Pets & farm animals

We ask that a sitter be an animal lover and someone who is happy to attend to our pets. Tash is a 8 year old cocker spaniel. We generally walk her everyday although this can be flexible provided she has plenty of human company. We are her third family and as a result she is somewhat anxious, she takes anxiety medication daily but otherwise is a very happy friendly dog who will want to be your best friend.. Mirabelle is a 10 year old female British short hair cat (looks like the Cheshire cat from Alice in wonderland). She is an indoor cat although will try to escape so a sitter must be vigilant! Mirabelle has a heart condition and requires medication to be crushed up in her food morning and night. This simply involves crushing some pills and mixing it into wet cat food, however, it does require someone to be available to do this morning and night (some flexibility around timing, eg. We might feed her at 4pm if we are going out). The other task involves cleaning her litter on a daily basis. She can be shy at first but if you are an animal lover she will soon works this out and enjoy your company.
