Hi! I'm a Kiwi, moving to Melbourne with my Dutch boyfriend in June and looking for a place that feels like home to look after while we find our feet in a new city, preferably with an affectionate cat (loud purrers preferred). We enjoy cooking, particularly extravagant vegetarian inventions, adore the mountains and getting outside, and both rock climb and run. I swim, so proximity to a pool woild be a real winner. We are clean and respectful non-smokers, and would be delighted to look after your kitchen, bookshelf, garden, and cat.
We would be happy to provide references from past flatmates, but this is our first time house sitting. My mum was reading about it on the internet, and the idea of arriving to Melbourne and having a home, with animals, to look after and save money while we did so, was incredibly appealing.
