About
We are experienced, reliable, honest and non-smoking. We have been house sitting full time since October 2017. We have cared for everything from a 700-acre sheep farm in country Victoria, to a quail farm in Dongara, and many suburban and rural homes in SA, Qld, and NSW.
We are recently retired. Jim retired after 30 years working for IBM in the USA and Australia. Shelly was a hair designer for 20 years in Denver. Having retired, we want to "try out" different communities around Australia before settling down.
We have always had pets, both dogs and cats, and they seem to love us (in the case of dogs) and cherish the peaceful co-existence we provide (for cats). Hehe. For five years, Shelly was a volunteer at pet rescue centres in Denver, USA and is a certified Foster Mum for cats in WA. Jim lived on a farm for five years with ducks, chickens, sheep, horses, and guinea pigs and Shelly's family owned a tourist farm in Michigan, USA with domestic, farm and exotic animals.
We promise we will take great care of your home and everything in it, your pets, and your garden as you would yourself.
We are available for any length of time after 1 March 2020. Personal and professional references are available, as are police certificates.
