This is our fifth time using a house/pet sitter. Everyone we have had in the past has been amazing, however we are now in Geelong rather than Melbourne so it is too far for previous sitters to come.We need someone great to come and stay in our sunny brand new two bedroom house and look after our super cute and sweet cat Tyson for nine days while we are in Tassie for Christmas. You can choose which bedroom you want - one has a queen bed, the other a double. You will have full use of everything in our place. The houseis 8km from Geelong CBD and 15km from Torquay and the amazing Surf Coast/Great Ocean Road. 5 minute drive from Marshall train station and close to the new Warralily shops.The house has split system cooling, dishwasher, Foxtel, NBN/wifi and single lock up garage for your use.The only essentials are that you're clean & tidy, don't use drugs, are a non-smoker, and a cat lover. Also - no parties please. It's a quiet neighbourhood.Tyson is the most affectionate, sweet cat you will ever meet however he is 15 years old and has kidney disease. This does not normally cause any issues, but it is very important that he always has enough water and special kidney diet food. He is super well behaved, doesn't scratch or bite, is a bit of a sook and loves to get his litter all over the laundry floor. He is used to being on his own during the day, not so much at night. He has a number of different sleeping spots and loves to join on the bed, however if this is not your thing you can absolutely close the door - just be prepared for a bit of meowing and scratching until he gives up :)He also unfortunately does not get along with other animals, especially other cats.References essential. Police check would be a definite bonus.

All we ask is that you feed him twice a day and ensure his litter is cleaned - he has kidney disease and is healthy at the moment but he is very fussy with his litter. He is used to being on his own during the day but not at night. He is absolutely not allowed outside, ever. He loves cuddles and does like to sleep on the bed - you can close the door if you'd prefer not to have him with you but be prepared for some scratching at the door and meowing. Caring for Tyson is the absolute most important part of the job. Clear instructions for looking after him will be discussed.
