We are a quiet, mature aged couple who are clean, organized and responsible. We previously taught in China for many years, and have recently transitioned back to Australia. While we are re-establishing ourselves here, we would like to house-sit. We have just completed one house-sitting assignment for a couple who were in the U.S. for six weeks. We left the house and their pool in sparkling condition, and they were very satisfied. I (Wendy) have also house-sat for a lady in the U.S. during the Christmas vacation time. I took care of her two dogs, which included giving one of the dogs medication daily. I woke up early to take the dogs outside for walks, and played with them during the day. I am currently working for an aged care organization. My husband, Joe, works online from home. Joe and I have co-authored two children's books on China. We have a lovely 23 year old daughter who has her own accommodation and who recently graduated from university. We are friendly and kind to neighbours; we are non-smokers and non-drinkers. We don't play loud music or listen to loud TV. We are happy to help out with mowing and keeping the garden looking neat and clean. We both love cats and dogs! We would be more than happy to provide references upon request.
