Sandstone home updated with all modern features. Spacious 1+ bedroom, 2 bath home steps from Sydney Harbour with views of the Harbour and Anzac bridges

Hi house and pet sitters. We are looking for a sitter for our friendly and well-behaved small dog and our cat. The cat keeps to herself and you might only glimpse her during mealtimes- but you will see the food and water bowl go down (litter scooping will be a necessary consequence). The dog is a different story - she will sit near when you are at our home and follow you everywhere - up or down stairs, eager to please an open to attention. She loves to be outdoors and enjoys regular walks; she is social with other dogs. She is spectacularly patient at cafes and enjoys regular trips to the local pub (dogs allowed). We have a few potted plants that would need watering once or twice. A bit of sweeping of the path may be needed to keep fallen leaves from blowing inside.

In return you will have the opportunity to stay in a two story sandstone original cottage that has been renovated to include all the amenities of a modern home. We are steps from the harbour and have a couple of kayaks that would love to get some use while we are away. Transport is easy - Ferry to Quay or Barangaroo is 30 seconds away from our front door and buses a short walk away. Parking is available on site.

It is a great opportunity for someone who works from home. We would like to preference a mature individual or couple who have enough flexibility to be around regularly and who are comfortable to take the dog with you if the outing is appropriate for a pup to tag along. That said, our dog can manage on her own for stretches of time.

We would like meet with you and introduce you our pets and have the opportunity to run through anything you need to know about the house (including accessing our wifi)
