About
Hello, I am very keen to house sit in Sydney, a city which I've visited many times and which has much to offer. My daughter lives there too, so another reason for frequent visits. I recently stopped working as a university lecturer and currently I'm writing up a Phd at The University of Sydney. I am fastidious, tidy and would treat your home with care and respect. I have owned a black labrador and a chihuahua/terrier, very different in temperaments and personalities but equally lovable. I also like cats and I could cope with birds. I'm health, safety and security conscious as is my husband, Rob. We are vigilant about closing windows and locking doors when we go out.
In our spare time we have many interests including walking, yoga, writing, reading and visiting France most years. We like to socialise but we're not party people, preferring quieter dinner parties. I'm a sophisticated, gracious person who treats people with respect and consideration, irrespective of their background or culture. I like to think that I'm non-judgmental. I would look after pets with care and also be diligent in watering plants, putting out rubbish and keeping the place immaculate so that the homeowner returns to the home he/she left behind.
I would be the main housesitter but my husband, Rob, may join me for some or part assignments.
In New Zealand police checking is different from Australia in that the individual cannot request a check on himself/herself but we have had police clearance in the past when hosting international students. I can supply references from people who have known us for a long time and know how we live.
I'd be happy to answer any further questions. Thank you for your consideration.
