I am a mature father of two teenagers. I am separated and looking to live near to where they are living. I have owned a house for many years with a large garden and pool and a dog. The dog was shared care, and the pool and garden were almost all me. It was all very well cared for! And I love animals and I love being outside, particularly close to water or trees :) My Facebook name is Rob Goodridge, Sydney Australia. There are some public posts which might be informative. I've been pet sitting for 3 years though only a few months each year when I feel the urge to be with a pet. I keep the homes I have lived in neat, clean and tidy. And I'm a handyman and can fix issues as they arise. Any and all issues are discussed with the owner to see how best to proceed. References are available on my profile and you'll find my Police Check there too. The Police Check says "At the date of issue (01/09/2017) there are zero disclosable court outcomes recorded". And you can sight my driving license to confirm I am the person in the Police Check. I am employed full time and work from home at least 3 days per week and sometimes more. If there is a need to be present most of the day, I can work from home the whole week. Oh, and I race a skiff sailing boat on Sydney Harbour. Yeehah!

Rob has housesit for us 3 times in the last 18 months and has done a great job looking after our very anxious cat and the house. The house is always spotless when we come home and he is very understanding about our crazy cat’s whims. I would happily recommend him to other pet/homeowners

Rob looked after our house and cat for a month in April 2018. He kept the house immaculate, the garden neat and fertilised, and the cat happy. Even the neighbours were impressed. He is personable and friendly, and I highly recommend him as a house sitter.

Rob has been an amazing cat sitter for us since April 2017 when we moved here from Melbourne. We tend to go back to Melbourne almost every two months and away for weekend escapes. Rob loves our cat, Mango and ensures that Mango gets plenty of play time and attention. We always come home to a spotless house, often with the sheets in the washing machine or already out on the line. Mango is always super happy and relaxed when we get home meaning Rob has given the attention and care to Mango that he needs. We're incredibly happy and fortunate to have found Rob to look after Mango and our home each time we go away.

Rob looked after our home in Sydney, along with our Cavalier King Charles, for 6 weeks over the 2017/18 Christmas. Our Cavalier requires twice daily medication and careful monitoring of her health, and Rob was extremely diligent in managing these. Rob did a wonderful job looking after both our home and dog, and we would highly recommend him for any future house sits. We will definitely approach Rob to see if he is available for any future house sits we may need.
