Hi, I am a fulltime professional housesitter and have been doing this now for 10 Years. I specialise in looking after cats as I have grown up with them around me from the age of 5 and have a great connection to them. I do not not smoke or consume alcohol and also follow a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. (I am still happy to feed your pets with meat). I just recently had to add the bit about alcohol as people would often leave me a gift of wine and beer which was very thoughtful. I have decided to slow down my life and take a break from the treadmill of work by travelling around the world, slowly. By doing it this way I get to see more of the world through the eyes of the local communities as well as well as help others who do not want to leave their loved ones in a strange environment with people who will not have much time for them. I gave up my full time job as an IT consultant to work on my hobby which is producing videos for youtube. This means that I tend to spend a lot of time indoors so your pets will have me around a lot more then the average person. I have lived on my own for many years but now travel around and meet people from all walks of life which is a truly amazing way to experience life.

I do not follow the average persons lifestyle in that I practice meditation and yoga. I also on average go to bed about 9:30 and wake up around 5:30 as I like to take in the peaceful mornings and go for a walk practicing mindfulness meditation especially along a beach or park.

I read David's profile and was interested because of his clean lifestyle. Also I wanted someone who works from home or spends time at home because Shammy my 18 year old cat likes company. I also took note that David has cared for felines in the past and this added to my reason for choosing him. I interviewed David and was instantly impressed by the way he approached Shammy and I noticed Shammy liked David. This confirmed my decision. David cared for Shammy for four weeks and he sent me updates on Shammy's health throughout that time. This was very comforting as Shammy needed medication in the morning. It was these updates that confirmed that Shammy was being well cared for. When I returned home I was pleased to see the house was in perfect condition as when I left it. The refrigerator was clean and uncluttered and the kitchen was spotless as was the guest room. I contacted David recently to ask if he could care for Shammy again as I am travelling to Europe again. Unfortunately David will be not be available as he is travelling to Spain and visiting friends in Europe. Shammy and I are disappointed that he won't be here to house sit this time. I would recommend David to any person who is looking for a caring and thoughtful person to look after their furry friend. Margaret Bondi Junction

David looked after our home and cats for 10 days while we were in the NSW in Jan 2018. We returned to a house the way we left it and 2 very happy cats. We would definitely use David again.
