We live in the beautiful Huon Valley in an award-winning passive solar house, situated on 50 acres of bush. The open plan living area has gorgeous views over a valley. There is a wood heater with plenty of wood for cloudy days. It's just 35 minutes from Hobart or Cygnet. We are within easy travelling distance of all the many Huon attractions. The house (2 bedrooms) is extremely low maintenance and we are very happy for our car to be used. Our beautiful cat, Kitty lives completely indoors as we are regularly visited by native animals and birds. We will be away the 27th of April to the 26th of May.Kitty is quite shy, but is friendly once she gets to know you. She just requires feeding and company - despite her 17 years, she is healthy and active in an elderly cat sort of way!Our other pets are some chooks who lay lovely eggs. We give them some grain as a treat most days, but they live very happily on what they can forage, scraps and laying pellets.A vege patch provides some home grown produce.
