2 bedroom house with 2 large, but generally well behaved, hound dogs. We're looking for a house sitter who can walk the dogs 1-2 times a day for 30-60 minutes per walk. Dogs are good with kids, but can be strong on the lead at times, so need a confident adult walker. Dogs stay mainly outside, but sleep inside in a dedicated area at night. Our house is a comfortable 2 bedroom home with a large backyard, 2 double beds (one can convert to one or two single beds). We are about 12kms outside Melbourne CBD and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest station. It is about 30 minutes by train into Flinders St station.
Pets & farm animals
Two large dogs (30-40kgs). Generally well behaved but can pull on lead and get excited by cats and other dogs when on lead. Need someone/two people confident to handle large dogs and willing to be the boss so they don't lose their manners while we're away!
House Tasks
Minimal garden care (watering pots once a week if no rain, indoor plants once a week if they become dry). Collecting mail. Just keeping house generally tidy.
