We are an energetic retired couple who live in Tasmania and have done for most of our lives. We raised our family there and continue to live in our family home that we built over 50 years ago.We are looking for opportunities to house sit near our 2 sons and their families who live in Annandale NSW. For the past 3 years we have had the pleasure of housesitting one of my daughter in-law's friends homes while they travelled both mid-year and Christmas time for upwards of 6 weeks at a time. Unfortunately the family are relocating overseas in December this year meaning we no longer have that opportunity.Without having somewhere to stay nearby for extended periods we are facing Christmas alone in Tasmania which is not something we look forward to.Since our youngest son relocated to Sydney in September last year, now spend our time between Tasmania and Annandale. We are currently travelling with our caravan until the end of September but hope to return for Christmas to spend with our children and grand children.When house sitting in Annandale for the past 3 years we have managed the upkeep on a 4 bedroom home with in ground pool and provided love and care for their elderly Staffordshire dog named 'Maisey' who has chronic arthritis requiring ongoing rehabilitation and medication.We are both extremely house proud, I love to cook and David is very handy and loves to help me in the garden. We are able to provide a reference in regards to our house sitting in Annandale should you require one.
