We're an active middle-aged couple. At the end of 2015 we sold our 12 acre hobby farm south of Hobart, Tasmania, where we lived for 19 years, breeding alpacas and providing agistment for miniature ponies.
We had mini long-haired dachshunds (our kids) during this time and also worked for a dog minding company providing holiday care for dogs in our home.
In Feb 2016 we bought an apartment close to Hobart and have spent the past two winters house-sitting in Queensland and New South Wales. We are hoping to do some more travelling, both in Australia and overseas. House sitting allows us to see many different places while still also having the company of animals, especially dogs.
I am a volunteer with Guide Dogs Australia and also for the Dogs Home in Hobart and I also provide doggy daycare and og walking in Hobart over the summer months. We both have experience with many breeds and ages, as well as dogs with special needs.
We are very quiet-living, private and tidy people and will care for your pets, home and garden as our own.
