We are a family of four who live in the beautiful south Gippsland area in a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house on acreage. We have 1 dog, 1 cat, some chooks & sheep. We are looking for someone to care for the animals, house & lawn while we travel for three months. We live approx 10km from Mirboo North, which has a variety of cafes and shops and all you basic grocery needs. We are 30 mins from Morwell and 20 mins from leongatha, where both larger towns provide cinemas and shopping opportunities. We are located in a great central area that is only about 40 mins from the beach (1 hr from Wilson’s Promontory) and 1 1/2 hrs from the snow. We both work, so the animals are happy to be left at home during the day, but enjoy the company of others immensely. The cat & dog are both inside/outside and love a cuddle! They are very easy going and will be no trouble to look after. Diesel the dog is a 4 year old Staffordshire terrier who is a fun loving sook. He sleeps outside, but enjoys laying around inside (usually on the couch), whenever your home. Sparkles the cat is tortoiseshell moggy, who sleeps most of the day and comes and goes inside/outside as she pleases. The chooks only require a small amount of work, with fresh eggs to enjoy daily. All the lawn can be mown with the ride on mower. We use a split system for heat, so no need to worry about firewood or fires. There is wifi available, along with Netflix, Xbox and two tv lounge areas. The house was only built 6 years ago, so all modern amenities are provided; washer, dryer, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. The two bathrooms both have showers & baths & toilets. We have a lovely undercover alfresco area which overlooks some gumtrees and the lovely rolling hills surrounding us.
