We like to house sit as it lets us experience another area and neighbourhood in a relaxed friendly way. We have done a lot of travelling and many house sits in Australia and overseas- several in England and Scotland and one in Turkey over the last 10+ years. We are clean and careful people and house owners have been appreciative of our efforts.
We are tidy, practical people who like walking and being active and exploring new areas. We enjoy the company of animals and have farm experience, useful for emergencies and have had family pets in the past. High maintenance and high energy pets are not suitable for us.
We cannot come to a 'smoking' house. We use our own vehicle so location near transport is not necessary.
We have just returned from 6 weeks house sitting in the Western Isles of Scotland and would enjoy short sits in city areas.
