HELP!! We have had a our regular awesome house and dog sitter unexpectedly pull out of a locked in house sit due to a major health concern. We know this is very short notice but we have everything crossed that we might find a replacement dog sitter asap as we have an overseas trip locked in from 22/11 - 18/12/25! We are looking for a dog lover who would be willing to take our much loved, active 7 yo kelpie on 2 brisk 40 minute walks each day (morning and afternoon) and hopefully spend a little time playing with him as well. If you don't think you could walk briskly with Banjo once or ideally twice each day then this house sit probably won't suit you. He is a well behaved, sensitive soul with plenty of energy. He walks well on the lead and sleeps inside the house (downstairs) at night. We live in a modern 4 BR two storey home (3 bedrooms - one 1 queen and 2 double beds are available for use) with 2 living areas, 2 separate toilets and a large bathroom. We are about a 10 minute drive from beautiful Illawarra beaches and have a bus stop 150m metres away that goes to Wollongong CBD and to our local pools. Our house is within walking distance of the stunning Illawarra escarpment. We have reliable WiFi, Netflix on 2 large smart TVs, air con and modern cooking appliances. We are only a 2 minute drive from the well known Balgownie Village (only a 5 minute walk). The 'Village' has a pub, chemist, deli, cafes, bakery, post office, butcher and restaurants. Our dog Banjo would love company during the day for short periods, so this house sit would suit someone who possibly works from home and is looking for a change of scene for a few weeks OR an active retired couple/grey nomads who are 'in between' home sits! We have plenty of road space in front of our home to park a caravan and tennis courts across the road that can be booked.
