We are a mature couple (58 and 62) and are both retired. We'd be very happy to come and look after your home while you are away and would treat your home and pets as we do ours, with all care. My husband Graeme and I are both active with plenty of bush walking and sailing and have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs and even smaller critters. I'm comfortable with farm animals and can ride a horse. I enjoy the garden and would be very happy pottering around, watering, mowing, sweeping - whatever.
Ive recently completed a Certificate in Animal Care through TAFE and Graeme is currently studying for his PhD spending a lot of time working on that. We have a home on the northern beaches of Sydney. Our neighbours are knocking down and rebuilding their home so we will be renting our home to them for the duration, leaving our dogs with them and hope, expect, to be travelling / house sitting for a year. We have done some house sitting already with return visits (or requests to return) and can supply references should you want them.
