Awesome 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Marrickville with a dog who will steal your heart!
My partner and I are going to Tasmania in March and require a reliable, trustworthy and energetic dog-lover to care for our 16 month old boxer-Dane Harley.
She is a great dog, sweet, loving and a little goofy. She's got a lot of energy, so we find fetch at the park is the best way to give her the exercise she needs and she is OBSESSED with it. Normally if we take her for her walk to the park with some fetch in the morning, she will pretty much sleep all day until her evening walk.
She isn't used to being alone very often, so ideally you would work from home or work reduced hours. My partner works from home and we have a great office space set up so you will definitely be comfortable - large screens and ergonomic chair inclusive!
Harley has a pretty solid routine of both morning and evening walks and one bathroom outing in the middle of the day and in the evening just before bed. If the either of the bathroom outings are missed, she is pretty good at holding it - but it means that when you get home she will be pretty desperate to go "walkies".
We feed her twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.
She's really chill if you bring her places with you. I can take her to a cafe and she just sits under my feet. She is pretty good with other dogs, to be honest she is generally ignores them, especially when its fetch time. She is scared of kids so if you have any, sorry but this might not be the right fit. She's a really good girl and is very driven by praise and affection.
The apartment is a great one bedroom apartment with lots of natural light, views of the city and Marrickville road, high ceilings and some beautiful house plants that need a little bit of water during your stay.
