Memphis is our dog and he is much more than an ordinary dog – he is a member of our family. Memphis is 6 and has lived in our home for 3 years . He was originally a rescue dog from Shenton Park and served 2 incarcerations there so we are his 3rd owners. We were told that he was a Ridgeback/Mastiff cross but we think he has some Boxer in him because of the white markings on his stomach. He responds particularly well to female energy and has the most beautiful nature – unless you happen to be a cat ! Memphis is not allowed up on the furniture or on the carpets, so he knows he is not allowed into the lounge or the bedrooms and he will stop at the doorways. Memphis is used to being walked morning and evening and is very ball focussed, as are many rescue dogs. Ideally we would want someone to be around for most of the time, so a retiree, a retired couple or possibly someone that works from home would suit best.
