know everything is ok and see how your furry friends are going. Clean the pool if you have one.Mow the lawn and water the gardens.I will collect the mail every day and If you like I can forward you any important mail via email if you need me too. Put out/bring in the garbage binsStart car if needed to prevent battery going flat (please note I have my own car and would not drive yours).I leave the house fully cleaned before you come back so that you arrive to a fresh tidy home. This includes the pool and gardens. I can also mow the lawn if you need it.I can also pick up some groceries before you come home so you can take it easy when you arrive. Most people like to come home to fresh milk, bread and juice.A quick noteI also prefer that we have a written agreement that outlines my duties with detailed instructions, vet contact, trusted person or family member contact (if you are overseas), authority to be in the house while your away (Id like it if the neighbours don’t think I am squatting in your house!) and any other things that may be needed to be carried out around the house. I am happy to send you some references if you request. If I sound like the type of house or pet sitter that you would like then please contact me.I look forward to hearing from you.Best wishesBrett

I am a single professional, self-employed Australian with two adult sons (pursuing their own careers). With no family around me, I no longer need to be based in one location. I enjoy the freedom that house sitting offers where I can be a devoted animal lover to other people's pets while enjoying your location. Being agile and moving to different cities suits my Internet based (email traffic, not heavy downloads) work very well and as I have lived in almost all of Australia's capitals & various cities overseas, I am very much at home wherever I am. I will consider any sit with a preference for long house sits (3-12months). I am open to being in any location, city or region…here are some of my favourites: NYC, Spain, Malta, Central America, Chile, most countries in Europe and NZ. I am self employed as a facilitator, business management consultant and executive coach where I conduct my work 'virtually' via the Internet & Skype. This means I can work anywhere as long as I have fast, reliable Internet. Why I want to house sitThrough past house sitting experience & as a home owner with my own regular house sitter, I recognise the value of house sitting to pet lovers & security for your home while giving me flexibility & variety in lifestyle. I have travelled extensively over the years and am resourceful and socially inclusive. Your pets and home will receive my responsible and loving attention and I will be proactive by staying in touch to keep you informed about how everything is going without being a burden. You can learn more about me via my LinkedIn and business websites which I'd be happy to send you, along with my CV, biography and character referees, for information. I live simply and cleanly and will be very respectful of your home, belongings, security and privacy. I don't own a car, so, I’d welcome the use of a car if possible please, especially for overseas or remote/ distance house sits.My experience & promise to youI promise warmth, openness, transparency and genuine care of your pet family and your home. My 'home based' work allows me to offer a strong presence & companionship for your home & pets. I have been an Australian Army Officer with a top secret positive vet security clearance (21yr), consultant to most Australian Commonwealth Govt departments and 3yrs as deputy chair and director Crime Stoppers & National Trust boards. I pride myself on maintaining high integrity, sound judgement, balance, reliability and being a proactive communicator. I'm also very loving and gentle with animals. You can depend on me to keep you informed and to make decisions about your pets and home with your priorities in mind. I am comfortable with all types of animals and those with special needs. I will reach out to people in your immediate community network, as advised by you, if needed. I've been a home owner for 25+yr, an animal lover for life and I know the value of a quality house sitter. I've had the joy of 7yrs experience as a host to my own house sitter, so I fully understand and respect the responsibility that comes with this position. I am also a 'live-in' sitter for people with frequent short absences, so I can be there while you come and go. My aim is to give you absolute peace of mind while you are absent while having a cost effective home solution for myself (as a 'local'!) in a new environment. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet family. My previous hosts are all happy to chat with you and I can email you their references if you wish. Wherever possible, if I am in your city, I will always try to meet with you and your pets in advance of the sit so we know that 'everyone' is comfortable. Warmly, LisaNOTE: It's always worth checking in with me in case I am free due to hosts' change of plans. I like to make contact in advance with potential hosts so we can see if we're a fit (for your pets, you & me) in advance of a future sit. Let's chat!

Hello Home Owners! This year I am focusing on house-sitting around the Toowoomba area; some areas in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast . Petrol costs too much to go further afield, unfortunately.Being a pensioner, and a retired teacher,I decided House-Sitting was my only way of having a break/ holiday from home. I have done several successful years of pet and home-sitting ..all with dogs, cats, birds, fish , etc., and even a pet python. I am police-checked a few times over [ for volunteer work], and hold a current Blue Card. I carry a pet first aid kit in my car.I am a keen gardener, and cook..you may find a meal in your fridge or freezer on your return.I am used also to looking after pools.I am an inveterate animal-lover, with a rural back-ground. I do not smoke , and have the occasional Guinness. I don't throw wild parties.. nor even sedate dinner-parties, as meagre pensions don't run to that!!!! I bring my own mobile larder, laptop, printer, mobile internet modem for my emails , and mobile phone with unlimited calls, so I do not need much, apart from some space in the fridge and the freezer, and access to wifi for my web searches. I have my own transport..a battered Falcon wagon with three dog restraints in the back.Currently, I do not have any pets of my own, as my beloved Westie, Cailan, passed away last year.References are available.
I have been an owner of dogs for 20 years. I am pet friendly, responsible and reliable. I am of good character and trustworthy both with your home and your pets - something that is very important to me, and I empathise with the decision to have someone in your home taking care of your precious pets. When I go away I have pet sitters come to my home so my dogs are in a safe familiar environment in my absence. I am fit and healthy (non smoker) and am able to walk dogs and maintain a clean house. I will respect your home and your privacy. My partner is a stock agent. He is very capable with all requisites re the land and animals. He has cats and aviaries and Ollie the cockatoo. He is a real farm gem. He also works as a gardener on a property in the Western District. He is very capable and versatile and can and will turn his hand to anything. I am interested in house sits by myself, or with Wes, depending on your requirements.Hope we can assist each other .

We are experienced Aussie housesitters, retired accountant and agricultural scientist, grey nomads, non smokers, and both dog and cat lovers, having owned our own pets all our lives, and looked after numerous and various animals as housesitters for other homeowners, like yourselves. My husband and I were introduced to the concept of housesitting when we retired in July 2005. Since then, we have combined travel with housesitting in Australia, New Zealand, England and Europe and made lifelong friends along the way. So far, we have undertaken 100+ housesits over the past 12 years since retiring from full time employment. For ourselves during the course of our life, we have owned large dogs; boxers and german shepherds – all obedience trained - also cats, fish and poultry. We both retired from our jobs in the Northern Territory and sold our home, with a swimming pool, owned for 20 years. We plan on continuing to travel whilst we are healthy and until we get the travel bug out of our system. Our motto is to treat your home and pets as we would expect our own home and pets to be treated - with respect, love and care.I was born and bred on a farm in South Australia, lived there for 21 years before moving to the Northern Territory, where my working life continued as an accountant. My husband is a Queenslander, and worked as an agricultural scientist in 2 Australian states, during the course of his working career. We can provide written references, photos and police clearances, if you require further info. – but basically, we are just ‘grey nomads’ – enjoying retirement and travelling around England, Europe and Australia whilst we still have our health and are able to travel. Thanks for your time
Hi there! We are an Aussie female couple. Nat is an ex-Australian Federal Police Agent and Jodie an Ex-Resort & Accommodation Manager. Now aged in our late 40's we have been happily moving around the world as FULL-TIME PET & HOUSE SITTERS since early 2013.Our references from over 40 home owners who we have loved sitting for, sometimes many times over during the last 5 years, are attached to this profile as individual documents from each year (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). We can also provide phone and contact details for verbal references if you prefer.A bit about us...Natalie enjoyed a 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police, and Jodie has over 20 years experience in hotel and resort management, tourism and hospitality throughout Australia. We bring this knowledge, care and responsibility to your home. To say we love house sitting is an understatement. As natural teachers, we have spent the last few years helping others get started as confident and caring house sitters through our online course, the 'House Sitting Academy' and our own private network of quality sitters. This work does involve us needing reliable internet on any house sit we take on. Since the majority of our time is spent working online, we would spend most of our days and nights at home with your pet/s. For more information about us, including all our references and projects, please visit our personal site at www(dot)NatnJodie(dot)com. We always love meeting with home owners through Skype video so we can make a personal connection with you and your pets, and feel into whether we are the perfect match for each other. WHAT WE BRING TO YOU... OUR BACKGROUNDS - We are a vibrant & active couple who love animals & nature, connection and learning about new cultures and people. We bring our vitality to your pets and property, to spend quality time with your animals each day, giving them the same love & care we have given to our own pets since we were young, and to care for your property. Nat's 13 year career in the Australian Federal Police (certificate available on request) was spent largely in VIP Protection looking after the Australian Prime Minister, overseas Heads of Government, and various royal families, and a further 6 months in East Timor serving with the United Nations. Jodie has over 20 years tourism and hospitality experience, managing and maintaining various sized properties and Resorts all over Australia. We have both grown up with many pets in our lives since very young (including a many varieties of dogs, birds, Diamond Pythons, and tropical & freshwater fish) so having pets and looking after them is second nature to us; In fact it is strange not to have pets in our lives. We now always choose house sits with pets where we can. OUR PREVIOUS HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE -Between us we have done over 40 house & pet sits over many years in various countries, which has taken us from extremely remote rural properties, to snow environments, tropical jungles, the inner city, suburban and smaller village life. Along our journey we have also had to deal with extremes of climates and environments, from humid rainy season jungles, hurricane season in the Caribbean, sub-zero snow conditions in a number of Canadian & US winters, to living at altitude (3000+ meters), and are equally comfortable in all. We have also been involved in the professional training of several dogs we have minded.Due to Jodie's background, some of our assignments have included the management of in-house staff, B&B's and holiday Gites (self contained) for which we have been paid. Outside of such assignments however, we DO NOT charge for our house sitting, instead being massive advocates of the fair exchange aspect of house sitting and the ‘Sharing Economy’. OUR OWN PROPERTY EXPERIENCE -Over the years we have both owned our own homes as well as multiple investment properties between us. As such we are well used to:• Caring for and maintaining property• Chlorine and salt water pools• Jacuzzis• Indoor and outdoor plants, gardens, lawns, greenhouses and vegetable gardens• The responsibility for the general running of a household We both appreciate the importance and value of owning a home, possessions and pets. YOUR PRIVACY & SECURITY –With our Federal Police & Resort Management backgrounds, security & privacy is of utmost importance for us, and we fully appreciate it is for you as a home owner providing your home & possessions for house sitting. You can be completely assured your home and assets will be completely secure and maintained with us. Natalie held an Australian ‘Top Secret’ security clearance for many years in her Federal Police VIP Protection work.WHY DO WE LOVE HOUSE SITTING? Simply put, this is our life & our livelihood! Our internet based education business has enabled us to break free of any fixed location for work & allowed us to live a full-time 'digital nomadic' lifestyle since early 2013... a lifelong dream for both of us! 97% of our time has been spent house sitting since we left our previous fixed location of Dubai in 2013, and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. To us, experiencing back-to-back house sits with absolute ease since we started really shows us that we living our heartfelt purpose... and it certainly feels that way. We envisage living this lifestyle for many years to come, especially since sharing house sitting experiences and tips to inspire others to experience it, has now become the focal point of our business itself.House sitting is an incredible lifestyle for us, combining so many things we love. We absolutely adore the company of animals to break up our work life and enrich our experience, and enjoy constantly experiencing different locations & people of the world.Ultimately, we find ourselves at this stage of our lives really desiring to not just travel, but live for periods in different locations around the world for our own enriching experiences and to also facilitate our business ventures.Thankyou for taking the time to read our profile. We really look forward to connecting with you & seeing if we are the perfect match for each other. KindlyNat & Jodie
About Zoe---Hello! I am excited to be able to offer you my experience in caring for my homes and pets over the years! I was a pharmacist for 35 years, and yes....that means I am very detail oriented and like to keep a very clean, organized home! I am fit, work out at the gym, and keep active with hiking, cycling, walking, and kayaking whenever I can! I have also done some casual housecleaning work, which I enjoyed (!). I miss my Westie cross "Chester" and within family members in Winnipeg, there are 7 cats and 4 dogs---who are ALL so much fun!Why I want to house sit---Now that my 4 children are grown and on their own, and I have downsized tremendously, I am ready to travel the world to care for homes and pets and meet new people! ( Not to mention the privilege of being able to hug, walk, feed and care for many new animal friends!) I miss not having a dog at home and really enjoy interacting with the many cats in my life---including all their unique personalities! Having grown up with a father in the Airforce, and moving a LOT, I am very adaptable to new environments and love the adventure of discovering new places and people! I am looking for longer house sits. I am a very caring, compassionate, conscientious person who loves people and animals, and am looking to use those skills in taking loving care of homes and pets so people can travel, knowing that their home and pets are in trustworthy, experienced hands! My experience---I have owned many homes over the years, while raising my children, with our dog, cat and rabbit(s)! As a single parent/homeowner, I have learned how to maintain a house well, and also to troubleshoot and know when to call for assistance! I have also earned money from housecleaning--so your house while be extra clean when you return home! I have done house sitting for my son and looked after his cat Sterling and his German Shepherd/Husky Cross- Elliott. I also have experience pet sitting cats through "Trusted House Sitters" and have 5 star references, as well as a criminal record check on that site. My own experience looking after dogs and cats within my own home comes in extremely handy. And surprisingly, as a pharmacist, I have had experience in dealing with customers and their pets regarding illnesses and medications as well! I am confident in being able to handle any health concerns with pets, as well as knowing when to call or go to the vet.****I am happy to supply my references, as well****
We are two retired guys who own a house in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and are renting it out for a year or so to drive around Australia. We would love to house and/or pet sit for other people on the way while they enjoy their time away. We have rented houses around NSW and Qld and have always treated them as if they were our own as is testament by the excellent references we have been given by the Property managers, and this is the way we would look after any properties that we are lucky enough to sit. We have had extensive experience with both domestic animals...cats, dogs, birds etc. after having owned all of these at some stage...one of which is shown in the pic I have uploaded...as well as farm animals whilst owning acreage in NSW and Qld.We are both extremely clean & tidy people, non smokers and like to ride push bikes, play tennis and go to sporting events like AFL, Rugby League, tennis etc.
We are a clean-living, non-smoking, pet-loving, retired couple, both in our early 60's. Our focus is to provide high quality care for your much-loved pets & your home. We are experienced House-Sitters, and enjoy an impeccable reputation. Since starting out in September 2007, we've looked after many rural acreage properties at Bodalla NSW, Bathurst NSW, Dromana Vic, Woodend Vic, Woongarrah NSW, TePuke New Zealand, Nyora Vic, Hobart Tas, Gosford NSW and Nelson Bay NSW. References and Police checks available. We have looked after big & small dogs, cats, alpacas, horses, chooks, ducks, geese, fish, & mice. So … please contact us to discuss your house-sit needs. Regards, Kevin & Dawn
Update!!! Ross needs a new hip so we had to advise all our pet sits we couldn't sit for them this year. Better to pull out now while they still have loads of time to get new sitters than mid way though a sit. We love what we do! We will be back in action ASAP so watch this space!Hi, my husband and I are recently retired teachers 62 and 63 who have lived and worked in the same area for 35 years. Of course as teachers we had regular police checks and we can also provide lots of references. After retirement we went to Canada, Hawaii, Far North Queensland and Tasmania. Yes we have caught the travel bug! We also had sits in Queensland, NSW and Tassie and would love a sit in NT, SA, and WA!! We are friendly, reliable and caring and now that we are retired, our children have grown up and our beloved pets passed away we are rattling around our house with time on our hands. We love animals and always look after all our friends and neighbours pets, houses, gardens and mail when they are away. One of them suggested pet and house sitting as it involves travelling, animals and gardening! As a retired couple we are available for any length of time and we can plan to house sit everywhere in Australia for the next 12 to 24 months after which time we hope our children will provide us with grandchildren to spoil. As my husband Ross is a very keen fisherman we try for locations close to good fishing areas and he takes his fishing boat. We will take meticulous care of your house, mail, indoor plants, veggie gardens and lovingly look after dogs, cats, birds, fish, chooks, rabbits and guinea pigs. We are more than happy to be in touch with you prior to the pet and house sit and we can also give you updates during your trip so get in touch with us any time to discuss your needs and travel dates as we will try to accommodate our time to suit your needs. We prefer the northern areas of Australia during the winter months and escaping the cold Victorian winters. Ross is a keen fisherman and gardener, I adore reading and writing and tend to be more of a home body and we both really enjoy seeing new sights and meeting new people. You can leave knowing we will take extremely good care of your pets, house and garden and while you’re away. Ross and I are looking forward to getting to know you and giving your pets our love and attention. Prior to handover we would prefer a written list of your requirements and instructions and of course contact details such as your mobile number and email address. We know the importance of trust in this relationship and can assure you of our honesty and love of animals, in fact we've found the hardest part of pet sitting is saying goodbye to the pets because we grow so fond of them. Luckily for us we have lots of repeat house sits which makes us very happy.Jo and Ross Tanner
My husband and I are both retired, although Ian does work every now and then for his previous employer (finance area). I retired 3 years ago but had been a School Admonistration Manager (14 years). I still have security clearance to work in schools, therefore have had the full criminal record check. We did our first house sitting and pet minding "job" in March and April 2015 (6 wks) and we looked after lovely little dog and cat(See Reference) and we then did another house sit, pet minding (5 wks) looking after another gorgeous dog (See Reference). Our background in brief: Five adult children. Married 42 years. We now live in an Over 50s complex and are enjoying it very much. We had previously lived at Sylvania, southern suburb of Sydney, for 35 years. Always been involved in community activities (Judy - P&C life member, and raising money for various charities. Ian - Soccer Chairmans award for volunteer work, also local Scout group committee member and volunteer work). We love pets, growing up I had a poodle, and Ian had a Jack Russell. Our family dog was a Staffie called Cypress. She was loved for 14 years, and when the timing is right we will have another Staffie. But we love all pets. We are honest and reliable, and would take good care of your home, inside and out. Ian really enjoys mowing lawns, yes he does. And I love pottering in the garden. We would now like to do more travelling and exploring of this wonderful country. Please contact us if you would like more information.
I'm an experienced house sitter and have been house sitting full time now for over 18 months and prior to that at various short term house sits for a couple of years. I have experience with many dogs, small and large and up to 3 at a time, cats, chickens and birds. I enjoy walking the dogs and happy to walk them every day, if required, have also been known to have to walk a cat as well! I have also house sat where I have had to look after a pool and spa and watering of gardens. I also consider myself to be a clean freak and will return your home in the same condition that it was when you left and will look after it as though it was my own. In recent years I have been lucky to do an apartment sit in Hiroshima Japan, and a couple of house sits in NZ. I am a non-smoker and am single and have no pets. I couldn’t have asked for better sitters! They visited beforehand to meet our dogs and I immediately felt very comfortable that Lucy and Murray would take great care of our dogs. They were very dedicated to looking after the dogs and respectful of our apartment, leaving it spic and span. Our dogs were very happy in their company as Lucy and Murray happily followed the daily routine we requested, including letting them sleep in their bed with them. I will definitely ask them to sit for us again. Fortunately Lucy & Murray were able to help us out.Lucy and Murray kept in contact throughout our trip with updates on our elderly dog Hank who required some additional care with medicine. We were very happy to also receivephotos of Murray and Hank together! The house was left immaculately with not a thing out of place. In fact the only evidence that we found of their stay was some food in the cupboards — they even left the wheelie binempty!Lucy and Murray were fantastic housesitters and we would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone.Jade van Gestel0420 750475MONA VALE NSW 2103 10 November 2015TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERNLucy & Murray of Avalon Sydney NSW were house sitters at my home x 6 weeks September & early October 2015.I have 4 dogs and it seems, during my absence, they loved them to death ! the dogs totally fell in love with Murray and Murray with the dogs. We are a close knit, fun loving little family of 3. Myself, Ngaire, I'm an Osteopath and own my business so need only be in the clinic 1 day a week, and the rest of the time I can work from home. My husband, Adam, who works for a pharmaceutical company, and our 3.5year old daughter Maeve, who just loves life, people, nature and animals. We will be taking off on an adventure around Australia in March 2018 for 6months, however we have decided to rent out our Essendon home before then, and house sit for 7 months, as we have previously had experience house sitting and loved it! At this stage, we will be available for sits any time between July 2017, and March 2018. We are non smokers, who take pride in our home and possessions, and care for anyone else's home like we would our own. We understand how it feels to trust someone else with your home and pets. We are happy to care for your home, keep it neat and clean, do extra little jobs and you can trust that your house will be in the same great condition you left it upon your return. We love to explore as a family, and enjoy walking dogs or taking them out and about. We would be pleased to care for any animal in whatever they need. Maeve is a gentle and kind 3 year old who understands appropriate behaviour with pets. Obviously, we need to care only for animals who are comfortable with children, so that we make sure she is safe. She also understands caring for other people's property and is no problem in a home that hasn't been "child proofed". You won't even notice she has been there! Previous house sitting roles have involved us caring for 2 dogs, 4 cats and multiple fish in one house in the heat of summer. We are up to the challenge! We are also fine, with just a small dog who loves a cuddle, we are pretty flexible! As a family, we love spending time exploring new places, having coffee with friends and just being together. We get out and about but also enjoy time at home so your pets would have lots of company too. We love spending time at the beach, or catching the train to the city for an explore, and of course if there is a great park around, we love a play! We are a footy loving family, though we don't agree on our teams ;-).We would love to hear from anyone looking for down to earth, relaxed but hard working people to care for your house or pets. We are open minded for any types of property. We have police checks and references available. Please feel free to contact us with any questions at all that you may have. We are so excited for the next chapter and the variety that house sitting brings and look forward to hearing from you.

Hello! We are Brittnay & Jay, a professional house sitting couple. We both have a passion for animals and travelling. We have both been raised with family pets. However, since we have made the move to travelling and working remotely full time, we both really miss the interaction with animals. We both feel strongly that pets are apart of your family and treated in such a respect. We have both grown up with an array of animals, so we firmly believe you can comfortably leave them in our capable loving company. We love to go for walks every day, which would fit perfectly for people with active pets but also are homebodies so your pets will be able to someone to use as a comfy couch in evenings :)We both work remotely, therefore we are able to be around the house more often hopefully putting your animals at ease with the company. We enjoy gardening and keeping a tidy home is something we take pride in. We believe communication is key to providing a situation in which both parties are comfortable with the house sit.We believe all our personal attributes and experiences can provide you with a fantastic service. We are happy to provide personal and police references. Please let us prove how helpful we can be.Why we want to house sitGrowing up with cats, dogs, birds and fish as family pets we both have had animals close to us our entire lives. Over the past couple of years, we have been travelling and moving around fulltime. Moving around so much it is very hard for us to have pets of our own so we love house sitting because we can get pet interaction that we both really miss. There is nothing we love more than snuggling up on the couch with a cat or dog, or going for a run along the beach with a dogs lead in hand! Our ExperienceWe have completed six house sits over 2017 & 2018. These sits range from 1 weeks to 1 month. We have looked after everything from chihuahuas, new foundlands, turtles, cats & many chickens. We have both had extensive interaction with animals growing up, including cats, dogs, fish and chickens. Both of us believe animals are apart of your family and are to be treated as such. We are both responsible and reliable individuals who guarantee your animals and property will be cared for to the highest standard. We like to have strong communication with owners, so both yourself and us feel comfortable at all times.

Hi, we are Lee and Anna, an easy-going couple, who love travelling, who would like to help you out with caring for your home and pets while you are away. We believe house sitting is a mutually beneficial experience and that the house sitters profit greatly so we would like to assure you that while you’re away your pets and home will be in the safest hands. We have only just joined Happy House Sitters, but have been enjoying house sitting and have obtained many bookings through other house sitting web sites.Ania - I was born in Poland and came to Australia in the early ‘90’s in my mid 20’s and have been a citizen almost since then. My work in Australia is office administration and more lately beauty consultancy.Lee - I'm 51, was born in the UK and am currently enjoying a sabbatical. My career has included IT, home maintenance/construction and more recently musician. We started our house sitting taking care of Benny, an energetic Australian cattle dog and his companion Two’ey, a wire-haired Jack Russell. We created a facebook page for them so their owner can keep up-to-date with them while they're away, here's a link:https://www.facebook.com/benny.tui.98?fref=ts They required walks twice a day and lots of love and affection.Since then we have cared for pets in Adelaide, Bowral, Canberra, Hervey Bay, Arakoon Beach and Newcastle in Australia, Cambridge in England and La Romana in Spain. The majority of these appointments have been looking after dogs and cats but several have included horses, birds, rabbits and sheep. This variety of experience has lead us to believe that successful sitting is only possible where the sitters are trustworthy and can be depended on to care for your home and pets reliably and is not something to be taken lightly. We want to continue house-sitting because of the freedom it affords us to experience a city or region where the cost to us is not a financial one but instead the commitment to care for your pets and home. This means we can enjoy freedom of debts and other constraints and concentrate on the diversity and flexibility that house sitting offers. We’re both young at heart, enjoy a change of scenery and the challenge a new home and it’s dependent inhabitants (your lovely pets...) bring. We like to find ourselves in new and unexpected situations with the opportunity to meet new people this presents and share a desire to help others. Some of our experiences in hotels have left us feeling just part of the crowd and we've have had our best travel experiences staying with family, friends and house-sitting, living as part of the local community which affords a greater connection to the local culture, history and lifestyle. We enjoy the company of cats, dogs and other domestic pets and will give your pets all the company and affection that you would hope them to receive while you’re away. We have both been pet owners separately and as a couple and currently our cats are in the care of Max (Lee's son) back in the UK.We enjoy spending time outdoors and both of us have a keen interest in reading, theatre and the arts. Neither of us smoke and enjoy only an occasional social drink. We have references available and some of these can be seen via our Trusted House Sitters profile here: http://www.trustedhousesitters.com/house-and-pet-sitters/14797-anusia/#
