Hello, We are Kenny and Katy! We have recently moved home from living in Quebec, Canada for the last few years. Kenny is French Canadian and I'm Australian. We decided it was now time to give Australia a go after experiencing the Quebec lifestyle. I'm originally from the Central Coast and have my whole family still living between Sydney and the Gold Coast, so we are in the middle of deciding exactly where we want to position ourselves for the foreseeable future. Right now we need to be in Sydney but where exactly??? This is where housesitting comes into play. Kenny is a lineman by trade and has secured himself a job in Sydney as a Rope Access technician (abseiling down skyscrapers - yikes!). After 10 years of working in sales, marketing and events I decided to bite the bullet and go to uni. I'm in my 2nd year of my Bachelor of Communication Design at Billy Blue College of Design in Ultimo and loving it. Aside from Uni, I am a social support worker in my spare time. House sitting is not new to us as we have stayed in many friends and friends of friends houses in Canada while we were travelling to and from Kenny's work jobs on the road. We've both grown up always had animals at home (in Canada - cats, dogs, birds, chickens & ferrets). We are mindful of maintaining other areas of your property such as keeping plants alive and veggies gardens lush. We have enormous respect for homeowners property and possessions as we would treat it as our very own. We are 29 and 31 years old, very relaxed and chilled personalities. We lead physically active and healthy lifestyles - Kenny played ice hockey back home and I love yoga/pilates and we both go to the gym. We are a clean and tidy couple and it would be a pleasure to care of your home and your family animals. We have references from previous house sits and police checks to show if requested. Thank you Katy and Ken for looking after Ted, the Cavalier. We were so worried about leaving Ted to go overseas. However on meeting Katy and Ken they were so lovely and caring all the worry went away. We were in Europe for 3.5 weeks and Ted was looked after so well, probably to well. Ted misses them! We got regular updates and photos. We hope Ken and Katy can look after Ted on our next trip. Thanks guys!! 11 out of 10!
