Sharon looked after our cat, house, garden and indoor plant for us for 6 weeks, as if they were her own. We felt extremely fortunate that Sharon was available for the length of time we needed. Sharon is a very trustworthy and personable house sitter. She left everything clean and tidy for our return, including some flowers and a few food items to welcome us back. Sharon also took the time to get to know our elderly neighbor and her dog and did not hesitate to take this dog for regular walks. We thoroughly recommend Sharon as a house sitter and hope to be able to ask her to look after our cat, house and plants in the future.

I am happy to recommend Sharon as a house/pet sitter. She looked after my 2 dogs and house for a month and was great! She sent emails with photos and videos to let me know how my furry friends were doing. It was clear that she treated them with love. I found Sharon through Happy Housesitters. I would definitely recommend Sharon after she stayed at our place twice, including the last one for just over a month. Sharon has been outstanding looking after our 2 ragdoll cats who need a lot of care and attention. Our cats love her and felt very comfortable with her. She has a great relation with animals. I have used Sharon on 3 occasions. My dogs are the most important thing in a house Sitter and Sharon is amazing. They are super comfortable with her and love seeing her every time. We are very happy to give a good referral for Sharon, who we found through Happy Housesitters. This was the first time we used a housesitter so we were a bit worried, however Sharon has given us piece of mind, always sending us emails and text updates with photos and videos of Timmy. She stayed in our house for 1 month looking after our cavoodle. On our return the house was pretty much the way we left, very clean also! lgtrr |ulY 2017 To whom it may concern Sharon Burgess house-sat for us in our inner city apartment for 2 weeks in |uly Z0!7 , taking care of our two Rainbow Lorikeets while we travelled overseas. Our lorikeets are free-flighted in the apartment. They require daily medication and have different dietary needs. They are friendly and gregarious once familiar with new people, but are quite set in their ways and can be a challenge to manage. Sharon visited the apartment and met the birds twice before we left. She was comfortable interacting with them, asked lots of sensible and well-informed questions and was respectful of their initial reticence in her company' She sent updates and photos while we were away so I could see that the birds were comfortable with her and that everything was in hand. We were due home on the Sunday morning but our flights were delayed and we did not get home until Monday. The delay became apparent on the Friday evening. At that point, I sent Sharon a text asking whether she could stay on for an extra day, and she quickly confirmed that she could. I was very grateful for this as I felt it went well beyond the bounds of our agreement. We returned from our trip to find two very healthy and happy birds who had obviously enjoyed their time with Sharon. The apartment was neat and tidy, there was a lovely vase of flowers, a bowl of fresh fruit and plenty of food and treats provided for the birds. Sharon Burgess stayed in our house in East St Kilda and minded our cat Nova whilst we were away for 3 weeks in June/July 2017. This was the very first time we used the Happy House Sitters site and I must admit that we were a bit apprehensive at first about entrusting a stranger with our house and pet. However, our concerns turned out to be baseless. Sharon was delightful: warm and reassuring at the very first meeting. We came back to a spotless house, with flowers and fruit to welcome us. Even the garden was swept and weeded. Our cat seemed content and well fed. Sharon also kept in touch with us whilst we were away reassuring us that all was going well. She certainly exceeded our expectations and we hope that she'll be able to mind our house and cat in the future again..

Sharon was just wonderful with our Labrador Beanz who can be a bit excitable. Right from the first moment they met Sharon was able to control her gently with the attention she needed but without letting Beanz control the situation. Sharon gave us lovely updates of her adventures with Beanz while we were away and they were the best of mates. We came home to a beautifully well kept home and a lovely note welcoming us home. Sharon will be welcome with us anytime and we are hoping that based on how well liked she is by her other house sits that she will be available next time we need someone.

Sharon has been a wonderful sitter to out two cats, Archie and Ollie. Our ragdolls cats can be easily stressed but they both absolutely adored Sharon from the moment she entered the house. We came back to a spotless house, lawn was mowed, and very happy boys. We even had lovely flowers on the kitchen table and as we arrived late in the evening, some nibbles. All in all fabulous. Sharon cared for our animals for two weeks and we are very grateful for the care she provided. The menagerie consists of four steers, a dozen chooks, a German shepherd, two cats and a goldfish. I met Sharon through Happy Housesitters. Sharon has been an excellent sitter for my home and pets in East St Kilda.. Her references checked out perfectly. We met for a coffee and intro to the furs (who all took to her from the first contact!). We discovered we had a bit in common and the relationship has developed from there. Sharon minded my home and pet for 10 days the first time and I returned to a very calm well kept hose hold with both dogs and the cat all in a fabulous routine and obviously very happy and well. Sharon is a born animal lover and is very loving and caring with my animals. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She has dropped me to the airport and picked me up also. She has worked in with maintenance plans for the building and with tradies etc when necessary. Sharon also house sat a second time. This time for an extended period of 6 weeks. She send me regular updates and pictures of the furs and regular updates on the home and their activities. I feel very comfortable leaving Sharon to mind my life while I am away working. She follows my direction and is conscientious about my requests. She has helpful suggestions and creative ideas to keep things running smoothly in my absence. Sharon is mature responsible kind caring reliable and trustworthy. She has just the right balance of independence and accountability to give an absent home owner peace of mind. I have booked Sharon well in advance for another sit and will continue to plan forward so I can be sure I have her when I need her. My only misgiving with this reference is that she may be unavailable for me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon when she came to house/cat sit for me while I was away for three months earlier this year (2017). I can't talk highly enough of how much I appreciate Sharon, she is honestly one of the warmest people you will ever meet. She just ooses a love for animals and cared for my little ginger cat Denny from the second she met him. It felt like I suddenly had a long lost aunty! Sharon was always so easy to get in touch with, so easy to talk to, so easy to make plans with and always so happy. While I was away she kept me up to date with how my little kitty cat was going including photos. She kept my house cared for and looked after and clean. She had maintained everything that needed maintaining. My Denny was so well looked after, I know he got lots of pats. When I came home the house was exactly as I left it but with a mini herb garden on my kitchen table! Sharon is honestly such a lovely lady and I know my cat thought so too. Sharon house sat for us for a week and a half over Easter 2017, looking after our home, our dog, five chooks and fish. She came to meet with me prior to the house sit, and I found her to be personable. I was particularly impressed with the instant connection she made with our dog, Stella. Sharon is a great communicator, sharing messages and pictures of the adventures she took Stella on. Our dog really likes company, and when Sharon went out, she often took Stella with her rather than leave her alone. When we returned home, the house was immaculate, there were flowers in a vase and supplies in the fridge to get us started. But most strikingly, the morning after we returned Stella thoroughly searched the house, looking for Sharon. They clearly had made a great connection.
