I am a mature, retired single lady. I Retired after spending 25 years working for Tasmania Police.
I have my own home near Hobart in Tasmania.
I have had a bit of a break from house sitting whilst I spent the last three years living in New South Wales and helping out with my granchdhildren, aged seven and five. Now they are both at school I am back home in Tasmania and rearing to go again.
I have had previous experience house sitting and are happy to provide references and contact details from the home owners I have previously house sat and a police clearance.
I am an animal lover, however I no longer have pets of my own as I lost my much loved female Akita (dog) (Ellie) five years ago. I am a non smoker and very clean and tidy. I look after other people's homes and gardens as if they were my own.
I last had a great housesit at Turramurra in 2015 where I spent a month looking after Rex, the spoodle and Annie the cat.
In December/January 2015 I spent 17 days at Woonona near Wollongong, where I looked after Zuri, a female Border Collie/Poodle.
In 2011 I had a house sit at Brighton Le Sands where I looked after an eccentric cockatiel who lived in a small pen rather a cage. He was free to hop out and roam around the apartment as he wished. He had a deformed wing so was not able to fly.
In 2010 I had a very pleasant house sit at Smithfield near Cairns, Qld, with my husband, where we looked after two Australian cattle Dogs, Tilly and Digger and a cat named Glasgow. This house sit was for nine weeks. In 2007 we looked after Rolley (a Golden Retriever) and Millie (a Labrador) at Altona in Victoria for three weeks.

To Whom it May Concern, We left our dog, cat and house in Stephanie's care for 4 weeks and were very happy on our return. Stephanie kept in contact with us via email during the trip, which was reassuring. On our return the house was clean and well kept and the animals, although very happy to see us, were healthy and well cared for.
