About
References available, Police check available, Non smoker, Experience with Domestic Animals, Experience with Farm Animals

Hi all, My name's Lewis, i'm 27 years old from Kangaroo Valley on the South Coast of N.S.W. I currently work as a Public Health Researcher in the Charles Perkins Centre, a Public Health Research Centre at the University of Sydney. I've just returned from a year in Fiji where i worked as a development advisor for Cricket Fiji, helping to develop the sport of cricket (particularly grassroots, disabilities and womens cricket) across the country. Prior to this i worked in property management and landscape gardening in Kangaroo Valley, mainly maintaining and building gardens for weekender properties.

Why i want to house-sit/ Experience with animals

I grew up on a dairy farm with 160 cows, two dogs, 3 horses, ducks, chickens etc. To keep it short i really miss having animals, and now living in Sydney, house sitting is a great way to have animals around, even if only for a short period. After a busy day of work i love coming home and relaxing with pets and going on long walks with doggies exploring the area. Also growing up in a small rural town i enjoy the quiet of living by myself in Sydney.

Housesitting experience

I have just completed two housesits in Sydney and absolutely loved them. The first was a two-week house sit for a family of four in Leichhardt, Sydney looking after two cats. To be honest they were quite low maintenance and my job was confined to keeping them company, feeding time, and looking after the house. The second was a three week housesit for a family of four in Paddington, Sydney looking after a 10-year old pug named 'Tonka'. Tonka and I enjoyed morning and afternoon walks, as well as breakfast and dinner together. I was also responsible for giving Tonka various medicines and treatments day and night. Both families would be happy to speak to you on the phone or over email about my role looking after their house and animals.

Why i'd make a good house-sitter

I love animals and have a lot of experience with them from a young age, work 8:30-4:30 so can do both morning and afternoon walks, have a stable job, like to live a quiet life outside of work, am a non-smoker, clean and tidy, have house sitting experience, can provide referees, am single so only one of me, can provide working with children check and Federal police check

All the best,

Lewis!
