We are looking for a non-smoking house sitter to look after our 3-year-old staffy x mutt in our groovy sanctuary in the heart of the inner west for 2.5 weeks in January 2020. Our house is a small, newly-renovated 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a large deck and gorgeous garden. We're on a battleaxe block, which means privacy plus, and have everything you could possibly need for a great house sitting experience. We are close to both the bus and light rail, and a short stroll to both Leichhardt and Annandale village pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops.
Pets & farm animals
Our dog would need one meal per day and at least one big walk per day too. He's great off the lead at the park/beach and loves car rides. He would prefer to do EVERYTHING with you if at all possible :), but if not, he's happy at home. He wouldn't suit someone who will leave him at home all day everyday as he's used to family life with people coming and going all the time.
House Tasks
The house is easy to maintain - we would just ask for it to be left in the same clean state as when you started! The garden would need watering every second day, and our mail would need collecting.
