Hi! We are a family of four... myself, husband Anthony, and two girls, ages 12 and 9. We own our home on the north coast of Tasmania in a beautiful beachside community. We like to travel throughout the year. We have experience caring for animals because we have always had pets. We have a naughty lab named Roy, as well as chickens. Our oldest daughter is a bit of a chicken whisperer/expert and both girls love their chickens as much as they love Roy. Roy and I are quite active, walking several kilometres a day. He was adopted at age 3 and not well socialised as a pup, so we are used to dealing with doggy issues (pulling on the lead, towards other dogs, etc).
I have heaps of house plants, a large fruit and veggie garden, worm farms, ornamental gardens, and greenhouse. I'm always propagating something. We also have frog and fish ponds, and a bee hive. I'm originally from Florida, U.S.A., Anthony is from Tasmania, and we met while backpacking in France. We are all great with animals, gardens, non smokers, and of course, respectful, tidy house guests. We can supply references, police checks, etc. All of our house sits have noted our exceptional cleanliness/tidyness. I'm a stay at home mum, and Anthony is a tradesman, who travels for work.
