We are an experienced house & pet-sitting couple in our 30s (one from AU and one from UK) who love nature, tech, travel and animals. Danielle is a vet nurse - an amazing asset for taking care of your animals! She is currently on a career break, training in wellness with the aim of opening a wellness centre, she also does Holistic Pet Consulting - helping improve animal behaviours and issues through looking at everything from their diet to environment and providing guidance to owners. Zia works mostly from home in tech - ideal for animals who love company.
We are mature, responsible, pretty quiet and enjoy nothing more than a long walk, discovering new things, enjoying the outdoors or a good movie. We are both active non-smoking vegans - we regularly sit for non-vegan households and this is no problem, we don't expect others to accommodate us in that regard at all.
We like to keep things clean & tidy. Zia owns a home in the UK and knows first hand how important it is to keep a home and pets in order. We also understand sticking to a pet's routine and normality as much as possible is super important and this is probably a large part of why you use a housesitting service - so this is always top of our minds when we come and do a sit.
We both love animals of all shapes and sizes and have extensive experience taking care of them. Your pets will always have company and cuddles. We have no children and no pets currently (although have had everything from cats & dogs to birds, horses & goats in the past).
We like to keep fit, so daily walks are always guaranteed. And always happy to venture out for adventures to park walks or the beach. We have our own car so getting around isn't an issue.
We have been housesitting internationally for the last year and it's a great way for us to be around animals & travel while we save for our own place and like to go to different areas for something different and explore areas we might like to buy.
We are very respectful and leave any home as we found it and spotless. We are happy to do a face-to-face meet if in VIC beforehand or a video chat if you would like to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible with us taking care of your home & pets.
