Hi there, we are looking for a dog loving, clean and caring house/pet sitter/s to take care of our place and our Pets while we travel overseas. We live in a near new 4 bedroom home with two bathrooms in a new estate that is abundant with parklands. It's about a 10 minute walk to Helensvale Train Station which goes to Brisbane and the light rail which takes you south into Surfers Paradise. Helensvale Westfield is just an 8 minute walk away or a quick drive where you will find Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and cafes. Movie World, Wet and Wild and Dreamworld are only off the next motorway exit so our home is very well located.The beach and waterways are only about a 15-20min drive.We have Foxtel and high speed WiFi. The location is also 5min drive to the M1 freeway it really is very central to go either North or South.
Pets & farm animals
We have two adorable female Italian Greyhounds they are not full size Greyhounds they are smaller than whippets. They will need lots of love while we are away. They are quite shy dogs at first and will need a lot of attention to get used to you. They will need to be walked once a day on the lead. They are house trained. Due to the breed they are mainly house dogs and we prefer them not be left outside for lengthy periods. They do like to sleep in the bed with you and on you, they are lap dogs or Velcro dogs as we call them they love to be with you.
House Tasks
Generally keeping the house clean and tidy inside and out. Dog walking. Cleaning dogs inside fake grass toilets and change of puppy pads. Watering lawn back and front when required. Collect mail. Water 3 small indoor plants. Take bins out for council pick up and bring them back in after.
