Hello, our family is travelling overseas this Christmas and we are requiring preferably a couple of mature persons to look after our home and care for our two dogs.

The suburb of Viewbank is little known to even locals, but boasts some of the most open parklands, rural landscapes and recreational facilities and is public transport friendly within a short trip to shopping centres and Melbourne City itself should you not drive (we actually have a bus stop right out front of our home that takes you 5 mins direct to the newly built Rosanna train station).

Our home is a very presentable, comfortable, light-filled home that offers both reverse cycle cooling/heating as well as evaporative and ducted. We have all the mod cons one should require for a pleasant stay should you wish to enjoy a Christmas feast, including a built in barbecue with mains gas and pizza oven!

Our two dogs are a 12yr old Pappilon X, named BonBon (Bonnie) and a 12 MONTH old pure Border Collie, named Harvey. We are hoping to find some really special carers for our very special pets. Harvey, being his age will require the most attention and is currently still learning to settle. He is on a strict behavioural training schedule as Service Dog for our eldest daughter, so require somebody whom can ensure his regime will continue whilst we are away (mainly feeding and socialisation manners). Bonnie on the other hand is pretty much her own person at her age and will let you know if she needs anything (shes akin to a cat really). Both dogs LOVE to go for walks, which we do so most days and there are a variety of places to take them on-leash-only or the local dog park which is an off-leash area..We really must emphasise the importance of caring for both our pets as this is the only reason for our listing. They are both good natured and apart from this attentiveness, your stay will be very casual and care-free.
