I have been a housesitter for 8 years now and still enjoy meeting some lovely dogs, cats and their owners as well as having the freedom to discover living in different inner city suburbs.
I would love the opportunity to care for your house and precious pets and plants.
Single, independent and flexible, I am a friendly, quiet and mature professional woman in my early sixties. No pets or children, just a car and some suitcases..
I am self employed and my part-time work allows me to be flexible in how I organise the day. This is useful to keep the pets company, maintain their routine, walk and play with the dogs and cats. I will seen to be around during the day and in most evenings so your house will not appear to be unoccupied. I'll happily talk to/tend your plants and will carefully follow your watering instructions, especially for those delicate orchids.
Responsible, dependable and reliable, I have experience with and really enjoy sharing affection with small animals. Growing up my family always had dogs so I have a special affinity with dogs. I love cats too and have happily looked after rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots and fed visiting hungry magpies and lorikeets who expect the owners to be there waiting for them to arrive each day.
I am a non-smoker, clean and very respectful of others, their homes, privacy and belongings. I am a quiet calm person (definitely not a party person) and will spend a good deal of my time playing with and caring for the pets and maintaining your property in your absence.
I would like to do housesits in Inner Sydney in order to limit transport time and to be able to spend more time with the pets I am looking after. Many of my housesits have centred around the Balmain/Rozelle, Rose Bay and Elizabeth Bay areas and I really enjoy repeat housesits.
I would be happy to provide solid references.
