We have a 4 x 1 double brick house in the small suburb of Forrestdale, located a 30 minute drive south of the Perth city centre. It is walking distance to Forrestdale Lake, a lovely nature reserve. Located close to the Darling Scarps, it's also a great base to go for hikes in the hills. Kitchen is well kitted out with a fantastic stove, dishwasher and coffee machine. The bathroom has a spa bath for relaxing in, and a four poster bed in the main bedroom (which has air con). We have a house full of animals; two dogs, five fish tanks, two reptiles and three chickens. The dogs are both rescues and have their quirks, someone with a good amount of experience and confidence with dogs is preferred. Ideally they would both have a walk a day, however it is completely understandable if they miss a day here and there. Chickens, fish and reptiles are all low maintenance, taking less than 5 minutes a day and rewarding you with fresh eggs. The gardens are also low maintenance, a few pot plants may need a water once a week if it's hot.

Two rescue dogs, a small (14 kg) kelpie x, Maya, and a large (40 kg) kelipie x, Andy.
Maya is a fairly timid dog who we adopted as an adult. She has become much calmer in the couple of years that we've had her, however she is still reactive around other dogs and some new people when introducing her. She is high energy when out for walks and loves nothing more than playing fetch at the local oval. Ideally she would be walked every day.
Andy, although almost 2 now, is still very much a puppy at heart. He is boisterous and excited when meeting new people and is still learning not to jump on people when meeting. As a 40 kg dog this can be quite intimidating, however he does not have an aggressive bone in his body. He is very submissive around other dogs and gets along well with them.
