Located just 3km from the gorgeous village of Hahndorf, Crabapple Hill is 12 acres of bliss... and animals. Many, many animals (9 chickens, 4 dogs, 2 alpacas and 2 horses!)

The spacious three bedroom farmhouse has everything from gorgeous art, to air conditioning, a coffee machine and hotel quality sheets on the beds. With two types of Internet (ADSL and Satellite) and subscriptions to every streaming service imaginable, it's the perfect haven to cool down in after enjoying the local wineries, cheese shops and shopping.

Back to the animals... One of the pooches (Charlie), doesn't love being left without a human so he'd love it if you took him on your adventures, or he's happy to take a chill pill and snooze on the couch with his easy going brothers (Tyrion, Jethro and Axton). The dogs love walks, but they're also just fine with chilling in the garden so no pressure. All 4 are little, and spend most of their lives snoozing though Axton will happily toddle around the farm with you.

Then there's Murphy and Scout - the patchy ponies. They're easy to handle (if you want to) but also happy to have their food thrown over a fence. Our neighbours are great and will help a non horsey sitter!

The bantams will generously provide you with the most delicious little eggs and just need their food and water topping up. The foxes love them a little too much so they are kept safely locked in a huge run.

Finally, we have Hershey and Caramello the alpacas. They love their daily drop off of hay and pellets and need their water topped up every couple of days but... they're super low maintenance!

We also have koalas, deer and kangaroos visiting but, they ask for nothing!
