URGENT REQUEST DUE TO SITTER BECOMING UNWELL. We have only got 2 weeks to organize a replacement., otherwise will have to cancel our holiday..4 Split-leveled home in the older unique area of Ocean Grove. Our property looks over a lovely lake which has bird life around it. There is a walking pathway/ lots of trees around the lake for walking; running or ideal to walk dogs around..Our home has most mod coms required for comfortable living.. Our house is organised on 4 levels. The longest staircase would be 10 steps to top bedroom. the rest of the stairs are only 4/5 steps. The main living area has large windows that take in the views of a fernery plus good views of Blue waters Lake..Our home is a smoke-free zone. There is a large back balcony where smokers are free to light up. A modern bathroom including a spa.
Pets & farm animals
It is imperative that we find a person/ or couple who are genuine dog people. Our pets [ 2 male Cavaliers King Charles Spaniels] are part of the family & do live indoors so require lots of love & attention. The dogs will be 1 8 months . The boys {Cavies] will be very active/ play a great deal chasing each other around the house plus large back garden terraced yard. Have plenty of toys to play with..playing with their toys. They are in door pets so need to be nurtured. They are toilet trained etc &. answer to specific demands.
House Tasks
What we ask of our sitter/s is that someone needs to be around at home for companionship & adaptability. They are getting used to us leaving the house for a few hours at a time so will be used to having time with each other.. Going to the supermarket or where ever is OK; however cavaliers truly need human contact & plenty of love; cuddles; TLC; etc. So someone would need to be around a little more often. A full day out would be too much stress on the cavies. Be able to every second day or so go for a short walk around the lake with the 2 cavaliers. Regular feeding also essential. Giving them a brush once a week would be appreciated. Finally to keep our home tidy. To be respectful that this is our special family home. If the weather is very dry our front garden would need to be watered. We also need to sight some references,Police Check; license nos. Any other ID.
