Hi. My name is Libby.
I am a single, professional 42 year old animal lover with no children. I do not smoke. I own my own apartment in Hawthorn, but I am looking for short or long term house sitting opportunities closer to my work.
I currently have a long drive to and from work and come home to an empty apartment, as it is not suitable for pets. I would like to have a shorter drive sometimes and come home to a little buddy or two, even if it is just temporary.
I have been house sitting since I was at Uni (from 1995 onwards). Initially I would house sit for extended family, with or without pets and then for friends with pets. I also grew up with a dog and cats and have had fish as well.
I am a responsible, reliable and considerate person, I am clean and tidy and used to looking after my own place. I would take excellent care of your property. I do not have parties. I would be home every weeknight and the majority of the weekend unless there are extraordinary circumstances. I usually live a quiet life. I like peace and quiet and my own company.
Based on where my workplace is, I would like to house sit in the following suburbs:
Pascoe Vale, Essendon, Moonee Ponds, Niddrie, Keilor or inner city suburbs, including South Bank and North Bournemouth. I will consider other areas on a case by case basis.
I am new to Happy House Sitters so I do not have any references available, but can obtain one from my friend I have "house sat" for until I have some. I am also happy to ask my boss or colleagues for a reference. I am in the process of obtaining my Police Check.
I hope I can look after your pets, house and garden sometime soon.
