We are a semi-retired couple living in North Queensland. My husband is a retired pilot, and I was a teacher. We are looking at house-sitting from time to time in the Brisbane area, as we come to Brisbane occasionally for family reasons. We have done house-sitting before for colleagues when we were working in India, as they preferred someone in the house when they were on vacation. We looked after the house and garden, and also looked after pets. We ourselves used to have a dog - a Border collie - but after he passed away, we have not had pets, as we have been doing a lot of travelling and it was not possible to look after animals. We both like animals and have had a variety of animals/pets in our lives including dogs, cats and horses. We have a simple lifestyle and enjoy sports such as walking, running and swimming. We are both tidy people, and take pride in keeping our own house and garden neat and tidy. Our previous house had a swimming pool so we know how to look after pools. Neither of us smoke. We are prepared to look after your house and garden, care for your pets while you are away. We consider ourselves to be caring, responsible people and can supply references if required.
