About Me
Thank you for reading my profile. I am a 32 year old female who is easy going and works in marketing, I love pet & house sitting and the opportunity is has bought me.
I have a very recent working with children check that was completed in March this year, a recent Police Check, as well as 5 star references from my main sitter site (which I will share upon application) as well as reference from my previous landlord.
I love the arts, travel, hanging out with my family & friends and going to the movies. I have grown up with cats and dogs all my life and I own a very cute (albeit also very bossy) little pug that lives with my parents. I am also experienced with pets that have more timid personalities, and understand the soft and tentative approach required to ensure they feel comfortable.
I am respectful, very tidy and enjoy my own downtime. I generally like to come home after work and cook for myself and read/watch ted talks/research or do 'life admin'. I am a non smoker and my idea of a perfect night out is going to dinner with my girlfriends and ordering red velvet cake! I am keen to continue my own 'me time' and be productive for myself.
Why I want to house sit
I fell into both pet & house sitting after having recently packed up my life, only to have my travel plans change. Since then, I have been house sitting in long term stays or residing at my parents in Ringwood in between sits. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My reasoning for wanting to continue is to enjoy the downtime it brings to be able to live alone, to be close to work (in the CBD), to save my pennies for my own home one day, whilst being able to enjoy the company that furry friends bring if I am looking after a home that comes with them!
My Experience
I have been house and pet sitting since the beginning of the year. I have looked after cats and dogs, as well as homes that with no pets but have beautiful plants. If you have pets, I know what it is like to be away from fur children. I like to send pictures to update to those who I am sitting for (if you would like them!).
