I am a Swiss citizen, born and bred in Brazil currently living in Switzerland. I lived in Australia (Northern Beaches NSW ) from December 2001 until January 2013.A true blue sheila, one could say.I am vegetarian, non smoker,fond of animals ( mainly dogs and cats but no hamsters or guinea pigs).I have been a house sitter since 2015. I have had assignments in Brazil, Switzerland and Australia.While in Australia I worked in aged care and have references from clients and friends.I am a retired language teacher and am now self employed giving the occasional private lesson. I am also a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner.I am a bibliophile and my hobbies are: reading, writing, swimming, travelling.I am keen on multiculturalism and languages.I am currently working on my second book as well as writing short stories.
Marvi is an amazing house sitter. I can not speak highly enough of her. my animals ( 3 cats ) totally cared for and happy. My house spotless. great lady and great house sitter. She has done 2 sits for us, One 7 weeks and another 2 weeks. I she answers your add grab her. Debbie

Marvi is a very reliable person, who faces her commitments with dedication and discipline. We have know each other for a long time and she has already been a sitter at our house in many different occasions. She loves pets so leaving our 5 dogs with her was just perfect. She not only took care of them (feeding and walking with them) but she also gave them lots of love and attention. Regarding her personality I would say she is a very sociable person, open to learn and extremelly respectful as far as different cultures and habits are concerned. I would say she is the ideal person to be a house sitter.

Marvi is a very friendly and open minded person. It's easy to share flat with her. She is organised and responsibly. Because she did already a lot of housesitting, I can really recommend her.

I have known Marvi Ruegg for over 20 years and she is a decent, honest and reliable person. She has looked after my house and pet bird while I've been on holiday and I was very happy for her to do this. I can thoroughly recommend Marvi Ruegg as a house sitter.
