I am a 58 yo non-smoker, rarely-drinker, who has just moved back to Melbourne to be nearer to my daughters, after five years on the NSW Mid North Coast, I am alternating my time between staying with my daughters and house-sitting while I look to buy. I am busy doing volunteer work but as most of that is on the computer, I will be in a lot of the time.
I am nearing the end of my current house sit (six weeks looking after a gorgeous cat called Jonathan) and have enjoyed it so much, I am now looking for another one before my Christmas sit starts on December 14.
I love most animals (not keen on rats though, even pet ones!), have had cats and dogs for most of my life, as well as horses in my younger days, although cats are my particular favourite.
I spent five years as Cattery Manager at a boarding kennels in Yarrambat as well as looking after the dogs and am experienced in all aspects of domestic animal welfare, including giving medications, both oral and via injection.
Having previously used house sitters, I am very aware of how important it is to find someone who not only looks after your animals, but also your house, so please be assured that I will not only care for your pets to the best of my ability, but also look after your house as if it were my own and keep it clean and tidy, as well as leave it how I found it (not always the case, as I have found).
As yet, I have not got a Police Check done as all my sits have been via word of mouth, but am about to apply for one.
