Mature, trustworthy, loving with animals. I am a mature, non-smoking, professional, reliable single woman in my 50’s who will look after your pets and home with a high degree of care and commitment. I have recently moved back to Brisbane following a few years in Melbourne where a couple of my adult kids (with grandchildren) were based. They moved back to NZ a little while ago (yes, I’m a Kiwi having lived in Australia for over 15 years) and I decided that now is the time to make a start on my own goals to become a full-time traveler in Australia.
There are two reasons I’ve moved into permanent pet and housesitting. I have been renting for over 10 years or so as I moved reasonably regularly for work or to be closer to family. I realized through those years it would be a challenge to have my own pets, but took every opportunity to ‘house/pet sit’ for family and friends, looking after pets such as dogs, cats, chickens, fish … I thought as I embarked on my new lifestyle, that housesitting with much loved pets would fill that gap in my life and it has proven to be true. I do love and care for the houseowner’s pets as I would my own.
I am trustworthy, reliable and respectful of your home, surrounds and your privacy. I am clean and tidy, quiet, sensible, conscientious and practical. You can leave with the peace of mind that your home, property (including your pool) and animals will be cared for with kindness, respect and care and when you return, your home will be exactly as you have left it and your animals happy. I will carry out the watering of plants/garden, pool care, collection of mail, junk mail, putting out and collecting rubbish bins and contact you about any issues that may arise an all other requests that you may have.
I have a Working with Children’s Check and obtained clear Policy Checks (current) as a work requirement. I do work full-time with regular office hours. At present, my work gives me flexibility to work from home but I’m better suited to your pets that don’t need someone at home during week days, every day.
I am always able to provide your dog an early morning and/or evening walk if required. I’m more than happy to keep you updated via Skype etc. text, phone and/or email while you are away.
My reputation as an excellent pet and house-sitter is building and references/endorsements are available. My references are also happy to be contacted.
