Beach house for new year week! We are in Torquay about 10 minutes walk to White's beach. The house in a quiet cul de sac with views of the water. We have a 2 year old staghound dog, who is super friendly and loves her beach walks. We also have two inside cats who are pretty cruisey. We would love someone to come and look after them all for a week and enjoy the best the surf coast has to offer. Please get in touch if this suits you!
Pets & farm animals
We have one 2-year old staghound, Gracie, who loves either one long or two shorter walks a day. At that time of the year dogs are only allowed on some parts of the beach unless it is before 9am or after 7pm, so we usually walk her morning and night. She is a very happy dog on the beach and loves connecting with other dogs and people. Once she has had her walk, she's usually happy to chill out in the back yard. We also give her two meals a day and she sleeps inside but usually doesn't come inside until the evening. We have two inside cats who just pretty much do their own thing. They aren't allowed outside except on their "catio", which does mean care needs to be taken when opening and closing the door coming in and out. The cats like being played with but aren't terribly into cuddles (unless they feel like it!) They would need to just have their food topped up and kitty litter changed as needed.
House Tasks
Perhaps some garden watering if it is really hot and there is no rain. Otherwise, your main job is to enjoy the beach and our home (and our fur family of course!).
