We are a mature, responsible, professional couple in our early/mid 60s who have been homeowners in Brisbane for the past 40 years. During that time we have built, lived in, loved and looked after three houses - plus dogs, cats and birds - mostly in the Mansfield/Carindale area. We are currently overseas on leave and will be returning to Australia mid February 2019 and will continue our 'time out' until later in the year. Housesitting assignments from February onwards would be very helpful for us as we settle back into life in Brisbane. We are the sort of people who, wherever we go to visit, rent or have a holiday, make sure we leave the house/apartment in as clean or cleaner condition. We have no 'official' Housesitting experience though we have looked after houses for friends from time to time, and always been complimented on the pristine state we left the houses in!. We can supply references on request and hold active Blue Cards, so have been through the necessary police checks.
