Hello,
I am an amateur singer, pianist, composer and writer living with my wife Jamie, a psychologist in Cygnet for a year. We recently purchased a lot in Beechford where we plan to build a home over the next year.
In the meantime, I would like to see more of Tasmania and possibly the mainland and thought it would be fun to housesit other's homes with or without pets. I am an animal person and love cats and dogs. I've had Inca, a German Shepherd, Hunter, a German Shorthair pointer, and Tai and Chi, two Himalayans and grew up with lots of dogs.
Yesterday, we went on an art walk and one of the artists we visited had a rescue dog that had been abused. The artist told us, "she's very shy with men." After thirty seconds of scratching her chin, she was licking my face. I guess that's a pretty good canine endorsement. :)
I am quiet, don't drink or smoke, am tidy and would prefer to housesit in country settings but am open to city sits as well. I have always cared for our rental homes as if they were my own.
