We are a married couple, both 73-year-old non-smokers and still very mobile. Looking for houses to sit from 1 October 2019 to 15 January 2020 whilst we're on the Sunshine Coast. Our daughter and her family live in Chevallum and have been Australian citizens since 2006. Although currently "living" in Cape Town, South Africa, we have been granted permanent residency in Australia and are in the process of relocating to the Sunshine Coast, thus our long stay. We’ve visited Australia every year since 2001. We did many house sits on the Sunshine Coast - see the references the house owner provided. We love animals, the outdoors and enjoy gardening. We've been house owners since 1974 and promise to take excellent care of your property. We can come and introduce ourselves whenever it would suit you after our arrival on 1 October 2019.

Well, what can I say ... Gene & Cecily were absolutely amazing house sitters! They were polite and so kind toward us and all our requests with our home and our animals. They were incredible with their loving sincerity and compassion toward our animals. They even gave us regular and in-depth updates on our fur babies. I would be more than happy to recommend them for any house sitting jobs and as I have stated they are wonderful with animals. I am sure we will have them sit for us again in the future. I cannot recommend Gene and Cecily enough. They were a delightful friendly couple who looked after our home and our two cats whilst we were overseas. We did not meet them prior to them commencing house sitting for us however we were very comfortable knowing they would be in our home as our queries were answered in a prompt and professional manner as well as the other very positive comments from previous home owners. I wish them the very best in their endeavours and I have recommended them to friends. Thankyou once again Gene ad Cecily for taking good care of our cats and home.

Cecily and Eugene looked after our house and most importantly our 12 year old golden retriever Monty for the month of July 2018. They have done a wonderful job. They kept in contact with us during our holiday to make sure we knew everything was fine. We came home to a happy contented dog and a home that was spotless.
