Family home in a quiet street in south east suburbs, close to grocery stores, the local shopping centre and public transport and a short drive from our lovely and very popular botanical gardens. We require a sitter for a week to care our cherubs while we have a family holiday. We have 3 dogs- 2 gentle senior girls (a lab and a Jack Russell), a 1.5 year old boxer x kelpie who is a playful, goofy and very sweet boy, 2 friendly (indoor only) cats who are extremely easy to care for as they will either sleep the day away or entertain themselves! Lastly, a lovely galah who acquired us a couple of years ago by wandering into my husband’s workplace! He loves a good chat and lives outdoors in his roomy cage. About the home: We started renovations around 5 years ago after buying our first home. Things have gone a little slow, but we have a fantastic kitchen, a large undercover deck out back perfect for sitting around in the evenings, the carport is large and long with entry straight to the front door of the house. Lovely front garden, the back yard is a work in progress though as we try an establish some fruit trees. There is minimal watering to do with access to a garden hose and watering can. And that’s about it! We would love for you to consider home/pet sitting for us in the new year!

Dog- senior girl Labrador x mastiff Dog- senior girl Jack Russell (does have incontinence as she is 16) she has her own overnight sleeping quarters or may sleep outside to reduce inside accidents. Dog- 1.5 yr old boxer x kelpie, male. Is house trained and underwent some obedience training prior to Covid. He an inside/outside dog. He is very sweet, smart, playful and sure to entertain you! Cat- we have 2. An older boy (domestic shorthair- tuxedo cat as we like to call him), who very laid back, and his younger doppelgänger. Our older cat does require heart medication daily but this is a simple task as it goes down well mixed with some wet food. Bird- our galah lives in his own abode outdoors just off the kitchen area. He is happy being within sight of us and enjoys regular chats. We do not remove him from his cage though as he is not accustomed to being handled (he is a rescue). We need a caring and responsible individual/s to care for our fur family while we are away.
