Hi There!!
My name is Jess, and I first discovered house-sitting a couple of years ago with my partner at the time - we had returned from a long overseas trip, and found it a great way to settle back home before finding our new place.
Fast forward a few years and I have just returned from living overseas for a year, and am looking to do the same now - I have house-sat for around 8 different people from a week, to two months and love exploring new parts of Melbourne, loving people's pets (as I can't have my own at the moment), and discovering new running tracks!
I am an IT Manager, and I love animals; I spent 2 years working at the Lost Dogs' Home in Melbourne and loved hanging out and helping with the animals on a daily basis, as part of this job I did a lot of foster care of pets that needed a little love!! My most recent job was working within the transport industry before heading off to travel, and I spent the last 8 months working remotely from overseas and gaining my PADI scuba diving certifications. My main love in life is running, aiming for another marathon this year!
As well as house-sitting I have used Airbnb, and couchsurfing and have got excellent reviews on both - which I can provide upon request.
I am respectful, clean, and tidy and treat others homes like I would like mine to be treated.

Jess and Kane are loving and respectful and adventurous guests who show appreciation for everything Jency and I did for them. We hung out together, watched movies, ate dinner, played with our dogs, and they rode our bikes around the city. We wish they could have stayed longer! Can't wait to visit them in Australia.

Jess and Kane came through Philly on their big trip across the U.S. We had the pleasure of hosting them two nights, but we would have been glad to have them for longer. We had an awesome time showing them around our neighborhood and doing a little bar crawl. They are both extremely friendly, easy-going people. We'd love to come back to Melbourne someday and hang with them again!
