Retired Couple - we make your time away safe, secure and worry-free.
We are Yvonne and John and are experienced housesitters who are responsible and good with animals. We started housesitting in 2017, having a Covid-inspired break in 2020/21. During this time some regular homeowners offered us housesits as we were living in a caravan and appreciated having more space for a time. We wish to continue housesitting for a while to experience living in different parts of Australia and help people who want to have holidays knowing that their pets and homes will be well cared for.
John’s work experience has been in building management, maintenance and security work.
Yvonne has been in hotel reception, owner of a millinery business and ESL teaching. We also both managed a Youth Camp.
Our experience in animal care has been with cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, chickens, goats, sheep, alpacas and horses.
We are based in Geelong, Victoria, but will consider any area to experience life in other parts of Australia.
We always leave your home clean and tidy for you to return to and will send you messages and photos of your pets without imposing on your holiday time.
We are adaptable and trustworthy and have never cancelled out on a homeowner.
Our interests together are reading, movies, time with family and discovering new places to see and learn about. Yvonne enjoys sewing, art and genealogy. John likes watching sport.
